Great and comfortable but seems to damage easily. I’ve been using it a few times since I bought it. It’s my first mat. I’m trying to do yoga to lose weight.I am a larger woman around 298lbs give or take. So I am not doing super intense exercises, mostly beginner courses made for larger people. A few positions have caused damage to the mat. I’m not sure what it’s called but its when you make a mountain top with your body with your butt in the air- and then you go into a lunge. That one had my feet digging into the mat and the skin under my toes actually got hurt when I slid on the mat, trying to gently change my position into a lunge. It didn’t break the mat all the way though.While I am sure this was because of the weight I’m dealing with, I specifically bought this mat because it was meant for people who need more cushion like myself.I feel for anyone smaller than me, this would be the ideal yoga mat, however. So if you are not a larger person, definitely buy this mat. It’s great for first time use, otherwise! I recommend getting a yoga pillow though.
Extremely comfortable, extremely cheap. The moment I opened it, I could feel the excellent quality and thickness that provides the perfect balance of cushion and support. The textured, non-slip surface ensures that I can exercise without worrying about slipping or sliding around. Plus, the size is just right for me, giving me plenty of room to move and stretch comfortably.I did notice the carrier it came with digs into the mat a bit when rolled up, but it seems not to leave any lasting damage. The price is an absolute steal for the quality you’re getting, honestly feels better than a lululemon mat. It’s incredibly easy to clean and maintain, which is a huge bonus. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and affordable yoga mat!
Nice mat with a true half inch thickness. Arrived after 5 days, was excited to get it and start using it. One thing that’s important to remember is to make sure when using it that your toe nails are not super long. It will dig in to the mat roughing it up. Same goes for kids that will be playing around with it or your favorite 4 legged pet that’s doing yoga too. It will damage the mat. Other then that no issues with the mat, it stays in place if using it on hard floors. Stays unfolded just fine, it’s very supportive if you need to use it temporarily while your standing at your desk to get work done. All in all very happy with this mat as it serves many purposes for our family.
So soft and cushioning. My hips and knees thank me greatly for trading in my traditional yoga mat to this plush cushion. Now I can practice on my wood floors without pain. I do agree with other reviewers that it appears to take damage relatively easily. I have had it for a few weeks and I do see a few dings and dips in the material. But for the low price I didn’t really expect a forever product.
After eight months of use, still going. I’ve been very pleased with my purchase so far. I bought this mat as a beginner yoga student, and have used it regularly for 30 minutes a day, five days per week for a little over eight months. It is showing some wear, as shown in the photo, but this seems to be mainly cosmetic, where the elastic straps hold the mat closed. It is comfortable on my feet and provides a nice cushion for sitting poses and stability for standing poses using both feet. It may be a little too cushy for one legged poses, as the feet do sink into the mat somewhat. Overall, the only thing I would change is to make it just an inch or two wider, but that has not been enough of an issue to want to replace it.
I use it 6 days a week. I wasn’t expecting much from an exercise mat, but I really like this one. I use it 6 days a week.I like the fact that one side has ridges and one side doesn’t. I prefer to have the ridged side against my body, but you could do it the other way as well, especially if you were on a smooth or slippery floor.It is just the right thickness to give some support and cushion but not so much that you sink into it while trying to exercise. My husband just came in and used it for his workout as well!It didn’t have a smell that I could discern. My dog doesn’t seem interested in chewing on it!I like the strap on it that holds both sides with a single strap and could work as a carrying handle as well.It is a nicely made product.
LOVE IT. I really love my mat. It is so comfortable and convenient. I use it, roll it back up and put away. I like how thick it is. 1/2 inch may not seem like much but I’m a heavy person and the cushion is amazing! Really soft, just the right length too as I’m almost 6 ft and there’s still a bit to spare so my feet and hands never touch the floor. I’ll be ordering another one to keep in the car for when I’m out and about I can just place it anywhere and relax! I really like the black elastic band, how it holds it rolled up and is a handle at once then it just slips right off to unroll.
Thick comfortable mat for any floor. I have limited areas to workout. I wanted something to work out on, do my stretching, etc. I was laying blankets on the floor and had a cheap thin mat. I finally broke down and got this one and zero regrets. I will be buying another one for my workout area at home. I’m a bigger girl and thickness of this is wonderful. I can do sit ups, doesn’t hurt my knees or anything. I can toss this on a tile floor, ceramic tile etc and have no issues.Definitely recommend it.
Thick Mat, No Odor. I have ordered this mat to do my daily stretches, and I have been impressed by the quality. It is much thicker than I have expected and that adds a lot of cushion. The mat is a bit on the bulkier size when rolled up compared to other yoga mats I have owned, but I leave it in my place so its not a big deal for me. Also, rolling it up is easy, and I do not have any problem with it flatten out later.
Good Quality. I love this yoga mat. It is thick and provides a good cushion from the floor. I have used it during stretch routines and HIIT workouts. Doesn’t move at all when using it on hardwood and minimally moves when doing vigorous workouts on a carpeted floor. It’s easy to roll up and transport. Overall, a good buy. Would definitely recommend and buy again for myself.
