  1. Works as expected. I’m not the most qualified person to review a wood treatment. There are hundreds of reviews for this product on Amazon UK website, if you want to check them.Anyway, for some reason I wanted to try this instead of the omnipresent Watco. The manufacturer markets it for kitchen and floors, I used it for a big table (10 person) and it was the right amount that i needed, enough for 5-6 coats. If it holds nicely, I would apply more coats some months from now, instead of applying any resin on top. A section of the table was rained on after 3 coats and it didn’t soak, so I’m optimistic about this product. The table was a giveaway because the previous owner botched the finishing job and left a sticky mess all over it. I sanded it as best as I could and the Danish Oil gave it a nice rich finish. The quality of the finish was proportional to the quality of my sanding job. I did sand the tabletop with care and it looks nice. Can’t say the same for the legs.I applied the first coat generously with a rag and wiped 10 minutes after. For the following coats i used a blue paper towel, followed by a 600 grit sanding wet in oil, and then wiped dry with a clean blue towel. The 600 grit sanding added a satin like finish. Please read about safe handling and disposal of the rags and towels used, because they are extremely flammable

  2. Love it easy applied dries quick looks Pissa. Just finished building these white oak stoolsGave danish oil a try love it great product will use more often !Only bad was some small areas of flat grain did not penetrate so well but that’s expected on white oak and a flat grained surface .

  3. Excellent product. This is an excellent product. It coats and provide excellent shine and protection. It spreads and dries evenly.

  4. Good wood oil but it stains. This is good wood oil, but I didn’t expect it to darken the wood color. It does, so be aware. I will definitely use it but only where I want a little darkening of the wood color

  5. Easy to Apply. I applied this product to a very expensive teak table that had some water spots. The results were stunning! Would definitely recommend.

  6. Teak wood. Awesome oil for Teak wood

  7. Outstanding results. I have well-loved mid-century indoor tables, which were showing their 36 years of use. If the tables had been easy to replace, I would have, but that style is no longer available. I am delighted with how much the color and overall appearance have been restored. Thrilled! Two end tables only needed one coat. Coffee table that gets daily use is looking wonderful after three coats. Just did the dining table. Some reviews mentioned fumes, so I took the smaller tables outside. No need. Fumes were not impressive or problematic at all. I learned through experience to wipe off the residue more thoroughly. An excellent product. Am ordering more. Highly recommended.

  8. Great danish oil. Easy to apply. Dining table looks better with it. Has a pungent smell after application. Might consider working with it outdoors and wear a mask.

  9. Yep. Great blend of tung Oil and accelerants. Colors a bit differently than pure tung Oil and dries more quickly. I’ve used it on several small projects and it’s a great product. Highly recommend.

  10. Best Furniture Oil. Quality product. So much better than the typical mineral oil. Protective and lasting.

Safe. Easy to use. Solid results. I ordered this as a substitute for Minwax’s Antique Oil for the furniture I design. While dining at my favorite restaurant, I overheard the owners discussing how their stake knives needed to be refurbished, so I grabbed five to take home to test out this Danish Oil. After sanding the handles to a 600-grit, smooth finish, I applied three coats as suggested. With a 5000-grit polish of the blade, the knives look brand new. I’ll be incorporating this product into my designs’ finishes.

  12. Works great, smells great. It’s a little expensive, but that’s because it’s for premium furniture, not doing large areas of flooring. It looks nice, spreads evenly, and dries evenly. It’s not a ton of protection, but that’s just danish oil, not this one in particular. I wish I could get a scented candle that smelled like this stuff; the smell of this stuff drying is now one of my happy places. It is slightly thinner than maple syrup.

  13. Great Finish for Engraved Wood – Rich Color and Lasting Protection. I used Furniture Clinic Danish Oil as the finishing coat on engraved wood coasters and door hangers, and it worked beautifully. The oil goes on smoothly, soaks into the grain, and leaves a warm, natural finish that really brings out the engraving detail. It gives the wood richer color without being overly glossy, which I prefer for engraved pieces.Application is straightforward—wipe on, let it absorb, and wipe off the excess. Once dry, it provides a durable layer of protection against moisture and everyday wear. On coasters especially, it helps resist water rings while keeping the engraved design sharp.Pros:Enhances natural wood grain and engraving detailEasy to apply with a simple wipe-on processProvides protection from moisture and wearWorks well for both decorative and functional piecesCons:Requires multiple coats for the best finishSlight odor during application (fades once cured)Overall, this is a reliable oil finish that balances looks and durability. It’s an excellent choice for small engraved projects like coasters, signs, and door hangers, but versatile enough for larger furniture too.

Store properly. Don’t store it in shed under 50 degrees. Bottle will explode and penetrate the bag and get all over everything. It says 10c -25c to store. But this is America folks. We don’t use Celsius – we use Fahrenheit . America First! As far as protecting my outdoor furniture- it worked well and absorbed well- but I’m upset I lost 3/4 of a bottle because the bottle exploded

  15. Good Stuff. Good stuff, provides a nice warm finish.
