Works well, but some bad design decisions. This works well, but be aware, the battery powered remote version has no way to plug it in, so by ordering battery version you’re committed. Also, no on/off switch which compounds the problem.Another issue: the ringtone/volume adjustments are somewhat badly designed.There are two sets of buttons on the remote. The bottom one, an up/down switch, moves through a bunch of different ringtones, and the other one rotates through no volume to full volume, in 4 steps. Unfotunately, it is really easy to touch the ringtone toggle and switch ringtones. Seems like you’d want to set it once and then not mess with it, so having such an easy to press button for this function encourages constant accidental changes. The other, more problematic issue is that there is not much choice at the lower sound levels- you have silent, sort of loud, pretty loud, and very loud. it would be better if there were more than 4 volume options, and therefore more choice at the bottom end of the volume scale.That being said, it works well, and is very helpful, and I’ve found that if you keep the remote face down on a piece of fabric, it muffles the sound somewhat, making a slightly lower lowest volume.
Just what we needed. Great product. If you are taking care of an elderly person just what you need to let you know they are up and about.
Very handy, but hard to set up. We have it in the hallway to detect parents getting up at night and wandering. Also have it set up to sound alarm if we are outside during the day and they are in bed. Alarm is perfect, but it is very hard to set up to link to the detector. We eventually got it, and not sure what ended up getting it to work. The great aspect is that remote alarm can be carried around the house to where you are.
Safety. We bought this to alarm when my 4 year old grandson was getting out of bed at night then getting into trouble. It worked really well
Great for motion indication. I use this in a bathroom for a loved one that has some issues going potty and I MUST get up at night to help them. It’s easy to mount, range of motion detection is excellent and I can plug in the pager anywhere in the house; so far it’s worked when 30′-35′ away from the motion sensor.Read the directions for changing the tone and pairing between the sensor and pager. It’s easy but there are a few steps to ensure proper pairing.Only drawback is I wish it had at least two more lower volume settings.
