Awesome purchase for a busy kitchen table with lots of devices. This may be among my top three favorite purchases of the 2020 work-from-home era. I set up and take down a laptop with a sit-stand riser on my kitchen table every work day, and kids are setting up laptops on the kitchen table frequently. This gives us an easy-to-use, lightweight but sturdy charging station that’s easy enough to move but doesn’t slide around on its own, and gives us plenty of outlets and even some charging ports. It does what it’s supposed to do, does it well, and…that’s it. I didn’t go with one that looks all fancy, just a black and grey block, but it’s been incredibly useful and easy, more so than a power strip or just an extension cord would have been (I tried both).It all depends on your needs. Amazon asked me to rate its use for travel – that’s low, it’s kind of bulky to stick in a carry-on and drag around with you, there are better choices for that. But for a semi-permanent place on a kitchen table that’s still flexible to be moved away when you need the space, it’s awesome. Excellent choice, and I’m glad I found it.
Desktop Power Cord Organizer. Nice to find a decent desktop power cord organizer as opposed to alot of extension taps which are designed for the floor. We all have them. This vertical design has a small-ish footprint (4-5 in. square by eye – can’t find my tape measure) and allows easy access to the 4 USB ports (5V/2A range per port – USB A) These are not “fast” charger ports so you can also use it to power some of your USB devices in real time. Have a handheld gaming console with low-capacity rechargeable battery? Just plug it and you’re good to go. Well, you’re tethered, but you know what I mean. Mine is located on a little table next to my recliner so it’s very handy for this.The 9 120V outlets work fine as well, though I wouldn’t load them up with multiple high-end, high-demand gear. It’s rated for 1250W, shared, so, as with all extension taps, be aware of your total wattage.There is also a quick charger for USB on top of the unit, which I didn’t use.It does feel a little lightweight and not sure I’d trust the surge protection to protect my electronics in a thunderstorm, but for the $35 price tag (mine was Superdanny by Aracky) you could do worse.
Power tower stays put, USB plus electrical plugs. I use this power tower in the living room for all the many USB cords I need plugged in! I put it under the side table near where I usually sit. It’s very handy. Unlike a power strip, it doesn’t have a mind of its own, twisted around by the cord. It stays put. It’s a convenient size and not very heavy. I like it so much better than a power strip.I have three items that are plugged into the electrical outlets – a lamp and some exercise equipment. The rest are USB – a small fan, a phone cord, a multicolor light projector, and a moon lamp. It seems like everything is USB now. I think even more USB plugs would be a good improvement. But you can always add a wall wart to an electrical outlet.There’s a button on top to turn this off but I never use that.This would be really handy to sit on top of a desk where you want to have access to the plugs. The power cord is a good length – long enough but not so long that it gets in the way.
Love extra outlets. This is a great way to have all you gadgets plugged in at the same place! You can plug in via usb or use your cubes. I also have my reading light and a couple of other items plugged in using the standard plug. It uses less space too.
Beats out a power strip. Bought this to put in a bedroom where we had guests staying. Looks so much nicer than a power strip so that there’s a place to plug in everything that needing charging. Will be taking it with us when we travel and have cameras batteries to charge in addition to phones, watches, etc.
Perfect Travel Companion. Perfect for traveling, and quilt retreats. All my devices accessed in one place.
Good for the money. All ports work. Having the push button to turn everything on/off with one press is a nice touch. The only drawback is the animated look of the “wood print.” Pictured it looks good, just a little cheesey up close. Function over fashion can’t be beat though.
Great charging tower. Really useful I’m able to plug in my printers, monitor, and charge my phone in it. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Very nice surge protector / power strip tower – 4.5 stars. My boyfriend has two of these and encouraged me to get one. I waited several years but now I splurged and I really love it. There are nine outlets and four USB (2 USB-A and 2 USB-C). There is also a power button on top that allows me to turn off power to the entire unit. There is also a red overload / reset button on the bottom back. The current price of $28.78 plus tax is also reasonable for this. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.
