  1. Acumobility vs Chirp. I’ve held off on writing a review, but I can confidently say this is a great purchase. There are similar back roller wheels made by Chirp, so for those on the fence, I hope this review helps. To detail the differences, this Acumobility wheel comes in one diameter, but it is much wider than the wheels made by Chirp. The foam on this is also more firm/rigid, but I don’t think that is a bad thing. The foam on the Chirp wheels is soft and squishy, which I am guessing is aimed at being more comfortable. As for using this wheel, the first time I used it, it was moderately painful. I’ve had plenty of issues with my back, from sports injuries to cancer treatments, and I could only tolerate less than a minute on this the first day. Fear not!! The painful experience went away quickly, and using this wheel got easier every day.The big advantage with this wheel is its width. I feel exponentially more secure on this than the Chirp wheels. The wide base never makes me feel like I might slip off, and the wider surface area gives good pressure to more area on my back. The round nubs seem to massage the muscles and tissue around the spine, which helps my back feel better more than simply trying to get it to crack. This wheel is also strong! I’m not a small guy. I’m 6’2, and I’m currently around 275 lbs. This wheel doesn’t even give the slightest hint that it isn’t strong enough. The plastic base is extremely sturdy, and the outer foam/rubber material also seems very durable. For comparison, the plastic on the wheels by Chirp seems flimsy, as does there foam coating. I am not surprised reading their reviews saying people have been breaking their Chirp wheels. The advantage of Chirp is the different sizes. You can swap out one size for another to try to target the rolling to hit your problematic spot better. That said, I do feel this wheel by Acumobility falls into a “Goldilocks zone”, where the one size seems to work for most of my problems. While this works for me, I can see how the flexibility of different sizes might appeal to others. I like that there aren’t extra wheels to store with this product. If the price was equal between this and the set of 4 Chirp wheels, I’d buy this Acumobility wheel over Chirp every time. It feels better on my back, it’s a more sturdy product to use, and I feel it will last me a long time. I’ve been using it for about a year, so I’m not basing this on a small sample size of time. This is also cheaper than the set of 3 or 4 wheels by Chirp, which also makes this a better value. I definitely recommend this if you have back issues.

  3. It hurts so good. I didn’t find Jesus (already found Him before) but it did take my to the pearly gates of heaven. The other reviewer had me laughing……great review if you can find it. The product is sturdy and well made. It does hurt some but that is the deep tissue part of the wheel. I was finally able to get tension and align the middle part of my back in between the shoulder blades. My kids are tired of having to walk on my back to help pop and release some tension and pain. I’m a heavy dude, so there was good deep work done. It did leave round red imprints on my back, but that went away in about an hour. I felt loose and pain free right after using it. The 1st day I used it about 3 times and approximately 20 minutes each time. Like the rice Krispy cereal, my back was a Snap, Crakle, and PoP concert. Hurt so good was the main song I was singing. I didn’t have problems using it. It didn’t go to the side or fall over. Both my kids used it too. They said the same. They cracked their own backs, felt slight discomfort but felt great afterwards. My daughter (14 years old) also worked out a knot on her hamstring. She has been sore from playing softball. 1st time being in sports. Same with my son who is 13 years old. He used it on his arms and back. They didn’t have any marks on them. They are also feather weights and don’t weigh anything at all. After use, I use my back massage to finish turning me into soft butter. So far so good. I have more mobility from stretching the back out and less pain and tension than before. After each use, I get less back cracking and pops. It’s only been 3 days of use, and so far so good. I’m not getting the marks on my back as much as the 1st day.In conclusion, yes it hurts…but it is the good kind. For me it wasn’t terrible. After using it, I feel like Tony the Tiger……GREEEEEEEAT! I didn’t re-find Jesus but I met St Peter at the gates. I also sound like a montage of 1980 cereals. I thank the lord for finding this torturous ring of Lucky charms. If using it on the floor is too much, then try it on the wall as your can ease into the use of this contraption. There’re videos that you can look up on YouTube and on the reviews on here on many ways to use it. I’ll update this review if anything else comes up.***UPDATE**** 3-27-22It’s been a week and everything is still good. No longer does my back hurt (hurt so good part) when using it. It feels normal. I have been more “loose” throughout the day. When I get home from work, I look forward to using it. 5 minutes is all I use it for. My back still pops but not as it did at first. So far so good and I keep on loving it and my do Kids too. Tip….do not hold your breath. Remember to breathe throughout. Exhaling is key to relaxing and getting your back to pop and getting a great stretch. Holding your breath makes it hurt more or prevents from stretching and popping your back.

