Convenient Pet Drying with Some Drawbacks. I recently purchased the Homerunpet Drybo Plus Automatic Pet Dryer for my cat, Pi-Dan, as well as my other three cats, Xin-xin, Wa-wa, and Hei-hei. While it serves its purpose and all my cats can use it, there are a few downsides to consider.The overall quality of the dryer is decent, providing adequate drying for my cats’ fur. However, one major drawback is the noise level, which can be quite bothersome. Additionally, the drying process takes longer than expected, which can be a bit inconvenient when trying to dry out the pets efficiently.Another issue I encountered is with the side windows lock, which proved to be not strong enough. My cat Pi-Dan managed to escape multiple times, causing some inconvenience and concern. It would be beneficial if the lock system were more secure to prevent such incidents.On the positive side, the dryer is suitable for multiple pets, accommodating both cats and small dogs. It is user-friendly and easy to operate, making the drying process straightforward.In conclusion, it’s a decent product and serve the purpose, but with those downsides, the price is the big issue for it. Too expensive!
I enjoy washing my cat now. I have a ragdoll and a exoticshorthair. Before we own this machine, it is soooo hard to dry them after they go shower. Now, I just need to bring them to a quick shower, and they can dry in the machine. I no longer need to use my hairdryer for 30-40 minutes and get fit everywhere in our house to dry them. This machine is sooooo good!!!!!
Great for cats afraid of traditional dryers. I bought the Drybo for my Maine coon cat after being told by a groomer that she has dry skin due to being incompletely dried after her baths. Due to her immense fear of the traditional dryer, I began looking for other options and eventually settled on the Drybo. For size reference, my Maine coon is approximately 13 pounds.My Maine coon is calm during the whole process due to the quiet fans and gentle air. The drying process takes quite a long time (the manufacturer does note that a long haired cat takes 60-90 min, so nothing unexpected) but as staying in the dryer doesn’t seem to bother her too much and the dryer allowed me to do other things while monitoring her, it did still save me time. When she was out, there were still a few areas not completely dry as she would lean one side of her body against the door, so I would brush her a bit and place her in for a bit more time.All in all, if you’re in need of a quiet dryer, have the time to monitor them while they’re inside, have a cat that can’t handle traditional dryers, and/or frequently bathe your cat, I think this can be a worthwhile investment.
Works great. I have a persian cat who takes forever to dry, this dryer worked well, it’s quiet and I love that I can reach in and pet him when he’s in there. He is mostly dry after about 45 minutes.
