  1. Less disappointed, deep end is mostly clean now. Update: We’ve had the robot for a couple months now and I started looking to see if there was anything I could clean out or generally unclog to get it working better. I have four daughters and there was a corresponding amount of hair in the intakes and the impeller itself. I took off the top cover and removed a few screws to get at the impeller. I got rid of everything that was wrapped around it and reassembled the robot. After doing that, somewhat predictably, the robot cleaned the pool quite a bit better. It also had no problem climbing the walls in the deep end.At this point my only gripe is how often I’m apparently going to have to pull it apart and the cable. Ugh… the cable is constantly getting bound up as the robot seems like to turn in one direction more than the other. Honestly, minor irritants really, as it’s doing its job and I just have to be diligent about keeping it in good working order. That’s worth a couple extra stars. If it worked better with a half-full basket and didn’t constantly get tangled in its own cord, I think I could have been convinced to give it five stars.—————–We have an in-ground pool that’s roughly rectangular, with slanted walls in the deep end. We just had a new vinyl liner installed and bought the Nautilus to go along with it. I had been eying this for a while and was really excited to buy one.Frankly, it just doesn’t do its job well. There’s a spot in our shallow end that the robot just refuses to clean. It almost always has a pile of debris in the same spot. In the deep end, it’s all over. Very little gets clean. The robot can’t seem to climb the slanted walls (though it has zero problems with vertical walls, which is very cool to watch).Even though I can’t spare a return, I may just go back to my previous one that runs off my pump. I don’t know….I’d love to hear that I’m doing something wrong. I try to run it daily, sometimes twice a day, but it hasn’t helped.

  2. Works Great. works great it gets the pool clean on the bottom but it only runs for three hours doesn’t clean the whole pool within three hours because it doesn’t hit the spot sometimes that you need it to hit so I run it a total of six hours a day just to clean the whole bottom of the pool this is my second one the first one burnt out within two weeks and that was the plus this time I went with a smaller one seems to be working fine easier to clean this basket than it was with the plus the plus had two screens this one just has one big basket make sure you put it on a surge protector in case your place has a lot of outages

  3. Does exactly what I want. I only have a 12ft x 24ft pool, and it doesn’t really get that dirty. I just wanted to have a machine that would do a good job of cleaning both the floors and the walls saving me a reasonable amount of effort. I do not require any WiFi or Bluetooth connectivity and I decided to go for a cable-powered device rather than a rechargeable device as I did not want the bother of charging and I felt that it would have more power than a battery machine. This machine fits the bill perfectly. The only downside for me came at the start. I found that the quick start instructions were okay, but not quite detailed enough. Two big questions that I could not find the answer to were:1. Why have I got a machine with a power unit that has wifi and Bluetooth icons on it, has the device been upgraded? And,2. What control options exist with the advanced power unit since the instructions support video only shows a very basic on-off button?3. How do I know when a cleaning cycle comes to an end? Here are the answers I managed to find out (It took time)1. All devices now come with the advanced power unit. The level of functionality you can use the unit for depends on the cleaner you have.2. What functions can be used with the Nautilus CC? – I have figured that out yet, I need to experiment. That said the basic on-off function is all I need, so I’m not in a rush on finding this out.3. You can tell when a cleaning cycle is over because the Nautilus just stops and does nothing. So, when it’s moving it’s cleaning. When it stops it’s finished.

  4. Worth Every Penny. While we have only had this a month it has made a huge difference in in our aging pool. It is easy to use and clean after each cycle. The app is uncomplicated and I love using it to call “Jaws” to remove the cleaner from the pool. It cleans the steps, swim out and sides completely. The pool has never been cleaner. Our chemical usage has dropped and the pool stays balanced much better. Keeping the pool clean in the winter is a huge chore with the trees we have and being able to use the cleaner all year ( in Florida ) will solve that problem. May “Jaws” live forever!

  5. Where have you been all my life? Struggled with dumb vacuums previously. I’ve been through 3 vacuums in 3 years (Polaris, Hayward, etc) that you have to setup hoses, adjust valves, deal with basic maintenance and its always 10-20 minutes to set up every time I want a vacuum. This one just plug it in and drop it in, no hoses to deal with!!! It climbs the pool walls and scrubs them. Sure I realize that there will be some maintenance to keep it top shape but its already saved me a ton of time and aggravation. I just have my pool schedule running, no changing anything, and drop the Nautilus in when I need a vacuum. Its amazing. It also acts to circulate the water around my pool better (dead spots) and I attribute that to my pool chemicals being balanced with no additional effort!
