Miracle stuff for my 16 thousand gallon pebble tec pool. First off, I started having horrible cloudy yellow algae filled water. I basically went out and bought new cartridge filters because I couldn’t get it cleared up. I really didn’t need new filters but I was desperate.It was around mid april in texas and we were getting tons of wind and rain and it seemed no matter how much I vacuumed the pool I couldn’t get rid of the cloudy green water. I could barely see the drains quite honestly. The water looked horrible and I felt hopeless.I had my chemistry in order, but did have higher phosphates than usual at about 750. This was one of those times where shocking wasn’t doing anything and I was getting very upset. I NEVER used algaecide in the past because many pool people say it’s a waste of money, but in my case it wasn’t.I know there is an argument that a phosphate killer is the way to go but I decided to try the clorox product and I’m super happy I did. I poured about half the bottle into the edges of my pool and swept the side walls and throughout the day swept the debris the best I could to the drains. I also put 2 pounds of granular home depot max blue granular shock in the skimmer without the basket.What shocked me was hen I woke up the next day the pool was the blueist it’s ever been and was nearly 100% clear! Even my wife was amazed and couldn’t believe how beautiful the water looked. I think for a long time I’ve suffered with yellow algae but have kind of kept it at bay but I’ve always had dingy greenish water that wasn’t that blue. I think what the clorox product did for me was show me that I desperately needed an algaecide in my pool and it was starving for it. It wiped the algae clean out and now I’m proud of how my pool looks for the first time in a long time. I actually think that this product could potentially save me money in shock if I use it as a preventive.Don’t listen to the negative reviews on this stuff, I would venture to guess that many of the people complaining aren’t using it properly. You have to have a well balanced pool, with clean filtration and some good shock if you’re pool is out of hand. Mine went from embarrassing to magical over night with just a little work.Also I got ZERO foaming! I know some people do, but I didn’t. One tip, before you put it in or shock your pool, make sure you sweet the side walls of your pool first to get the algae loose so it’s floating all around in your pool.. This is what helped my situation. I also bought some flocculant thinking I may need it to clump the particles so I could vacuum but somehow the clorox product and a little sweeping completely did the trick on my ugly yellow cloudy water. Thanks Clorox!
Worked amazing. Pool water was super green, poured this stuff in and ran the pump. Next say all the gunk was at the bottom to be vacuumed and the water was clear! None of it got stuck in the filter so I didn’t have to clean it out either.
Keeps my pool algae free. this is the only algaecide that keeps my pool clear and algae free! I love this stuff and its not expensive a little goes a long way! I have tried other more expensive products but this one is affordable and works! I live in TX and we are having 107 heat and normally age is a problem in the heat but this is the only product that keeps my pool clean and a lot less work for me! All I can say if your on the fence about it BUY IT!
Just what I needed. I tried everything to to the green algae out of my pool and it would just keep coming. I got this put it in waited a day and it was all gone. I vacuumed with a sock & pool balls in vacuum to catch the smaller dead algae. It’s now been a month and no algae has returned. If ur thinking of buying just do it.!
Works great, when shock didn’t kill the algae. We had a persistent algae problem in our above ground pool, so decided to try this.1/4 bottle in our 5000 gallon pool killed the algae in a day. Very pleased, would recommend.

TikTok made me buy it. I always struggle with keeping our above ground pool from turning green. I was watching multiple TikTok videos about this stuff & decided to try it. Let me say this it exceeded my expectations. My pool stayed clear & beautiful all summer!!! Great value for the money. I will invest in the larger bottle next summer for sure. Easy to use. Just poor a little into the poll while you clean it. Wait 15 minutes & go swim! No green mildew or gross stuff growing in the pool. It’s HOT AF where I live so this made life easier!
Works well. A little pricey. This is pretty effective at maintaining a clear pool. But I feel like all the chemicals have gone up way too much.
this pool alga was alot better and stronger in smell and color then the larger size. is works great in a 15×28 pool the amount it says or a little more. was very happy less colorine less chlorine smell. bigger was not better.

Every time I use this to clean my pool to prevent algae it did when I need to do because I did not have any algae throughout the whole time we had our pool up for Summer. It was really easy to use. The instructions were very very clear and it worked really fast so we were able to jump into our pool after a few hours of letting it filter. It’s definitely a must if you’re a pool owner, it’s beginner friendly.

Keeps algae under control. I use this at least once a week to keep the algae under control in my pool. It was a good value for the price. My pool has never looked so good.
It worked. Used this to get my pool into winter. Can not close my pool until the water gets in the 60’s so when I ran out of chemical I used all summer I got a bottle of this algaecide to keep my pool clean until I winterized it. It worked, when the algae showed up I dumped about half the bottle in and vacuumed it the next day no more algae for a week or so before I would do it again.
