Good for Flat Floor exercises. I bought this to do Floor exercises in my room. If you are thinking of indoor exercises while on the floor — exercises like Planks and flat floor asymmetrically beneficial exercises– then this is just fine. It is soft and spongy. I’m 5 feet 9 and it is just enough for my height . What I don’t know yet, is how it absorbs heat and cold. I wouldn’t like it getting too cold in winter. Out of 10, I would give it 8.9.
Perfect thickness. This mat is of great quality. It isn’t too thick, but it’s definitely not thin. It’s very durable. I love the design. It doesn’t slip at all. It actually kind of sticks to your feet and hands. This makes more difficult poses much easier to nail. It rolled out very nicely straight from the package. It took less than a day to work the curls on the ends out of it. It was packaged nice and tightly. It’s perfectly-sized. I absolutely recommend this mat!
Coloring Is Off – Not Real Promblems. After way too much time spent deciding on a color, I chose the pink on purple with the dandelion. I thought the pink would be fairly close to neon, but it’s actually more of a drabby, darkish coral. I am sad.Otherwise the quality seemed nice, and I didn’t experience any abnormal level of new-mass-produced-product-smell. I do have a sensitive nose, so. That was good. It was also more padded then I was expecting, another reason I wish I didn’t have to send it back.I just figured if I am going to have my face down in it all the time while trying to find my zen, I might as well enjoy how it looks.
My first ever yoga mat. I absolutely love this mat! I was a lucky one and didn’t get one that had an odor so that wasn’t an issue for me. It’s great for my knees since before this mat I was using a throw blanket. I love the design I got and it’s so vibrant. Some were saying that the print would transfer onto their skin but I didn’t have that issue either! No straps but it wraps up really well. 10/10 would recommend for a new yoga person like me!
Large enough. Love the design, I was a expecting a simple shoulder carrier wrap it doesn’t come with one. At Marshall’s any may comes with a shoulder carrier.
