Not for heavy items. This is not a heavy duty cabinet – this is about as flimsy as an IKEA Billy bookcase with a cardboard paper back. This is not sturdy enough to hold lots of heavy cans or tools. We use this to store first aid stuff and it does the job. It’s not something you could use as a DIY built in and I probably wouldn’t store it in a garage or any place exposed to water or the elements.Comes with mounting hardware for the wall so it doesn’t tip over. I was able to assemble this by myself in about 2 hours.

Don’t Buy. Like most things for sale, this pantry cabinet comes from China, and as you know, China makes cheap products. One of the things I discovered people in China do is use fiberglass as a cheap fire retardant in products, such as mattresses. The very mattresses I talk about are here on Amazon, such as Zinus and Lucid. I should know; I have a Lucid mattress. While it is comfortable, I am just waiting for the day silica or fiberglass is everywhere. Customers of these mattresses inhale the fiberglass and rub their skin on it, which in turn causes a myriad of health issues, including asthma and eczema.Anyway, this pantry cabinet is unfortunately another example of how cheap and overpriced many products that are made in China are. “They just don’t make them like they used to,” is a fair statement about this pantry cabinet. While it works for the time being, it will not last long, forcing me to purchase yet another one in a year or so. I advise you to save yourself some money and support a small, local business, such as an antique shop, before considering purchasing this, or any product from China. They will be cheaper and sturdier than products like this pantry cabinet, and while you may just have to re-paint or re-sand them, they’ll last for generations.

Looks good. It’s unreal how expensive everything has gotten. I was not willing to pay as much as I did but I needed a cabinet for my canned goods and other non-perishable foods.This one works great. The color is also very nice.It’s not solid wood, it’s compressed wood. One of the boards was cracked at the top but we worked around it.Once put together, we couldn’t see the crack.

Damaged Product. I bought this closet as is intended use to be a small pantry for my tiny studio apartment. Upon opening up the undamaged shipping box and taking out the pieces to start assembly, I noticed 2 major damages and was really disappointed. The closet overall is sturdy and great for storage but am super disappointed with the damaged product. I think you might be able to find something better for the same price.

Good, easy to build, cheap materials. This is perfect for the space I need it for. It was easy to build and fairly priced. It is made from cheap, pressed wood. It doesn’t look cheap but may not be sturdy. My kid tossed a ball when o was moving it and the cardboard back got damaged. I would buy this again.

Be careful when nailing. Remember it’s not real wood. Like the product for the price. I live at an in-law apartment and it fits perfect.
