There is a lot of reasons I could probably download this to four or even 3.5 stars but I got to say ultimately for the price you’re paying you are getting a lot of awesome it’s cool it’s very cool and comparatively to other things in this price range you aren’t going to get much now I do have a few complaints a the screws are slightly too big and the driver they gave you to install them they got tore up the app in the packaging doesn’t actually link and it’s not a secure Android app I did get a contact with their people and they sent me a new link very quickly like within a half an hour at 9:00 at night so I’m very appreciative of that but ultimately it’s cool it’s so cool and worth every damn Penny even just the default graphics that come with it as soon as you get it going you’re like all right you know what I do think I have one blown LED in it but I am thoroughly satisfied and it’s totally worth every penny that I put into it and it’s cool it’s just so cool

Cheap, low res, spins dangerously fast, terrible app/instructions, but it works. You get what you pay for.The instruction manual tells you how to open the software, but not how to use it.Apparently the first step is to select the model in the dropdown menu at the top right. I got the 42cm model, which is model SD224, not that that’s listed anywhere. I just tried all the options til one worked.Then click on the icon next to file encode, select the file to encode, select the destination file, and your file will be displayed in a little window with a red circle to select what area to display.Once the red circle is where you want it, click the icon again to start encoding. Another little preview window will pop up, then it’ll go away and tell you it’s done.Copy the resulting .bat file to the micro-SD card, and I deleted the rest of the .bat files on the card to make sure it displayed mine. Put the card back in the display, power it up, and it should work.Mine fails to initialize occasionally. Just unplug the power, plug it back in, and it might work.So, once you figure it out, it’ll work for its one purpose – displaying a short video while making you fear for the safety of everyone in arm’s reach. I plan to make a plexiglass box around mine.

For IT Professionals ONLY. I purchased two of these fans thinking to hang them on a bare wall to bring some interest into an otherwise bland space. Once I received the fans the unboxing and initial setup was pretty simple. They come with a TF card preloaded with files that create holographic images of a dragon, butterfly, jellyfish, camera,etc. As they are from the factory the various images on the TF card are displayed one after the other. However, I did not purchase the two fans just to have a series of preloaded images be displayed overt and over. I wanted to be able to take my own images and have then displayed as a hologram.The instructions for converting an image into a file format which the fan can read and turn into a hologram are a joke. Partially in Chinese, the instructions are a jumble of confusion. I have a university degree, my brother has a Ph.D. and together we cannot determine the steps necessary to make the fans work as intended. Communication with the company in China gets a link to videos, again in Chinese, which must skip or omit critical steps because the image I have after following the instructions will not play as a hologram on the fan.I have spent at least 30 hours trying to get some use out of these fans but as of this review they are simply collecting dust on a closet shelf. My advice is unless you are extremely familiar with the file formats used by the fans, don’t waste your time or money. You really do not need yet another useless product collecting dust on a closet shelf. And if you just have to have one, send postage and I’ll give you one or both of mine. Love the idea of the hologram fans but hate the impossibility of executing it!

Amazing Device = Excellent Displays = Very Good Value = Good Customer Support. I had seen some TikTok and YouTube videos of these fan displays and wanted to try one so I ordered the 42 cm unit also a smaller one. They arrived soon, well packed, easy to set up, plug in power, start units then see the built in starter demonstrations.I got the App for my iPhone and started to learn how to use it. Then I tested a few brief videos and photos from my library. The App allows you to add custom content with ease. They looked very good on the HoloGramFan display.I emailed customer support with some questions and they were prompt to reply with answers and links to more content. The App software is good but can use some improvements. I still need to try their 5DDisplay program but it is only for Windows OS and I am using MacOS.The unit is very quiet and well made with state of the art surface mount electronic components. Be sure to order a separate floor stand for testing it. Use caution around the spinning “fan” blades rotating at 1800 RPM according to the specifications.The control App for iPhone and Android works okay but could use improvements in response time and guidance, as to using WiFi or Bluetooth. But it is usable as it is. I used it to test a brief video clip of one of my Neon Light Sculptures in the picture – my Neon Tombstone piece…I will probably order more units I like it very much.

The hologram projector is definitely worth the money. Nice effect. Contact with the seller was also easy and very accommodating.

Amazing Product – Highly Recommend. The media could not be loaded. I initially struggled with the settings and couldn’t get any Christmas videos to load onto the hologram. I was almost ready to give up, but customer service was incredibly prompt and helpful. They provided me with a personalized video that looks absolutely amazing! They also sent clear instructions and helpful links for downloading videos, which made everything much easier.I’m so glad I stuck with it because the product is fantastic – everyone at home loves it! The hologram is a big hit, and it adds such a unique touch to our holiday decor. I will definitely buy this product again in the future.

Nice unit. hologram fan looks great! new experience for me so have nothing to compare too currently. description was accurate. arrived two weeks ahead of scheduled delivery. instructions ok but very small font and difficult to read. loading own movies and pics not too clear and still working one that. overall its definitely worth the price and a great way to get into this type of thing. Will use on stage with band just for eye candy… something to draw attention. hope to get band logo into display.may update review once I get it figured out how to accomplish this. well worth the price and highly recommend. fun and looks really good.

Nifty. This is a cool little gadget that I’m glad that I have. Default clipart is neat, but being able to customize makes it even cooler! It’s a bit loud when operating, and don’t try and just turn it on without having it secured.. it’ll fly off the table.

