A Little Tight On The Top. Purchased the Hanes Essentials Men’s T-Shirt Pack in Black, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with my purchase. The pack comes with a set of classic black tees, and the quality is fantastic. The fabric feels soft and durable, and after a few washes, they still look brand new.However, I did notice a minor issue with the fit. The shirts are a bit tight at the top, especially around the shoulders and chest. As someone with a broader build, I found the snugness a little uncomfortable, especially during more active movements. It might be worth considering sizing up if you’re in between sizes or prefer a looser fit.Despite the fit issue, I still appreciate the overall design and style of these shirts. The crew neck is classic and versatile, making it suitable for casual wear or even for layering with other outfits. The black color looks sharp and doesn’t fade easily, maintaining its original richness.I was also pleased with how well these shirts retained their shape after several washes. They didn’t shrink, and the collar didn’t lose its structure, which is a problem I’ve encountered with some other brands.In terms of value for money, the Hanes Essentials Men’s T-Shirt Pack is undoubtedly worth it. You get a set of good-quality shirts at a reasonable price, and despite the slight fit issue, I would consider purchasing them again in the future. If Hanes could improve the fit at the top without compromising the rest of the shirt’s comfort, they would be perfect.
Rough on the skin. I used this to put logos in for us to cheer our fave basketball team. It’s ok because I had no other item to choose from, it’s the only pack of shirts that was available to be receieved within a day, but I won’t buy this right off the bat in a store because it is rough on the skin and tight on the neck.
Be advised, they’ll shrink. Pretty nice shirts for the money. I normally wear a 2X shirt that hangs loose. These are a bit more fitted.I stretch them before tossing in dryer.Would’ve returned for 3X but I figure I’m 30 pounds from rocking this look.I don’t want to be a 3X man.
Good shirt. T shirts like this always run small; knowing that I bought the medium for my 12 yr old daughter & they fit great with a bit of room to grow. Tie dyed them & they look great.
fits as expected, but longetivity not great. This a great shirt for it’s entry level. I use it for the gym all the time, but remember, it’s not a high quality shirt… it’s meant for specific purposes and shrinks easily and can fade fast too.. but for it’s value, can’t be beat!
Yes. This is a great T-shirt to wear every day of the week, especially if you want something comfy to go under your hoody or open-zip jacket. I would highly recommend using aluminum-free deodorant with these unless you enjoy showing off your permanent sweat stains.After a few washes, the very bottom of the shirt has begun to fold/curl up but it doesn’t bother me. Also, the shirt feels a little rougher from when I bought it: having the texture of a typical Carhart heavy-weight T-shirt but not as thick.I like that they are off-white so it doesn’t look like I’m wearing a white-undershirt when I take my hoodie off.
Runs a little tight (I’m a woman for reference). I can never find good black t-shirts in women’s sections that aren’t cinched beyond wearability, so I tried purchasing one of these. Overall, it’s a good fit, but for women, take into account that the chest area is tailored towards men (I’m a medium in women’s and chose a small in men’s) so if you want a tighter fit, do what I did, if not, buy the sse label size in men’s!
Comfortable and durable. I bought these for work since I have to wear black shirts everyday. They are comfortable and durable in the wash. Still retaining it’s color s after a couple of washes. I love these because I’m a big breastfed woman and they give my girls room the breathe without being tight since they are a man’s fit. They also don’t ride up to expose my stomach or lower back which i appreciate. Will continue to buy more.
THE black Tee. HANES for the win. Black tees just do it all and I was so happy to find these. A+ quality, perfect thickness, great fit. I bought about 36 of these for everyday wear. Always look clean and classic in sunny South Florida.I wonder why I spent so much darn money in past years for brands that felt cheap and did not last. Nice shirts. The crew neck cotton T’s are comfortable to wear. The sizing is correct, if not slightly larger than stated size. I’ve worn and washed them about 3 times now, and they seem to be holding up well. The neck has maintained size and shape.These are quality shirts – a good value.
Perfect Everyday Tees – Comfortable, Durable, and Great Value. I recently purchased the Hanes Men’s Short Sleeve T-Shirt Pack (Essentials Crewneck Cotton T-Shirt, 4-pack), and I’m genuinely impressed. The cotton feels soft and breathable, perfect for all-day comfort, especially during warmer days. The fit is true to size, and the shirts keep their shape well even after multiple washes, which is a huge plus. They don’t shrink or lose color either, which has always been an issue with other brands I’ve tried. These tees are also super versatile—they work well as undershirts or on their own.One thing to note: if you like a roomier fit, you might want to size up, but for me, the regular size was spot on.
Loved the first 4 I had, ended up buying 4 more after a while. By far some of the most comfortable shirts I own, to the point where I specifically look for the materials it’s made out of whenever I buy more shirts or hoodies. I end up buying a size larger because they do tend to shrink a tiny bit in the wash, but still absolutely worth it. My only complaint is probably when I wear it overnight the collar gets stretched out and so it looks more loose around the neck than it normally is.
Well made but not very soft. These are made well and fit well. The material has a somewhat harsh abrasive feel although they are not itchy to wear.
The best of the three brands I’ve tried. I’ve purchased 100% cotton, black crew-neck T-shirts from Hanes, Gildan, and Fruit of the Loom. (I’m going through a minimalist phase right now).Of the three, I like these the best. The others are thinner and softer, so my nipples are less visibly erect in these than the other two brands. After three washings, the necks are still as well-shaped as when they arrived.I am wearing these tucked in with slacks and sports jackets. I think they look great that way, for $5 or so per shirt, compared to $30-$45 designer shirts.The sleeve lengths are great, the shirts shrank the perfect amount for me (I’m between an XL and L, so order XLs and hope they’ll shrink), and are sturdy.The one thing I’d prefer is if they were labelless. They say in the description they are no label, but I’ve ordered a four-pack and a six-pack and they have labels. You can rip them off, but then I have sometimes discovered I’ve put them on backwards (back in the front), so now I’m leaving the labels on.Great value.
We keep buying these. We keep purchasing these t-shirts since we believe they are the best due to optimal size, comfort, the neckline and sturdiness. Overall it is great product and good value for the money.
Good t-shirts. I got these for my husband, as his old Hanes shirts were in dire need of replacement. Great value for the amount of shirts you get. They’re Hanes, so if you’re expecting buttery soft fabric, this is not it. However, if you are looking for a reasonably sturdy, soft-ish t-shirt to wear as a casual thing or as an undershirt, this is a great option when you’re on a budget. I don’t remember if his came in tagless or if he had the tearaway tags, so I can’t speak on that. As far as shrinkage went, it’s 100% cotton and it doesn’t mention being preshrunk, so it did shrink somewhat. It’s not a deal breaker or an issue, as it still fit him fine. The material is otherwise sturdy and breathable. The color has faded over time, but despite its hundreds of wash and dry cycles they seem to hold up.It’s a t-shirt, a “you get what you pay for” deal. They’re good, they’re not miracle workers. I bought these for him in 2022 and they’re still around.

Pretty nice shirts for the price. These are comfortable and pretty nice basic shirts. They do fit well but i wish they were a little bit longer. However for the price they are good shirts that are pretty durable and not too thick or thin.
