Comparison: Sellemer vs Lefree vs Boomjoy. I wasn’t sure which of the three I’d like best. I was intrigued by the flat, triangle shape of the Sellemer. I liked the round, compact look of the Lefree, and the Boomjoy had a nice tweezer attachment (which I can use to clean out hairs in my shower drain). Also, Boomjoy was the cheapest of all three.So you can see in my photo the type of packaging they come in. The Sellemer and Lefree both also come with a little plastic piece that you can stick to your wall and hang the brush on your wall. Not really sure I care to do that, though.I also placed all the brushes next to a coffee mug, so you can see approximately what the sizes are. I like the Sellemer in that it’s svelte. The Lefree is also quite compact. The Boomjoy has the largest base, so it would seem to take up most space. But the size differences, as you can see, are minimal.The brushes in the Lefree and Sellemer “hang” to drain, that is when you put the brush into the holder, it’s suspended and there’s a ventilated bottom. The Boomjoy is a solid bottom piece and the brush rests in it, like a bowl. I suppose that can cause some water accumulation and won’t dry as easily/quickly.All three required the handles to be twisted on, which were easy enough on all three. I liked the handles on the Sellemer and Lefree over the Boomjoy. The Boomjoy was the only one that had a metal part to the handle, but for some reason it felt a bit flimsy. The other two had all plastic handles.This is the first time I tried silicone brushes, and overall I like the way the clean/work over the old bristle ones.Sellemer: I thought I would like the triangular shape as it said it could get under the lip easily. But in trying all three of them out, the flat, triangular shape actually made it feel a little flimsier, so I didn’t feel I could brush as hard against the toilet. I did like that there seemed to be good density on this one with the silicone bristles.Lefree: This one looked like it was most lacking in silicone bristles. They were all spaced somewhat far apart. But, it still seemed to clean fine, and I could press it up against the lip of the toilet and it got under there just fine. Just as fine as the Sellemer. I felt I could press pretty hard against the surface of the toilet, too, to scrub some of those harder water stains out.Boomjoy: This seemed to have more dense silicone bristles than the Lefree, but less than the Sellemer. It also worked much like the Lefree. I could get under the toilet lip easily and scrub pretty hard against the toilet surface.Honestly, they are all “Made in China” products, so the quality is all pretty much the same. So what you are really deciding on are small features and which style you like the best.Personally, knowing what I know now, I would buy the Lefree. While the bristles were the least dense, it seemed to clean just as well as the others. It has a small footprint with a ventilated bottom. I just didn’t really care for the flimsy feel of the flat triangle Sellemer. And the Boomjoy’s non-ventilated bottom bothered me a bit in that I think if water were to gather and drip when I pick it up next time, it would be gross. I do like having the tweezer, but is it really necessary? It also has the largest base. I do like its very sleek look though, and the fact that it doesn’t put its brand across the base.Also, if price is of concern, the Sellemer was most expensive at around $15-$17 depending on when you buy it. I see a lot of price fluctuations. The Lefree is around $13. And the Boomjoy was $9.99.Overall, all three worked pretty well, and I think I will stick to silicone over the bristles from now on.

Update to my review. UPDATE: I’ve now had this toilet bowl brush for several months and I love it now! It took some time to get used to the design, but I kept it (did not return) and I’m glad I did. It works so well, it cleans So Well! You just need to get used to the design. As my previous review it gets in places you can’t get with a round brush, and I got used to the flat design so I got rid of my round brush and only use this now. I will only use this from now on BECAUSE of the design and the cleaning it does! And it is Very sanitary. I love this product and will only use this now! That’s the only thing I like about this toilet brush cleaner – the flat, triangle design. I can easily clean under the seat and lid when they’re in the Up position for cleaning the toilet. A round brush head can’t get underneath, or even around that top part of the toilet, and I’ve always hated not being able to clean that area with a toilet brush (I use cleaning wipes by hand). This design absolutely remedies that problem SO well! I Love that about this design!!! But the rubber material is a pain for cleaning the inside of the toilet bowl! It doesn’t easily slide or move around – the rubber gets stuck, and it bends. I’ve had to start cleaning differently, like side to side swing motion, or going around in just one direction, then back. I can’t even say it cleans all that well. In my opinion, it doesn’t – the rubber material can only do so much – it certainly doesn’t scrub like a bristle brush does. I’ve used it 3 times now so I won’t be returning it for a refund – but if it wasn’t for it being used, I would. I just don’t like it overall and would not recommend buying it. It looks really good, looks So much nicer than a traditional toilet brush/holder, and the flat triangle design is Great for that small narrow space (where seat/lid attach to the toilet bowl), but aside from that – I do Not like this product. Now I have 2 toilet brushes sitting next to the toilet – traditional one for really good brush scrubbing the inside of toilet bowl, and this one for just using in that small narrow area where the flat triangle design is perfect for. Somebody please make this design in a bristle brush style!!!

