Good. What I liked about this product was that it had good ingredients and soothing elements. I liked the no fragrance as that can sometimes irritate the skin. My dog had been so very itchy from the weather and I felt so bad for her. I gave her a bath once with this so far and it didn’t cure the itching in total BUT it definitely relieved the constant itching so I was happy. It’s not a one and done use, I plan to keep using for the rest of the summer to keep the itching less.
Important to leave shampoo on the required time, add water and shampoo, to rinse very thoroughly. My American Pit Bull Mix had a heat rash and yeast itch. Our vet recommended a special shampoo for the itching and rash. After using it as directed, our pups itching was worse than before. We tried it again and and found it did not produce the desired results. After reading the reviews for Burt’s Bees for Pets Itch Soothing Shampoo with Honeysuckle, I ordered a bottle to try. After the first application his itching was reduced by about 60%. A week later and a second treatment,, he was still scratching but about 80% less. It’s true that you have to use a considerable amount each time but for our pup its worth it. His coat is clean and very smooth. I found that leaving the shampoo on for the required time is important . I also found the first time we used this shampoo, we apparently didn’t rinse long enough to remove all the shampoo so his coat appeared oily. We ended up re-rinsing which made quite a difference. I would recommend this product as it has produced the results we were looking for.
This actually works. My 15 yr old Pomeranian developed an itch on his back and side. Allergies are bad in my area along with air quality issues which affect skin. We tried different shampoos and nothing helped him. I know of Burt Bees reputation and though5 I would try it. Well, we gave him a bath in it the same day it arrived. Didn’t give him any Benadryl or any cremes or sprays. I wanted to test Burt Bees to see if it actually works. For the first time in weeks, he slept sound all night without an itch. The only thing is this shampoo doesn’t lather up like others, but IT WORKS. Now I don’t know if it will help your dog, I guess it depends what is causing the itch, but in my best friend Levi’s case, it helped. I would recommend investing 7.50 to try it. Now we’re going to use it on our Jackabee, who’s name is Honeybee. If this helps her, I will be ordering a larger bottle soon, but either way, Levi will be using it for the rest of his life.
Good, but already diluted, so not as much as you think. This shampoo is ok, but I’m used to concentrate shampoo. I tend to use more if it is already diluted. So that 32 oz. doesn’t last very long. It has a very faint scent. I thought it would have more of the honeysuckle smell. I’m used to a big, fresh scent. I like my pups to smell fresh. Thought I would give this a try, it was a good price, but it ought to say ready to use on it. I like Burt’s bees products. Maybe I’ll try to find one that isn’t diluted.
Soothing Relief. Miniature Yorkie got itchy and irritated from being out in the yard. Would scratch forever. This provided instant relief. She didn’t mind the application and didn’t try to lick or rub it off. The formula wasn’t sticky. Didn’t stain anything. Was very helpful.
Burt’s Bees for itchy scratching dogs. Burt’s Bees is incredible! My poor Maltipoo was itching so bad, so I tried several things to help her. This was the best all natural and best smelling spray for her scratching. It worked very well for her itchy skin and didn’t mind me spraying it on her. It seemed to soothe her quite a bit. It’s also a very good price for the quality and size.
Does the job with no harm to pets. Our sheltie has allergies and twice a year will lick or chew the same spot on his leg. I wanted to purchase something with little to no odor, that wouldn’t burn my pet, and that wasn’t vet-expensive. I have tried other products, and if my dog saw me holding the bottle, he’d run. So obviously, those products would burn. I can, with peace of mind, use this product without chasing my dog through the house. Just a few spays to the area & instantly, no more scratching!
Works wonders. I’ve used this on myself not my dog. It relieves the itch from bug bites and is in a spray instead of a cream which I love.

So I used this on my frenchies coat and noticed it does work it stopped his itching almost instantly but after about 15-20 minutes the itching persists. So in that case I don’t recommend this spray on severe cases of itching. Also not a fan of the scent. Good product but not for all cases of itching.

My dog stopped itching and nice smell. This stuff worked excellent on my German Shepherd’s coat! She has dry skin and she was scratching a lot. This solved that problem! It made her coat so soft and shiny too! Highly recommend!

This seemed to help with my pups itchy winter coat. I noticed my dog scratching (something she rarely does) so I purchased this to help with her itchy winter skin and after two uses I definitely saw an improvement. I would recommend this item. I’ve always been a fan of Burt’s Bees products. Never a bad experience with any of their products.
It really works. Simple as that. It really works. I have a small beagle. Scratching has gone away, leaves her hair and skin soft. I spray her once a week. She really looks forward to it. Happy dogger.

heat spots. tried on heat spots for a senior maltese and didnt seem to effective for long. Still licking and discomfort. smells nice and fresh
Definitely recommended for skin health. light fresh smell, very minimal that makes me happy and does not irritate my very fussy furboy. Its definitely help to moisturize both my furkids well, as I iwipe them almost daily with ice water+a dash of their shampoo during these hot weather, and with the spray, they do not itch from dry skin.
D. Best thing I’ve bought my puppy besides her shampoo. I use this every time I wash her and she does not itch at all. It leaves a shine on her coat and I brush her afterwards. Great product!
Love this product. Totally worked on both of my peds!! Just make sure they’re not scratching bc of something you’re feeding them! As the winter set in, both dogs would itch like crazy. Couple sprays of this & massaging it in…they stopped itching immediately
Works well; smells fantastic. I’ve used probably close to ten bottles of this as my dog is now almost 14 and I use it every time I brush him. It helps soothe his dandruff and itchy areas as well as keeps his hair from getting all staticky when I brush. Plus it smells great but not too strong. Doggo doesn’t mind it being sprayed right on his head. No sneezing!

Love this Burt’s Bees. This dog itch spray is fantastic! I have been using this on my older Lab for a long time as he has summer allergies and I used to have to get medicine from the Vet…no more, this spray works so well on his paws, no more redness or itching!I also us this on my two younger Labs that hunt each fall as they get so many sores from weeds and such and it is easy to spray on, no pain to the dogs, very soothing….no stinging!
