Sturdier than expected. I am new to grooming a long haired dog- our submissive, sweet dog went ballistic at the groomers!!! So- it’s up to me. I watched what little the lady did, knew I needed thinning shears and straight edges for around eyes, etc. Such a wide array and prices available. Thought I would get a less expensive set, then replace the shears later as needed. These were a great surprise! I first took out a very sturdy straight comb. Then the shears were equally impressive. Sharp, very comfortable and did the job well. I’m sure the price differential will show up in durability, but I’m only using them on one dog. Then I can replace the ones I use the most often. Overall, very pleased with the purchase!!
Very Easy to Use! Work Wonderfully. I bought these because my one pair of dog grooming scissors have become dull. I groom my dog myself. I can’t believe how much easier it is to cut her hair with these scissors! They cut cleanly and are easy to use. They are sharp but with the rounded tips and angles of them, I feel very safe in using them. I really love these grooming scissors! If I have one thing I’d change it is the rubber between the 2 rings to prevent them from clanging together. Because of my dog’s long hair, it caught her hair a couple times so I just removed them and all is well! I recommend this scissor set! Money well spent indeed!
Works great. I like that there are many different scissors but I wish there was some literature included that described how to use each one for best results so my puppies wouldn’t be so embarrassed of their home haircuts 😂
Good stuff. You don’t know until you get these in your hands, but they really are professional Grade utensils. Solid tight and sharp. Now I just need someone to hold my poodle long enough to trim her face. Fortunately, the tips are all blunted so I don’t poke her in the eyes. Love these, highly recommend

Good and Cheap Shears for the At-Home Groomer. To save some money, I decided to start grooming my pup at home. The GIMARS shears have been able to deal with my pup’s grinch feet and thick butt fluff well. With this kit, you get a short straight shear, a straight shear, a curved shear, and a fishtail shear. I thought the straight shears would be too short at first, but they’re actually the perfect size!In the beginning, the shears were surprisingly sharp despite being inexpensive. However, even with proper care, I have noticed they dull rather fast compared to more expensive shears. I wouldn’t recommend these for professionals, but if you only need to use them occasionally, I think you’ll be fine.The rounded safety tips are good for those who are afraid of cutting their pup. Nevertheless, I’d handle the shears with caution to avoid nicking your dog.Included with the shears are a case, comb, and microfiber cloth for cleaning. For me, the comb has been very handy to check for mats after brushing. The case also allows you to easily store the shears away safely, and the microfiber cloth is good for cleaning them.TLDR: This is the perfect basic kit for beginner groomers or those who groom at home. They dull fairly quickly—which is to be expected for cheap shears—but they’re still good for those who only need to use the shears occasionally. Included with the 4 shears are a case, microfiber cloth, and comb.

These helped me take my home grooming to a new level. I’ve had clippers for years now, and have tried to save money by grooming my dogs myself. I’ve never had any lessons, and I think that shows in my results.I have miniature schnauzers, and the schnauzer cut isn’t easy. Something I’ve always struggled with is their eyebrows. Awesome set. This set has helped me tremendously to groom my six month old Pooghan. The scissors are very sharp and cut beautifully. I can give my girl a professional grooming at home, with the correct tools, but without paying an excessive price! Highly recommended for anyone that wants to groom their dogs at home!
Great set for the price, works well. For this price we can do most of the grooming ourselves. We have a sharpener for the blades when they get dull so all we needed was sturdy, well made tools, so we are very satisfied. Fred the Destroyer (of shoes and pillows) loves the attention.
Dog grooming kit. The shears have a great blade in them. As I’m a hair dresser sharp shears are a priority!! They are doing just fine for the price I paid for them. I’m satisfied with the whole set !!
Exceeded Expectations. My dog will NOT go to a groomer, has a LOT of hair and needs to be trimmed. In desperation, I bought this set.Whether or not it’s “groomer” quality, I do not know. However, blades are very SHARP, are comfortable in my hands and do a good job for my needs.The set includes round, silicone type comfort inserts to put in the finger holes. They fall out; simply will not stay put. The stainless steel is excellent quality. The case is well-made and protects the blades.I would not hesitate to purchase again.
Nice Scissors Set. This is a good safe set of shears. You’ll still need a couple with points to cut through mats.
Made grooming easy. I wanted to start screaming my dog thought it would be best to order the proper tools. This made it very easy.

Marvelous for home DIY groomers. I groom my dog myself at home, a Maltese, and these scissors are great! Curved scissors are a must for grooming around face, feet and tail, These and nicely sharpened and the finger holes are just the right size for me. They aren’t heavy and bulky like some others I’ve had and make grooming. The other scissors in the set are just as good for any hand scissoring. They come in a zippered case with straps to hold in place and pockets for the points to fit into to protect them. I love the rounded tips for a jumpy, flinchy pup.

Pet trimming scissor set with convenient zip up storage case. This scissor kit is great quality and I appreciate the variety of scissor types. The comb is a nice bonus, and the storage zipper case is great for keeping all the pieces contained. Great value for the price. I liked it enough to purchase a second kit.
Awesome grooming set of scissors. I have two sets of these (only because my husband put the first set in with his tools by accident.) I love the curved ones to use on my yorkie’s face and hard to do areas. The thinning sheers are great for thinning thick fur areas. These are sharp so be careful. Extra rubber grips are provided in case needed. They are easy to use and easy to clean. Have had no issues and the various lengths of scissors are perfect for grooming your pup. Stainless steel and durable as well.
Solid, easy to use, high quality. Very happy with the quality of this product- nice weight and feel to all of the scissors and finding them extremely easy to use. I’m using them for grooming long-furred cats and although the comb doesn’t work particularly well for this purpose, the variety of scissors do. There’s definitely a learning curve to using the thinning shears. The curve of some of the other scissors is really great- better than other things I have tried- for feeling gentle and safe with a pet. Exceeded my expectations, and the rainbow finish is quite fun. Overall feel as though the set seems very high quality and hefty/durable.
