Size up if your dog measures right on the cusp. We have used these dog wraps for two different dogs now. My observation is that the padded diaper/pee area is smaller on these diapers than other versions, they don’t go as far around the circumference of the diaper, but they are still very usable, especially at the lower price. Our younger dogs waist was right at 21 inches and the large size was leaving a large “tail” on the wrap that would keep sticking out. I opted to try the medium size since it said it went up to 21 and it barely met end to end around his waist. So I would advice to size up if your dog is on the cusp.
Great for older dog. My dog is now an old man and although he is healthy he will often leak at night or is too sleepy to wake us up to go outside. He was annoyed the first evening and at first woke up more often as he didn’t like peeing in them but now accepts these diapers aa part of his routine, sleeps comfortably and they do a great job whether he goes a lot or a little. We had 2 breaches out of the 6+ months he’s been using them and they were likely put on wrong, as they don’t slip off when sized correctly. Go down a size if they’re consistently falling off. It’s allowed him to continue his lifestyle of sleeping in the bed as we’d never have the heart to kick him out after all these years.
Saved my carpets. Jack is my 20-yr-old bichon frise, and he’s having problems with urinary incontinence. Add in his arthritis and difficulty getting up and down the stairs to go potty outside, and it’s caused me to constantly keep having to clean up accidents and shampoo the carpets. So my husband and I decided to try these wraps. I know Jack does not like wearing them, but they’ve been such a lifesaver for us! These diapers are good and absorbent, and adhere well. The medium size are perfect for him. I have not noticed any skin irritation or anything like that, and the color change (yellow line turns blue when diaper is wet) is nice and clear. I will continue to buy these.
Works great. These male dog wraps are great. My senior dog has been having accidents quite often now and I decided to try these out. They slip off during the night sometimes but not very often. I like that the yellow strip changes to blue when wet so I don’t have to guess. Also I like the price for these because at Walmart it’s about $12 for just a 12 pack. Will definitely recommend these and will be buying again.
