Functioning, and durable if your dog behaves. We ran into an issue with our previous seat belts for the pup, so we decided to go for this one. It works well, and is very straight forward to use. Just plug and clip to the collar. The bungie part is good as it allows some freedom of movement for the dog.There are two things to consider if you buy this product though. It’s a little long and it may not be durable enough for large dogs or avid chewers. If your dog can’t move around too much, you may find the extendable feature to be too long, you can however adjust the length of the belt and it works well for our Doberman which has free range of the back seats. And if your dog chews a lot, it will most likely be able to chew right through this belt and it’ll fray from the damages. But that can probably be said about any doggy seat belt!Overall satisfied with the purchase, and glad it had two belts, one for each car! The water bowl was much too small for our Dobie though.
Useful and practical. If your dog is older and bigger it might not have enough room or not hold them where their supposed to be. My puppy is only a couple months old and likes to climb everywhere. When used with his harness he has room to roam the back but can’t climb to the front and if he does it doesn’t get him very far. I think it was great for the price and wasn’t an awful purchase.
Too long but does work. If I could change anything about this product, I would make it shorter. When my dog is using the seatbelt, he can move around a lot and I was really looking for something to keep him in one seat. I appreciate that it’s stretchy and it does work. It has a really good hold in the seatbelt which is very convenient but overall I would wish it would be a little shorter.
Great so far. I ordered this seat belt to use with my 19 pound bichon poo rescue dog who likes to ride in the backseat in her dog bed. I should’ve bought this over 10 years ago, but I’m so glad I have it now. I just went on a long road trip and the seatbelt worked perfectly connected to her harness. She was comfortable and able to move all across the backseat without a problem. If she was a bigger dog, it would probably be an issue but it’s the right size for her. Seems like good quality and I ended up using the water bowl four times. Very happy with this purchase!
Works great, very durable. I love that it’s adjustable and it comes with two and the bowl we use for the outdoor yard. One I keep in my truck and the other one is in her travel bag so I never forget it if we are in someone else’s vehicle.
Does what it’s supposed to do. This leash arrived just as described. The bowl was a nice touch, too. As a parent of a four legged child who just loves jumping out the car window, this leash has been a life saver, literally 🙂
Great Product!! Use with Harness, not Collar. This seatbelt is everything! I love that it came with two so I could put one in each car, or two in one car if traveling together. It clicks in just like a typical seatbelt would. My one warning is that if your car is over 12 years old, the belt might have trouble fitting. My mom’s old 2012 Kia Forte wouldn’t let the dog seatbelts click in, but luckily, we were able to use these plastics hooks in the car to hold the seatbelt in place. I love that it has bungee cord in it to soften any jerking. Like my title says though, PLEASE USE WITH A HARNESS!!! Can’t say this enough- getting jerked by the neck if (God forbid) you got in an accident can cause serious damage, so please take my advice and only use with a harness so any jerking on the belt from sudden stops or hard turns won’t hurt your fur babies. This also keeps my dog from getting into the front seat, which is a big hazard as well. Also comes with a traveling water bowl which is the coolest little add on. I take my dogs to the park a lot and the bowl clips to my keys and goes flat so I can take it anywhere. Great product when used properly!!!!!

Really nice tethers. These are nice sturdy tethers for your car. Well made! They have just enough stretch so your dog can move around a bit and it will give a little if you have break hard. I do volunteer animal transport and these are perfect for keeping the dogs safe and comfortable! And they even come with a nice little collapsing bowl! Very happy with this purchase!!
