Better design than the factory. I thought I’d try these as I was never a fan of the OE clip at the of the other bags that would frequently burst open randomly and spew everything all over the pool. The velcro strip on here is solid and had no degradation noted after a few months of constant submersion. The first bag did break the ear off yesterday when reinstalling. I can’t say if it was a problem with the manufacturing or the fitment of the flapper valve. I never broke an ear on the OE bags, so I’m leaning toward the fact they may not be as durable as the OE one. Keep the seal on the flapper valve lubed and take your time and I don’t think it will be a problem.
Great price, good product with slight flaws. Price is great! “Ears” are weaker than original and can break when attaching to cleaner….collection area is too closed off from neck of the bag. I took a razor and gently cut the stitching on the inside. After a couple of stitches were removed, the rest came off easily. Now my bag is wide open and works and cleans much better!
Work well; Great Value. On par if not better than normal pool cleaner bags. The Velcro enclosure is very aggressive so it takes a few moments to empty the bag but it holds much more than the standard bags and appears to be be well made.
Better than the original. This shape of bag seems to work better, it’s easier to clean and the unit seems to clean the pool better and runs stronger.

Weird Stitching, could be better. First off, I do like the hose velcro and the bag velcro but there are the two issues I had, one worse than the other. First, I almost sent them back as I could not get them installed. Didn’t think it fit at first. But after checking measurements and eyeballing the situation it should work. I did get it on. It feels like its a millimeter or less too narrow of a diameter and it took a LOT of strength to get it to twist on. Perhaps it will loosen? The SECOND and the more frustrating part, if you look closely in the product image there is a stitch in the bag that makes the “bag” really a knit TUBE that easily gets full of leaves in seconds. There is an opening at top of the “tube” for the product to fill over into the “bag” part but that would only happen with fine silts and such. I basically had a 8″ tube that was clogged with leaves and very difficult to get emptied. Will use these till they break and not repurchase.
Bag holds up well, but the velcro doesn’t hold up. The bags work great, however the Velcro that they use is really bad. The first bag I bought, it lasted 6 months. I bought another one hoping for more than that, and now the Velcro is bad after 2 months! I guess I’ll need to find another brand that holds up better.
Works good, with a single issue. Worked well, only issue is the design does not allow the debris from the bottom of the pool to be placed fully into the bag where the discharge opening is located. it’s Fall, a lot of leaves sinking to the bottom of the pool. The Polaris hits the debris and sucks it into the opening, however there’s a sharp turn that does not allow the leaves to go into the debris section where the velcro opening is located. Worked great when little debris was present, I guess that’s the take away.
Decent bags for the $. I’ve ordered these a few times and they work well for a while but have to be replaced every couple of months as the Velcro doesn’t stick as well or the bag develops a hole. I’m sure these problems arise with more expensive bags so overall I’m pleased with how they perform.
