I’ve taken care of all different breeds of dogs.Most owners do leave me a supply of bags, but even then, these are the ones I wanna use when I take Fido or Fluffy out for a stroll or out in the backyard. The tape on the rolls doesn’t ruin the first bag. It doesn’t matter if I have to pick up a tiny nugget from a Yorkie or a big steaming pile from a Great Dane, these bags can handle it. The baby powder smell is nice, even if it occasionally gets overwhelmed by a “deposit”.But most of all….never had one of these fail to do the job. Some bags out there are incredibly flimsy, and the first bag always rips apart when you start the roll. (That….doesn’t inspire confidence when a dog has left you with a real stinker. Even double bagging your hand to pick it up is a little scary with those poop bags.). These are solid and ready to tackle even the worst piles.I even use them around my home if there is something gross I need to scoop up and dispose of.Choose whatever scent you wish, but definitely choose these bags. They are well worth the money!

Best Poop Bags. …and I am not getting paid to write this. I volunteer at a local dog shelter and use about two+ rolls every day. They cost about 1/3 of the poop bags I used to buy. So that brand was out of stock, but I needed some right away. Of course I was skeptical because of the price, but these are WAY better then the ones I bought previously. Definitely my go to poop bags from now on.

Similar to older quality bags. Some reviews said quality of these bags has suffered lately but so far the first roll is heavy duty, sealed in the right places and large enough for my hand and 70 lb dogs messes. As described by another reviewer, the lavender scent smells like chemicals not lavender, but is not overpowering. A good replacement for similar bags I bought 10 years ago and much thicker than my emergency dollar store rolls.

Work well and are very economical. These bags are great. We can use them to pick up more than one “gift” our dog leaves. They are sturdy and easy to open. I love the price per bag. I don’t feel guilty using as many as I need! They are so much more economical than any other bag I’ve used. I like that they have an unscented option as I am allergic to many scents. These are perfect for the job!

Good, not great. The material was sturdy and it wasn’t difficult to rip off or separate the sheet. BUT, the scent is weak and it didn’t have the warning that you are almost out, which I like a lot

Couple of better features than other brands. UPDATE: I’m not sure how many rolls I’ve used so far, but shortly after I wrote this review, I found a few bags in my roll which were sealed on the opposite side of the “open end”. That wasn’t a big deal except when I was surprised by my dog on a walk & I needed one which caused a lot of fuss on my part when I couldn’t open the bag. After finding a few bags sealed on the wrong end, I ended up with a bag sealed on both ends so it couldn’t be opened. After that bag, all of the bags righted themselves & they opened correctly. I’m not sure if this is going to happen again. I took away a star for the aggravation prior to discovering what was wrong with my bags, but this wouldn’t deter me from buying the bags again as long as it doesn’t become a frequent occurrence.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I retired recently so instead of 1 dog walk a day, I’m now walking 3 times per day. I’ve always used plastic shopping bags that are free, but my cats & their litter boxes have to share so with 3 dog walks a day, I needed more bags. Amazon Basics was the 2nd set of bags I purchased and this is what I noticed…First, the price was competitive at 2 cents per bag.Secondly, the spot to rip the bag from the roll has a white stripe. When it’s dark outside, it can be difficult to see where to pull & rip. This white stripe is much easier to see than a “lack of print” to show were the perforation may be on other branded bags.Thirdly, the bags seem to slide open more easily between your fingers, even when it’s cold. I seem to have a heck of a time opening plastic bags.Finally, the bags seem to spin in the opener a lot more easily than my other branded bags when it’s time to pull a bag out. I have no idea what makes them spin more freely as I didn’t actually use the holder from Amazon yet since my other brand’s holder still works fine. Regardless, it’s nice.In the end, the bags do what they need to do to dispose of your dog’s waste politely, but I appreciate the “extra” features on these bags.
