Clorox Pool&Spa Crazy Clarifier

There are a number of clarifiers, this one just works and its easy to use it. Other clarifiers work by attaching particles in the water to the chemical and then dropping them to the bottom of the pool over time and hopefully you vacuum it up later to get rid of it. I don’t know if that’s happening with this one but it just works.Ensure your pool or spa chemicals are in balance first, then dump in the recommended amount once a week and the water will be crystal clear, you can use more as needed if you have algae or when starting up a pool that has been unused for sometime.Although being precise is generally the best way to care for a pool or spa, getting the right amount of chemicals in and not too much or too little or it throws everything else off.Maybe it’s luck but for my pool (22,000 gal) I fill the cap to the lin in the lid like you do in liquid washing machine detergent and I toss it in.As an added bonus, its really kind of cool to watch, it blooms into a cloud and the dark blue liquid turns into a much lighter, fluffy could before it diapers into the water.

Good price point. For some reason this year, my water won’t stay clear, I used another product with no luck as well. I believe it’s worth the price

Takes a day or two to work. I am a new owner of an indoor, above ground pool. The previous owners swore that we needed to drop the water level by half twice a year in order to keep the water clear when there was a lot of “dead” chlorine/old water. Considering that we probably add 1 to 2 inches of water a night to make up for evaporation, leaks and splashing, that just seemed ridiculous to us. But after a few months, yeah, the pool was getting pretty cloudy and baking soda wasn’t as effective as it had been. I researched and found this product. Fairly cheap, simple to use, and actually effective! At 1st I thought it didn’t work because I didn’t see much of a difference the 1st day after using it. But the 2nd day was amazing! The pool was sparkling clean! This product is much more cost-effective than dumping and replacing 10,000 gallons of water twice a year! I use it once or twice a month, depending on how much use the pool gets. Since finding it, I have never let the dead chlorine accumulate like the 1st time and the product continues to work well.

Works well. Very inexpensive. Does a great job keeping the pool extra clear. However, I have noticed that my pool filter clogs quicker. This makes since because this product captures the “stuff” in the pool and makes it large enough to be caught by the filter. My friends are amazed at how clear my pool water is after using this product for a few weeks. I honestly thought it looked good before I started using it. It is hard to imagine it looks even better now.

Works great. The Sze ad price is good.

Very effective. My pool turned green. After adjusting the chemistry, there was a lot of cloudiness. This product does a great job bonding all those tiny particles so that the filter can trap them or makes them fall to the bottom where they can be syphoned out. The job took several days because you need to allow the bonding to work between applications but progress was significant at each round.

Crystal clear water for hot tubs. After just a tiny splash of this, my murky hot tub water is now crystal clear. It turned the murky stuff into a slime that collected in the filter so had to spray that off. Also helps to have a skum sponge floating on the surface

Good product. Would buy again and will next summer. Worked as it should. Cleared the pool up real nice but it took a couple of days and it was combined with Drop out because the pool was so cloudy. Put it in. Run the pump on high for about 3 hours and then just shut the pump off and let it sit 2 or 3 days while it works. Don’t be impatient. Vacuum pool to waste as the sediment will pass through a filter. I bought a liquid transfer pump to do this but you can remove the filter if a cartridge, plug all return lines to pool with the exception of the one to expel the cloudy water. If pump is 2 speed, vacuum on low very slowly so not to raise sediment.

Definitely Purchase This as Bulk for Hot Tub Maintenance. My hot tub instructions are to put 2 oz of clarifier every week as part of weekly maintenance. Buying the smaller boutique bottles was getting really expensive. This was a no brainer in getting costs under control. I’ve done the same for the other chemicals I use on a regular basis (oxidizer and descaler). It seems to work fine. (FYI – When the water gets cloudy, my retailer told me to use oxidizer, which Clorox also sells.)
