Blue Torrent Brush (12 Inches, Yellow/White/Blue)

Surprising toilet-bowl-brush-like, but it just works. I would give this 4.5 stars because I think it would be better if the bristles were slightly stiffer, but I’m rounding it up to 5.This brush is super functional. I haven’t found anything else that works as well to get in the nooks and crannies of my rocks, around the steps, and along the wall where the radius is too small for flat brushes. The design is quite sturdy. It’s still holding up ok at the end of its first swim season — I wash it after each use and keep it in a shed. I probably won’t get more than 2 years out of it because my rockscaping is pretty rough on the bristles, but even at that, I am happy with the product. I haven’t had any issues with the bristles falling out.Before you purchase, know that this is a specialty brush, designed for hard-to-reach areas. The bristles create a lot of drag in the water, so you wouldn’t want to use if for regular bottom and wall brushing. If you have rockscaping that overhangs the walls like I do, this is pretty much the only brush I’ve found that lets me reach around and under the rocks from outside the pool.The bristles are similar to toilet bowl brush bristles, maybe slightly thicker, but not nearly as stiff as normal nylon pool brush bristles. I do like that they are more flexible and allow me to get in the crevices, but for heavier duty algae scrubbing, you’ll want to use something more robust. Consider this to be a preventative tool that makes it easier to scrub those normally neglected areas more frequently, to hopefully avoid the algae growth.

Looks goofy but fantastic tool. I bought this on a whim while ordering my standard 10 inch pool brush heads for my spa and steps. I’ve tried several “whims” over the years and finally was pleasantly surprised for the first time with this brush.I will go as far as to say this brush paid for itself on its first use. The bristles make good contact on rounded inside corners, and the brush head can be manipulated in different directions with ease. I have great difficulty angling the traditional style brushes and they don’t allow you to move in any direction … you have to precisely angle them to get the bristles to make good contact. And, traditional brush heads often make unwanted contact with the spine of the brush which can damage surfaces. This blue torrent brush allows me to do a much more thorough job much quicker with less acrobatics. Based on the time I saved on its first use, and my thoughts on my time’s value, I feel it paid for itself right there and then.Even if the durability is not great, I will still call it 5 stars. The only unknown for me is whether the bristles are appropriate for any pool surface, they seem stiffer than my other brushes.

Does what my other brushes can’t. I have one of the big, wide pool brushes for brushing the walls of the pool. It has angled ends that are supposed to help get into the corners of the stairs and such, but they barely work.I bought this brush to handle all those corners and crevices where dirt and stuff tends to collect, and it works great for that. I have only used it half a season so far, but it does the job well and is easy to use. I like the smaller 12″ size for weight and ease of maneuvering. The bristles easily get into the corners and clean all the gunk out.The only bad thing I can say about this brush is that it was a bit expensive. If it lasts for a few seasons, however, it will definitely have been worth the investment.

The Best Pool Brush. This quality pool brush is sturdy and very easy to use. Just hook it onto a long pole and brush the bottom and sides of pool. It works for above ground and in ground pools. What I like best is the round shape. It doesn’t matter what angle you are pushing at because there are bristles all the way around. There is nothing sharp to scratch or scrape the pool floor or walls. Highly recommend.

better than standard brush. This is much wider than the usual pool brush, so I can brush my pool faster, as each stroke covers a much bigger area. The curved ends do a good job cleaning corners. This is great for cleaning pool walls, when I am pushing down. Brushing the bottom of the pool is harder because of its size and weight; I feel a lot of resistance when pushing this across the bottom. For the bottom, a traditional brush is much easier to use.

Good product, good value. I bought this as a replacement for our pool brush. Snaps and really well and the design makes it easy to get onto our steps and into the corners. It’s a little wider than our old one which is also a bonus.

It gets into the corners. I have used this brush for about 6 months now, and it works beautifully. Gonna get another one soon!!!

Great brush terrible butterfly clip. The brush is so far the best brush I’ve ever used. Another review mentioned the butterfly clip that attaches it to the pole not working and I didn’t pay much attention to that. It’s worth purchasing but be prepared to use your own clip to attach it as the one it comes with does NOT work well. In fact I couldn’t get it to attach even ones. Love the brush and would buy again.

Work well but end came off after a few uses. Love the design and item works well for cleaning sides of pool. Only problem was towards end of season, on of the end round section broke off. Will likely purchase again

Great for Free Form Pool. I have a free form pool with no straight walls making it hard to clean tile line with regular brush. Just got this and it does a nice job, much easier than with a traditional brush. Seems well made.
