Works well and seems sturdy. We had a seatbelt harness for our previous dog, but this new puppy is much bigger and doesn’t fit in it. So, we shopped around and settled on a harness for the dog and this car harness to attach to the dogs harness. It was easy to buckle into the seatbelt buckle and just stays in the car for the dog. She hops right in and lets us attach this to her harness and rides very calmly and confidently. Prior to this she seemed a little unsteady on the seat and flitted around, never settling, even though my teen daughter rides in the back with her. Now, she just sits on her own side of the car, looks out the window and seems very comfortable.Thankfully, we’ve never been in a crash with her, so I don’t know exactly how well this would fair under those circumstances, but she doesn’t fall off the seat anymore if I stop when she’s not expecting it.
works well to ensure dog stays in car. Works very well to keep the dog in the car since ours likes to stick his whole body out the window. Adjustable strap so we can adjust how far out the window he can go. Only downfall, and there is nothing they can do to fix this, is sometimes the dogs foot steps on the seatbelt button and unbuckles himself. He is quite crazy in the car so his movements accidentally cause that. Works great and haven’t had any issues with wear and tear either.
Fantastic for the price. My 4 month old boxer puppy loves car rides! And this is a great & safe way to keep her buckled in while I drive when I don’t have someone else with me to hold her. One thing to mention is you cannot leave it buckled into the car during the summer because the metal clip does get SUPER hot. But I just leave it in my center console when she comes with & it seems to be okay temperature wise.
These are a great idea… but. I have 2 large lab/heeler mix dogs. They go everywhere with me. I tried the seat cover but 2 seconds in as you can see they have it messed up. I bought these because I had to drive from Utah to Arizona and just wanted them safe. In the picture is the smaller of the 2 and has on her I’m not doing anything wrong look. I drove to the gas station to fill up on my way out and imagine my surprise when they both jump out! I get them back in and buckled, again I find them unbuckled. I tried pulling on it and they were secure. I tried hiding the release but they found it. So I love the idea of them but if you have sly pups who would are smart enough to unbuckle them they won’t work. That’s sad because I really was excited to try these out.
Keeps my pupper safe. I do a lot of road-trips each year. My Boston Terrier is not a fan of a ‘car seat’ for dogs. This car harness is a great compromise. He’s able to have some freedom, can lay in his bed, eat and drink and move around a bit while still being secure. I highly recommend for any dog that doesn’t want to be confined in a car seat. Simply clip onto their harness (not the collar!) and you’re all set.
Great product. Heavy duty, sturdy seat belts for our furbaby, I ordered these to replace the one I had and these are much easier to snap in/out than the other, they have the bungee action so they don’t snap her hard but do their job plus I got 2 in the pack
Easy to Install. Easy to install and a sturdy and good fit into the car’s seatbelt receptacle. Wish the hook that attaches directly to the dogs harness was the ‘lobster claw style’

Great Seatbelt. Decided to buy one for every car, as we kept losing. The Active Pets Car Harness we received worked really well for our pet. The lanyard is easy to adjust and the clasp is big enough to go around the dogs harness. We liked that the seatbelt connector went right in, some of the cheap belts are a pain to work with the seatbelt buckle.Overall a good value, good construction and works for us. Would purchase again for sure.

Perfect for dogs who like to put their head out the window. The media could not be loaded. This is great, I have a puppy I am training to sit in the front seat with me, it hooks right up to where you put your seat belt in, very Secure and strong

Much safer car rides. I feel like this is a safer option when riding in car. This is very strong and adjustable. It snaps into the seat belt clasp and keeps her from jumping into the front seat. I would recommend using this.

Works. Used for dog to be buckled in the car. Holds up well. Dog is safe in the car buckled on the seat.
Great for keeping my dog secure in the car. I have a 25 lb dog and want him to travel in the back seat when in the car. These straps are perfect. I insert the seat belt end in the seat belt lock in the back seat. Then attach it to my dog’s harness. He has enough wiggle room but not enough to jump from the back to the front seat which is what I want to avoid when driving.Glad I brought these. They are a good buy.
Does the job. Sturdy and secure. Doesn’t feel like it will break if my dog pulls on it.