Creating your designs takes time, and rendering the file in the proper resolution, pixel rate, and format requires patience and time. I do not have the time to dedicate to this. If you have the time and resources to learn new software and invest in a good Video creation tool, this is one of the best #D video fans I have found. Good Unit, could be slightly better. Item came as referenced. The item doesn’t include a stand, which would be nice. Also the cord is a bit short. It works as listed, only complaint is the unit is a bit loud.

Waste of time and money. Don’t bother….seriously, don’t bother. While my previous review was 5 star, here is the truth:I previously gave a 5 star review because MissYou essentially bribed me; giving a 5 star review got me a free protective fan casing; even the casing seems to be flimsy and is a pain to assemble.Don’t bother with this brand. It’s a toy compared to other companies more professional products.The app: Can you import your own images? Yes, but it took several tries of uploading before they would finally show up on the playable list, and even then you’re limited to what you can call the image.Under the Designs tab (which I couldn’t even scroll down on) there is an option to create a text sphere. No matter how many times I tried to convert and upload, it would NOT add to the playlist.Customer service: Is pretty much a joke. They don’t seem to have any actual knowledge of the product, they’re just reading off the screen. They’re headquartered in Japan, so they don’t want any phone calls because they fear the language barrier, which also means they have no other country representation.I don’t know if for some reason the product only works best in Asia or specifically Japan because that’s where the company is centralized, but this brand is seriously a waste.Save yourself frustration and headache, buy a better brand. They may be more expensive, but some have payment plans to be able to afford them.

Not Hard to Setup, Beautiful, but Fragile and moves under its own power. First of all, yes, you need an app outside the app store to run this. It is a security risk you need to decide on and somewhat counterintuitive.I ran this on a device I was comfortable with. It took me less than ten minutes to see and the picture was initially great, far beyond expectations.The problem is this. I see many people trying out the device on the floor. This is a bad idea.The base (called an “immobilizer” in the instructions) is not an immobilizer. I was planning to just set my device up in a utility area since my Tripod (ordered separately) won’t be here for a few days.What happened is that the unit begins jumping around from the force of the fan blade if not secured on a very sturdy tripod.It started moving towards the wall. I could tell it was going to collide so I reached quickly from beneath but as you cannot SEE the fan blade, not touching it is actually difficult when it starts moving under its own force.I touched it to stop it JUST AS it propelled itself into the wall. Several lights started blinking red as it stopped. (It also cut my hand but I can take responsibility for that. The problem is it was going to collide with the wall if I didn’t do anything!)Now, there is a ring of dead pixels in the middle middle, breaking up what was a good image!So for my review:1. Initial picture was excellent.2. I knew it isn’t safe to touch and should eventually be in a Tripod or mount and case. I just wanted to configure it on a table before my tripod arrived!3. The app and file management took a little thinking but I had my own videos working in under ten minutes.4. The problem is that all the advertising and reviews make it look like this is something safe to leave on its back for a few minutes while configuring and the instructions describe an immobilizer base THAT DOESN’T STOP THE UNIT from moving under its power and colliding with walls, objects, and hands. And once your unit is damaged this way, you can’t return it easily, your beautiful and bright pictures display badly, and the learning you did to customize the device is pointless.The image quality is beyond anything I’d hoped for. I wish I’d taken a picture of what it looked like when it first powered on. The learning process isn’t bad.But handling this as a new user without damaging it is something I don’t think you are prepared for. I thought I was. It is very hard not to touch something you can’t see. It is very hard to react the smartest and most sensible way when you see it propelling itself quickly into a wall.I can’t recommend based on this unfortunate experience. If you really want this, I’d say to not even plug it in just to configure or test without a sturdy tripod attached. If the manufacturer read this, PLEASE consider adjusting the design so that the immobilizer is heavier and actually IMMOBILIZES.It isn’t that my unfortunate experience wasn’t due to some lack of planning on my part. But I didn’t do anything I thought was unusual and things started happening faster than I could predict as a new user and with permanent loss of full functionality in less time than it took me to upload my first video.I would consider getting another device from another manufacturer like this now that I have a sense of it. It’s just that you can’t really anticipate what this will do or how fast in time to safeguard against permanent damage. It’s a mix of how unpredictable this is, how little warning you have of what the problems can be, and that a single collision of the blades permanently degrades picture. If it were sturdier, less unpredictable, or easier to plan how to use, I would probably give this 5 stars. The initial image took my breath away and it was exciting for the few seconds I got to see my own video. They probably shouldn’t even offer this without a basic tripod given how likely damage is without one.As an aside, it definitely looks to me like any bad pictures you see from this are the result of blade collisions killing pixels. Maybe people don’t want to admit they had one. I’m going to take the opposite approach and say that, yes, I had one but that it’s not even something a technically savvy person could anticipate or stop if they never handled a fan that spins so fast it’s invisible (you won’t be TRYING to touch it) and that moves around under its own power unless very secured.I wish I could review an intact unit knowing what I know and taking precautions. I rarely get upset about something enough to give 1 star reviews and I’m giving one here because it’s so close to being amazing that having it become flawed so quickly makes me more disappointed than if it had been consistently mediocre.If it were “just okay” and stayed that way, I’d give 3 stars. Because it was close to being a 5 star review just minutes out of the box and is now permanently flawed, that’s what causes me to give a 1 star review. I had something that was better than I thought I was buying, got excited, and lost that thing when it propelled itself at the wall! So my feelings are that they gave me something great and then took it away with poor design choices and instructions, which is worse than if it had come out of the box looking like it does now. I wouldn’t even know to expect better if it wasn’t so much better before the collision.
