Good Sun Protection. This works, I was able to be outside most of the day in the sun and did not get sunburnt. It is lightweight and really doesn’t stop the wind, so it is not really hot to wear on a sunny day. Seems to work good even if wet. And dries reasonably quick. The hood keeps the sun off my neck. Only needed sunscreen on face and hands. Not quite five stars, but close enough to give it five. I bought two of these, one gray, the other light blue. Sizing is fairly accurate. Fits more like an under shirt as opposed to an outer shirt for a given size. May buy another.
Love the sun protection. I wanted a lightweight hooded shirt for sun protection while working outside. I knew I’d be getting it dirty, stained and at some point I’ll probably rip it so I didn’t want a super pricey performance oriented shirt from a major outdoor brand. This fit the bill perfectly.It works great in hot weather. It keeps me cool and my skin out of the sun while I’m trimming weeds, digging in the dirt, and clearing brush. I also have ended up using it on sunny runs and mountain bike rides (with the hood under a hat or helmet) and it fills the performance wear role pretty well too.Durability seems okay. There are lose threads on the seams but, like I said, I’m sure I’ll destroy this shirt through abuse before that ever becomes an issue. I bought the size I usually wear which fits nice everywhere but the sleeves. Those are too short to comfortably fit my thumbs through the thumb holes but I do have long gorilla arms. Overall, I loved it so much I bought a second one.
Better than expected. What a great bargain. This item met or exceeded every expectation. It is light, very comfortable and the fit is spot on. I got the Large and it is perfect for my 6’2″ 180lb frame. I have a bit of a long torso but the length of the hoodie is not an issue. It is right on the money. If there is any issue is that due to the thin, lightweight nature of the fabric- it can be fairly revealing about various aspects of your body. So if you’re carrying a few extra pounds, it really shows. I have the light grey, but I think a darker color would mute this issue if you are self-conscious in any way. No issues with durability so far. The stitching looks very good and I use it for hiking, disc golf and occasional mountain biking. I have not worn a Camel bak with it so I’m not sure if the fabric would wear out quicker due to friction with the pack. Anyway, I plan on ordering another since I’m so impressed.
I finally found my shirt. It’s so hard to find sun protection wear that is comfortable AND also not camo, so thank you BALEAF! I’ve finally found my shirt! At this price point, I’m thrilled! More colors please, greens, purples…I’m 6’0″ 160lbs and the XL is the fit that I like. I originally tried L but the sleeves were just too tight when using the thumb-holes. With the XL, the sleeve length is perfect when not using the thumb-holes, but still just a tad tight length-wise when using the thumb-holes. I may try an XXL to get more sleeve length, but I like the way the XL hangs otherwise.I have tried so many brands on Amazon and even boutique brands at much higher prices, and this is the most comfortable hoodie-shirt I’ve bought so far. I’ve already ordered another color and expect to order more. I got the light gray one first thinking it would absorb less heat than darker colors in full sun, and it does a really good job with that. In direct sun 95f, the heat largely reflected away.It’s fairly thin and I doubt it would handle snags on thorns very well but I haven’t tested it in that regard. The hood will blow off but if you’re wearing a cap even under the hood it’ll hold in place pretty well. For full face coverage I still need a gaiter but have some of those I like.
Perfect sunscreen. I wore this as a rash guard while scuba diving. It protected my fair skin from the Caribbean sun while protecting my skin from being damaged from my scuba equipment. The fit was perfect. Much better than having to spread goopy sunscreen all over myself.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE. Love everything about it, will be buying more colors. Super comfortable for everyday wear or for working out or to sleep in, great purchase. Durable worth the price, accurate sizing.
Perfect protection from the sun. Wore this in the Caribbean and stopped me from getting burned unlike others I was with. Very comfortable even when wet. Have 3 of these now. Highly recommended.
Perfect shirt, good value. Well made. Perfect shirt, great sun and wind protection while in a boat on a very very sunny ocean, with UV at 11. Very light weight for packing, yet breathable. Loved the hood for sun protection.
Sun protection, cool, soft, comfortable. Needed UV protective, easy dry shirt for hiking in Utah. I’ve worn it, but not for hiking yet. I’m 5’11”, 230 lbs and XXL fits great. Yes, the hood is large and needed to keep sun off your face. Wear a baseball cap if needed. Fabric is soft and thin. I sweat easily so this quick dry material is great. It definitely feels cool to wear.
INCREDIBLE – Best addition for hot/sunny hiking. Hiked GC rim to rim – my wife and I got this and the womens version to avoid sunburn and found that they were the best gear additions for our trip! Very breathable material, blocked the sun like a champ and the bonus feature was how well it work as a cooling system as well. Soaking the shirt in water then putting it back on was life changing – the evaporation was like A/C in the desert!Realize that these are much less expensive than big brand counterparts and I noticed some quality issues with that, got dirty really easily and some of the stitches look like they won’t last very long. But for the price point to value I was very impressed. Hope they last many adventures.

Hooded pullover. Nice product, packaged well and nice fit. It runs a bit small, so keep that in mind. Otherwise, it’s a great pullover, warm, and comfortable to wear.
Nice product, ok fit. The product is comfortable and well put together in terms of quality. However, the sleeves feel short and tight when I utilize the thumb holes, this is something I didnt expect and feels uncomfortable. Other than that I like it.
Soft material, quality. The shirt is lightweight and comfortable, perfect for long days in national parks. Provided excellent sun protection, practical choice for outdoor adventures.
I’d order more… but. I ordered a non hoodie long sleeve from this brand before. I liked it so I took my chances with the hoodie version. And they are just as great. Keep me much cooler. And the hoodie helps with the sun while still keeping you cool. My only two issues are. Out of the 3 I ordered mind you. One had the stitching come loose around the wrist the first day I wore it. And the second issue is with all three. I feel the thumb openings could be a bit lower on the sleeve. But also that might be fixed by getting a size up. All in all. Recommend
Great Shirt. Great shirt, excellent color and comfortable fit that works extremely well while out on the hiking trail. It provides the much needed protection from the harmful rays of the sun. So keep yourself safe.
The fit. The fabric is very soft and a significant decrease in burning from the sun.
Loved mine so much I sent one to my bestie. This summer the weather was so crazy! I needed something very flexible, durable, and safe for many hours in the sun. This shirt is wonderful! The hood is comfy and the torso and sleeve length allowed me proper overage. This top is great for layering over a base layer or tank. I also wear it under a vest as I work in the garden. I liked mine so much that I sent one to my best friend.
Nice shirt, good value. Good value for the money. Normal fit, not billowy or too big. Nice fabric, a little thicker than similar versions by expensive brands. The hood is great for sun and fits over my hat. I wear mine kayaking, it’s nice to dip the shirt in the water when it’s hot, for some extra evaporative cooling.
