So far, so good. This has a much bigger water reservoir than my last one. I’ve been using this one for about a week now. It’s nice so far. My two cats took a few minutes to warm up to it but they finally did.I like how it lights up at night. It’s in my kitchen and the lights help keep me from walking in to it when I get up in the middle of the night. The fountain is not too strong, so my cats will drink from it. They won’t, however, drink from the tray.At first I thought I was going to have a problem with one of my cats knocking it over and pulling the top off but since he has gotten used to it, he hasn’t done it anymore.I like this waterer much more than my last one. It’s also easier to rinse out and change the water, which I’ve try to do about every two days. It’s not empty but it starts getting bubbles on the top from their saliva so I just change the water. It’s also VERY quiet. I have to look at it to make sure it’s running since I can’t hear it.I would recommend this. If anything changes I will update my review.
Better than the knock-offs. Originally I was going to buy an off-brand version of these but decided against when I saw images of the sponges. The authentic Veken sponges are much bigger than the off-brand and fit snuggly into my pet fountain. I can’t attest for my cat’s feelings, but I think she likes the cleaner water taste with the sponge and new filter since she’s been drinking more after replacing the filters. The sponge is not too difficult to install. Just make sure that you rinse the filter and sponge for a minute or two before installation to get out any unwanted taste and charcoal.
Work wonderfully. My cat loves her fountain; it’s pretty much the only way I e managed to get her to drink water. These filters work well for filtering out the crap in my city water.
Easy to use. The cat fountain I got this time is so easy to clean. It takes no time at all with these filters!
Very quiet. It does what it’s supposed to do …now to entice my cat to use it.
Good value for why you need it. This is a great value for your cat’s fountain. You have to keep it clean and fresh. Your cat will be so much happier and healthier that you did!
Black filters hindered flow. White filters are great. However, after taking apart & cleaning 2/week, refilling, trying to figure out why the flow was just drops, I finally figured out the black sponge was blocking the flow, so I just took it out & now the water flows great! I do still clean the entire unit once a week.
Why change filters? (EDITED, 5*). Fountain *was* great. Worked well, love the LED back light. New design (why fix what isn’t broken?), and neither of the filters available on the Veken store page fit the shape of our fountain. Size right, shapes available are not. I just bought this fountain last year.Now I have to buy a new fountain?I’d select zero stars if it were possible.*EDIT* Customer service thoroughly explained things and rectified the situation! Now ***** (5!)

Good water for Kitty again. Kitty has a very nice water fountain that has this particular filter in it. Two came with it and I used both of them and the second one was used way too long, but I was having trouble finding the right filter in the stores and finally found it on Amazon. This works perfectly and I feel so much better about the water Kitty is drinking now.

Cat water fountain. Love it and so does my cat. I no longer have to keep adding water to her small water dish. Works very well and very quiet until needing a fill. Very good purchase.

Great filter system. These filters work well and just as advertised. They are easy to change out. My cat has had no issues with her water fountain and these filters. The package has a lot of refills, so they have lasted a very long time so far.
My cat loved it. Old cat with kidney disease needed this to encourage drinking lots of water and it worked great. It was easy to clean but you need to buy kit with a very small brush plus a brush about the size of a woman’s index finger. Water does get splashed by the cat so it is always wet under the unit. I put it in a tray.
Cheaper to buy in this pack. These seem to be of similar quality of the original brand, which it does have the name on there. There was one that for some reason wasn’t filtering and caused the water to backup and leak out. I’m not sure if it’s the filter or something else but sometimes the unit is silent and other times it’s noisy even after changing the filters.Overall this works and plan to restock again with these filters.
Great Value & Quality. This is a great deal. The quality of the small filters is worth it alone as they are the best I have found yet – better than what came with the fountain. Consequently they last much longer; I have found that I can thoroughly rinse off, let them dry and use again another time and still have good quality! I have tried this with other brands and have not been satisfied at all. The white replacement filters seem to be about the same quality as other brands. Of course the longer you soak them when changing the better results you will have.I have been getting excellent water flow with the Veken filters pack, and with 12 I do not have to order as often! I have a Maine Coon who not only drinks a good amount, but some days wants to play at the fountain (I have it placed in a large rectangular baking dish anyway, but when he goes for water play there is water anyway – those days I wish I had a cheap low water flow filter in the fountain! He can empty it in mere minutes… (If I realize the need for water play I fill up the sink for him so he can splash more & I don’t spend the next hour cleaning the kitchen floor and everything in 3 foot radius!) That being said, I will be continuing to purchase this set.
Easy to Clean. It’s been a couple months and this thing is great. It does make some noises and seems to spill a little more (a lot of it is my cats, but other fountain didn’t as much). But it is aesthetically pleasing and easy to clean which is the best part.
