Called my mother to tell her I’ve fallen in love. After reading about this product in Consumer Reports, the price went up dramatically and I was very disappointed. I’ve had it in my cart for a little over a year. The company refused to provide any coupons when I reached out which tells me, similar to Sonos and unlike Dyson, this is a company of integrity that firmly stands behind the price and quality of their product. I’m very happy it was on sale for Prime Day because I finally purchased one! Well worth the wait! I was very disappointed in my Dyson filter so I recently repackaged and sold it on eBay. True story.The brown outer box arrived with some damage and I’ll be honest – my expectations were very low. I thought this would be a cheap product of poor quality with likely dents and damages already due to poor packaging. To my surprise, the actual product box inside the tight brown box was unscathed. The unboxing experience was truly one to remember. The box had a clear beautiful design printed with product features and instructions. Inside, the product was perfectly tightly wrapped in plastic with further styrofoam protection. 3 layersguarded the product like it’s the most valuable air filter you’ve ever purchased. It is and it truly operates as such. Easily slip on the beautiful elegant cover and the gorgeous design really pops. The top is a matte thick durable plastic featuring a glossy similar thick plastic around the sides. The smell of new like a brand new car is very pleasing to my nostrils. The clips easily open to lift the top. The filter is very high quality construction and my favorite part must be the large curved fan blades inside. On high, the filter literally pushes colder air than my air conditioner from the top and the noise is a very low soft soothing white noise sound. I can feel the air being pulled in from the bathroom!This product is remarkable. I’ve noticed the room smells better walking in from other rooms and it’s easier to breathe. A Sophisticated (and QUIET) Air Filter. I am reviewing the BlueAir 211i Max and 411i Max series in this review as I bought both – one for living room and one for bedroom. Bottom line, these are very impressive units and for the price I am impressed and pleased with each for functionality and effectiveness.Pros for the BlueAir series. very very quiet. On auto maintenance mode – you can’t hear the thing. These are smart machines. You can monitor every aspect of your air quality through the app. You can adjust the control lights from off to bright. It tracks months of air quality data for the room it is in by month, week, day. You can adjust from sleep mode, auto, and 3 fan speeds using the app remotely. It tells you how much filter life is left. It tells you the outside air quality and compares to your inside.Example of its effectiveness; I was sautéing some Italian sausage and onions, the unit detected the particles and immediately went into high mode for about 5 minutes until all the odor was eliminated and then went back to silent. The front LED bar changes from Blue to Green, orange and red depending on the air quality while at the same time adjusting the fan speed to address the corresponding level of air quality indicated. Same thing happened when smoking some meat on the back patio. I left the door open to bring in the food, the unit detected the smoke and the front LED went red. After closing the door, it ran on high mode until the LED indicators began to regress back to blue and the fan speed decreasing accordingly until all the smoke odor was eliminated from the room.Cons for the BlueAir product. It is a bit pricier than other options – but for all the differences – so far, I feel the Blue Air product is definitely worth the price difference, for me at least.What I have not addressed: the longivity of the products; the life of the filter; ease of maintaining; Both of my purchases are within the first month;
Great little air purifier. I like that it’s portable and very lightweight and seems to do the job. You can put it on a number of speeds and quiet to me. Great that I can move it from room to room. Would definitely recommend. I live in an apartment that has a musty smell in the bathroom and kitchen and it seems to have helped that. I leave it on all the time. Thankfully I’ll be out of here soon but while I’m still here I wanted something to keep me from getting sick.