Good, would purchase again. Advantages: More attractive (as toilet brushes go,) than the old fashioned ones. Has a narrower profile, nice for my tiny bathroom. Should last longer than traditional brushes and seems to stay cleaner that average. Only drawback is handle seems short and can somewhat easily unscrew from brush part.

The company backs it’s products. There are three toilets in my house. I used this brush on them the first time and discovered the silv er paint on the handles was leaving dark stains on the bowl in the area where the water flushes everything down. I advised Angelina of the problem I had. A quick response form her advised me that she would replace the defective brush. Unfortunately that morning after going to the gym I stopped and left the item at a UPS drop off point. She followed through and today I received a replacement brush, plus I got a refund from Amazon. When using the brush the first time I noticed that it’s flexibility allowed it to reach every tough place and did a perfect job for me. The new brush does not have any paint on it to leave marks on the porcelain. When I looked at the ad for the brushes again, I noticed that the silver brush was no longer available. Quick work on their part, removing it for sale.

Flexible, durable, and takes up little space. This toilet brush takes up very little space. Love that I can mount it to the wall to get it off the floor, and that the holder is ventilated. The flexible head is nice for getting under the rim. The silicone dries quickly, allowing the brush to be sanitized much more easily than the old bristles, and this seems significantly more durable.Two main drawbacks: In two of my toilets, the brush head was too wide at the base to allow for easy cleaning of the drain at the bottom of the toilet. The plastic left little “paint marks” where it rubbed on the porcelain. (These came off.) My other toilets must have wider drains because it was not an issue for those.The other drawback is that this does not have significant scrubbing power. If you clean regularly and don’t have real stains, this will work just fine. If you have something that requires more friction, the silicone just doesn’t do it.

Perfect in the RV. I don’t have floor space for a toilet brush and the bristly brushes feel sooo gross to me. This solved all my problems. It sticks to the wall so 1) it leaves my floor space free for the awesome narrow trash can I found and 2) it won’t go flying anywhere during transit. Plus, the rubber prongs are easy to clean. This is a MUST HAVE for RV’ers and anyone with a small bathroom.

About what I expected – cleans so-so. I wanted to wait to have used this for a year or so before writing a review, rather than the usual glowing praise for something you are barely familiar with.My primary concern was that while silicone is really durable, it isn’t nearly as abrasive as the nylon-bristle brushes usually used in toilet bowls. My initial reaction was “it seems to work OK,” but after some months I started developing a ring right around the water line that this brush could not remove. I went back and purchased an old-fashioned nylon toilet bowl brush, and it came right out.Summary: it’s durable and last a long time but is probably only 80% as effective as an actual brush.

Really good for the price paid. I like it better than the consumable ones we’ve been using for years. Not only they don’t clean as well, but also pricey depends on how often you clean your toilet.

Neat and looks nice. I love how much cleaner this looks in my bathroom than the old one. This is a smaller size, and it has a very flexible brush that bends however you want it to go to clean under the rim. It doesn’t have the kind of fibers like the old ones. The old-fashioned ones with the stiff bristles sometimes fling back up when you move the brush into curves of bowl, making the dirty water fly up. But this brush, unlike the traditional ones, has a brush piece that is bendable, and easy to maneuver. I think it’s silicone. It’s also easy to clean. It comes with a holder that you can attach to the wall with an included adhesive. Overall, it’s very tidy and it looks sleek and modern. The quality is good.

Modern design; good for small spaces. This is a pretty good toilet brush. Pros: thin, comes with its own container so it is easy to stand out of the way, rubber bristles seem easy to clean/rinse. Cons: due to the shape of the brush, it doesn’t reach under the toilet rim well, doesn’t work on hard water stains. The handle design irritated my skin, but I also was not wearing cleaning gloves. Overall, I like the unobtrusive design of this and will continue to use it.
