It works to reduce redness and plaque. We have used this on our Border collie for a few years now (our previous BC had terrible tartar build up). It makes a visible difference on gum redness and plaque. It has not totally eliminated tartar build up BUT I don’t add the recommended amount. I just splash a bit in her bowl. I would give this 5 stars except it is quite expensive for what it is. Our dog has never had a problem with it and drinks freely of the water despite having multiple water sources to choose from. I can tell if we have forgotten to give it (like when we moved and got out of the habit for a couple of weeks). I truly believe it helps if your pet tolerates it.
After 45 days of use, I think it proves to be worth the money. 8/10. The media could not be loaded. I bought this for our almost 14 year old Yorkie. Usually we keep MOST of his teeth in good shape by brushing, however on the backside of his teeth he just wont tolerate a toothbrush. So there is always an issue with tarter build up closest to the tongue. Even though our veterinarian says it’s not much to worry about, it’s still bothers me that tarter remains.I’ve used Proden’s plaque off in the past with no luck which had really good reviews so I that destroyed my confidence in products that claim to remove tarter since then, but…Petlab, after 45 days of use, I feel that the front side of his teeth is visibly cleaner looking, The inside of his teeth is cleaner looking in certain spots but there is still some tarter that doesn’t look affected. Maybe it needs more time. But for what this is I’d say it’s a 8/10, or a 4/5 here on Amazon.Hope this helps someone!
Dental formula is working. I was skeptical at first, but it’s been over a month and my dogs breath is much better!! Very easy to use! I just wish I had taken a picture of their teeth before starting!!
So helpful. I have a pup that was rescued from a puppy mill so her teeth are unfortunate :(Before putting her through the trauma of a vet cleaning I wanted to try this product. I’ve been adding it to her water for about two weeks now and It realllly seems to be helping.I’ve also been doing just light scraping of her teeth with a dental tool every couple days but some of the plaque seems to just flake off with barely any effort after using this product.
Amazing. I wish I would have taken pictures. Since we moved to a house on a well their teeth have gotten horrible! I didn’t think that the fluoride in the water here in the US made a difference but IT DOES! Anyways after one full bottle their teeth are night and day better! I think one more bottle and there shouldn’t be any black/plaque.Very happy with this product!
