It does something, but not sure if it’s enough. After viewing the information on the Roebic site about the 4-step (quarterly) product introduction I decided to stop using a competing brand and give it a try. The S.G.P. was used in my shower (5 doses – one night after another for a week) and one dose in my bathroom sink.The results were fantastic in the sink! It’s the main bath for the house and I have a teenage daughter who uses a lot of hair products, soap and lotions that all get rinsed down the drain. This stuff took care of a slow drain overnight without an issue.For the shower drain – the reason I got this product – my results were less stellar.I used it one night after the next for 5 nights. The product was mixed per the directions on the bottle and poured down the drain prior to my going to bed each night. The product stayed in the drain undisturbed for 8-10 hours each day before hot water was rinsed down the drain. The shower drain had been somewhat slow and it still is. I really don’t notice a big change, but it’s possible the product kicked loose some crud that is now slowly making it’s way down to the septic.I have purchased all 4 of the products listed on their site to use in combination for my septic’s health. I may purchase more of this product and give my shower drain another dose. Just not as impressed with it as I wanted to be.
Effective product preventive maintenance. I have used this product several years, helps maintain septic tank and lines for trouble free performance of whole septic system.
On the fence. Hard to say if this is doing what it is supposed to do, or I am literally pouring money down the drain. I do hope it is working?
A must have for any homeowner. If you are a homeowner and have a high efficiency washer, then this is for you. The detergents in HE washers do not get diluted enough AND the power of the flush due to energy star compliance makes the drain fill up with hardened soap like material. The criminal plumbers want 3k to power wash the drains, but the problem will just come back. If you snake the drain really well, then treat it with these enzymes on a regular basis, your washing machine drain will stop stinking and backing up. A must have a long with a 35ft drain snake and a drain king.
Eliminate Soap Scum. With the new bath washes, I’ve noticed that my shower pan drain collects a lot of soap scum. I was concerned that this scum would clog my drain and wanting to prevent a problem, I used Roebic Soap Destroyer and I haven’t had a problem.
Easy to use. Added to my septic system as a preventative measure. There is near zero possibility of determining effectiveness.
Great products. Ive used Roebic products for many years. Ive not found this item in stores and I will make this product part of my maintenance for my septic system

Best purchase of the year. I have lived in my current house for 34 years. Ever since I moved in, the bathroom sink has gotten progressively slower in draining. Finally I did two things to resolve the problem: 1. I replaced the old pop up drain stopper with one that has a strainer basket that can be easily removed to clear any hair that builds up so that I don’t have to have someone open the P-trap, and 2. while the stopper was out, I poured half a bottle of this stuff down the drain two nights in a row and did not run the water until morning. The result? A clog the plumber had said he’d have to take the wall apart to fix is now GONE, the sink drains like it has all new plumbing, and I no longer have to cringe when someone tells me that they need to use my bathroom because I know the sink will drain when they wash my hands. THANK YOU, ROEBIC! 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, and A+++++ all the way. Will definitely buy again.

Do not pay to hydrojet. Plumbers sent a camera down the drain. Told me I need hydrojetting. Cost, @$2500. Told them to stick it where the sun don’t shine. Poured this in the drain and zero problems since, 3 months later still draining perfectly. Do not fall for the hydrojetting scam.

It’s a good product and it does exactly what it says it’ll do. I’ve used this for a few years now and it works great. These items were packed well and arrived in good condition.
Worked well. We had a slow flowing drain in our shower and tried several things trying to get it to go down quicker ( it wasn’t stopped up, just slow flowing) and we used this per the directions the 4 nights in a row and by the 4th night the next morning the drain was flowing down normal, I will definitely use it as a maintenance since we use shave gel in the shower and I have heard it clings to the drain pipe walls causing slow flow.
