Easy to remove hair from brush. It actually works. I like the ejector style brush, and while it doesn’t quite produce the neat, thick pad of hair shown, it does eject the hair well when you’ve covered the whole brush surface. My cat also seemed to like the feel of the brush and allowed me to use it on her for quite awhile, even pulling out some mats, which it did a decent job with. She hasn’t been as cooperative with other brushes, so that’s a big plus.
Best brush for cats with”sticky” fur. We recently adopted a cat with long, sticky fur. You know, the kind of fur that if they walk outside at all, burrs, brambles, and yard debris just magically are attracted to it, and get embedded. It mats easily. To top it all off, the cat is traumatized, because she was full of mats and tangles in this long, sticky for causing pain when she was brushed. Enter this clever little brush… Somehow, it manages to snag every little burr and bramble from her fur, and remove it without too much drama. The tines have little cushions on them, which means that they don’t scrape her skin. I cannot believe it, but she actually enjoys, and asks to be brushed now! Which means, it’s easy to stay on top of the burrs and brambles because every night she gets a quick brushing. 5 to 10 swipes is all it takes, and her fur is clear and free of tangles.As a bonus, the handle and cleaning knob are the perfect shape for her to playfully bite while she’s being brushed.I’ll never be without this brush again!
Good brush. The media could not be loaded. My cat really enjoyed this brush and it was able to get a good amount of hair in just a couple of minutes! The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because it came with some bristles bent out of shape. This did not seem to change the outcome of the brushing, but I can see how this may be an issue in the future. The brush is easy to hold, but you do have to push the button on the back of the brush evenly to get all of the hair out.
Good idea but…. I LIKED THE IDEA OF THIS BRUSH BUT MY CAT IS SMALL/tiny. This is a full size brush. Just too big for her needs.With that in mind, it’s a good brush.
The Perfect Pet Brush. I normally use a flea comb to remove the loose hairs from my cat; however, when I happened upon this self-cleaning slicker brush, it piqued my interest. Since my cat likes the metal tines of the flea comb, I figured she would like this brush since it’s metal as well. And the self-cleaning feature intrigued me. Well, my cat absolutely loves it, and the hair collection feature of this brush is much more practical that using a flea comb, where I had to stop and remove the hair build up in the comb during the brushing process. My cat is short-haired, and I capture so much hair. I can’t imagine how much you could collect from a long-haired cat. I can now comb my cat for quite a long time before I have to eliminate the hair from the brush. And the removal process is just a matter of depressing the knob on the back of the comb. No more fly away hairs! Love it.The brush design is indeed ergonomic. Very easy to brush from any angle. I can move it forward or backward and there is no discomfort or any need for repositioning my hand when I change the angle. My cat just lays there in ecstasy. She’s happy and I am happy. A great buy!