  5. Amazon Customer June 10, 2022 at 12:00 am

I bought this because I was experiencing lower back pain, not only is it sturdy, but it also works perfectly. The bumps on the roller are firm enough to really get into your muscles, but not too firm that it hurts. It also works really well at cracking my back. I would definitely recommend this product. I was hesitant about ordering this at first because of the price… it’s literally just a simple tube type thing with foam bumps, but it is totally worth the money to be pain free!

  7. Sturdy roller, but not the one for me. I had this roller for about a month and just returned it because, while it was a good roller, it couldn’t do what I needed it to do. To begin, this roller is very VERY large and super sturdy; I would pay money to see someone try and break this thing just by rolling on it. The bumps are big but are not too firm and definitely beginner friendly, and that leads me to the drawbacks that led to me returning it.- This roller is less for tissue massaging and more for flexibility- It is not wide enough, I found myself slipping off of it while trying to roll all the way from my shoulders to my lower backNo other roller combines a yoga ball and a roller quite like this one and for the innovation and execution alone I have to give it 4 stars, but it just wasn’t quite a fit for me. Sorry Acumobility Back Roller, it’s not you, it’s me.

  8. Works for me. I was skeptical at first but after receiving it I used on hardwood floor then added a 3-mil thick polyurethane yoga mat 24″ x 68″ on the hardwood floor and both work great. I was going to get one of the stationary arches but I’m glad I got this now as it helps with trigger point pressure as well as manipulation of the spine with your body weight. Only issue; you have to be able to get up and down on the floor for best results however I believe you can use it against the wall.

  9. It works. This product is durable, well-made, and easy to use. It cracked my back (in a good way) on first use and always makes my back feel looser after use.The roller is wide and the rubber cushioned edge and four rows of raised bumps provide as much comfort as possible when rolling over a sensitive area.Combined with physical therapy and daily stretching, this roller has been one of my favorite home workout purchases.

  10. Pricey Option For Back Relief, but worth it. I purchased this while looking for a good back stretching solution. There are a lot out there that are not truly a good option for stretching… causing more issues than helping. I did a bunch of research and compared products and landed on this one.I noticed a few reviews saying the nodules were damaged/deflated but I did not encounter that. It is bulkier than some of the options (not a ‘convenient storage’ option of some on the market) out there but it is incredibly sturdy and help add pressure where it is needed. I love the stretch and the accompanying release after use.I would recommend this to anyone looking for a tension release, back stretching option.

  12. At first it hurts, but then heals. It’s very firm/hard and uncomfortable, especially if you weigh over 220 lbs. I was about to return thinking it made my back hurt more. But after a few days I noticed a healing effect. Then days that I really messed up my back at work, I used it and it really helped! I guess for starters, such as myself, the flat version without the bumps would have been a better option start off with first.

  14. If you have any back pain- BUY THIS PRODUCT. I bought this product back in July 2023- it is now mid November! I have been using this consistently for months now. I LOVE this product!! I have used a few back stretchers over the years- products where you can adjust the height. I always used the highest arch for that GOOD stretch- but sometimes there would be certain spots in my back I just couldn’t reach.I do NOT have that issue with this circular back stretcher. Because it rolls, you can move it to any part of your back- even the hard ti pop places. Shift your weight to press harder on your back and you’ll pop what you need. I love how adjustable this product is. If I need a break from stretching, I can easily move to give my back a break. But I’m also able to move all across my spine super easy- from my lower back to in between my shoulders. It feels sooo good!!For context- I travel a lot for my job. So I drive a lot. When I come home, sometimes I can truly feel how stiff my back is. I also used to have a lot of lower back pain, which is when I started to regularly stretch out my back. I used to stretch out my back maybe once a week or so- but with this new product I use it almost every day. It’s just so good and it feels great. I use it for about 10-15 min right before bed and it even helps get my body ready for sleep bc my muscles are so much more relaxed. If you’re trying to choose a back stretcher- but this one. It’s very sturdy, comfortable, extremely adjustable and it gets all the nooks and crannies of your back that some other back stretchers don’t get. Also if you sit down or drive a lot for work- back stretching is a must to prevent long term pain imo. And this is a great product to do that with!

  15. Many years later. I’m am not one to write a review but I really had to. I bought this many years ago and it’s a perfect product for me. It really helps my back and the bumps really get into the trouble spots. Also it still looks brand new even after daily use and traveling with me. My back and I really appreciate what you have made here. Many thanks.
