Must have for cats & dogs. Must have grooming kit for DIY groomers! I have two pets that I use this for, one long hair chihuahua for nail grooming and facial grooming. My other dog is a medium sized dog about 15 pounds who does not stay still when I groom her. First of all, lets talk about the safety aspect about this dog hammock. You do not want to put a collar on a small dog as it can hurt their neck so this hammock is great for small-medium pets, even larger dogs! This gives you the control you need along with the support when grooming the pet. I like the multifunctional use of it as well, you can use this for a pet that does not stay in one spot when giving a bath. For example, I put my dog in the hammock and have my husband hold onto the loops while I wash my dog. It keeps my dog put and comfortable instead of choking her with a collar. Compared to other products that I saw that had a soft like material I like the mesh much better! The mesh lining is easy to wash and quick to dry and very compact! Second, if you put your dog in the hammock and lift him/her you will feel the support it offers for the pet, I do not see any discomfort in my dog when she is wearing it. This hammock helps me get to those hard spots on her paws without the possibility of me hurting her since she is staying still. This hammock helps your pet from licking or sticking its nose where it shouldn’t be when grooming that could lead to accidents. The tools included in this kit is everything I need for my pets’ nails; I love the nail filer especially since my dogs’ nails are always sharp after clipping them. The comb is a heavy-duty comb which works great on my long hair Chihuahua who can get a lot of knots! Now if you have a cat, I would say there shouldn’t be a second thought about buying this. I wish this was around when I had to groom a cat back in the day. I can see how this could help prevent you from getting badly scratched up from a cat! For the price and the safety and making life easier on yourself this has been a great find for myself, and with Christmas around the corner it’s a great gift idea!

Finally something worked. Our Yorkie has a dew claw that was not removed and he has always been bad about letting us trim his nails, but especially that dew claw. As a result of him freaking out and scratching our arms up to escape or looking like he might break his own leg to escape, his dew claw grew the point it was starting to dig into his skin. Vets bills just to trim nails gets too expensive to be practical long term and surgery for the dew claw seemed too risky. The nail was also very thick so normal nail clippers were pretty certain to cut his skin since there was little room for error. We made sure to use a grinder as it’s much safer, but grinders need time. This grooming hammock restrained him enough that he was unable to escape and we were able to finally get the job done. He did try to escape and kicked some, but it was so much easier than before. I help distracting him, but the hammock made it so I probably could’ve done it without help just fine. Help did not increase success rate much before. As shown we hung him on the back of a patio chair as we worried about the fall if he did escape. The hooks stayed in place and had no issue even when his somehow more squirmy brother nearly managed to spin. The belt was far too small for them even thought they each only weigh about 6lbs and the harness is meant for up to 8lbs so not sure if they sent a wrong size of what as it didn’t get get close to touching. Luckily we did not need the belt, but we can always add some fabric if needed to lengthen it. I also don’t plan to use the clippers or the nail file as I find a grinder way better. The harness was easy to put them into, seemed sturdy with no defects or issues, and the instructions were clear to show which was front and back of the harness. I measured the space between legs to pick the harness size and the sizing chart seemed accurate so it fits the twins great. This was a huge help with a dog that was nearly impossible to trim before. They hate it because it works great.

Finally something that worked! 10/10. I recently purchased this grooming hammock for my 70 lb Doberman Pinscher, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. After trying out other brands and sellers, this is definitely the highest quality one. As any Doberman owner knows, these dogs require a lot of upkeep to keep them looking their best, and this hammock has been a game-changer for his grooming!! What makes it stand apart from others I previously purchased is the sturdiness of it. I was initially concerned about whether it could safely hold my hefty boy, but it proved to be incredibly reliable! The reinforced design ensures that he stays secure and comfortable while I trim his nails or brush him. In the pictures he looks a little scared, but once he is up there he can be suspended for hours and TBH last time he fell asleep lol!! He has started to love it.I will say that setting it up was a breeze, and it’s very simple to adjust to the perfect height and angle for grooming. If you have a large dog like me, just make sure that the front/back holes are in correctly, that will be the only thing. When it comes to the grooming tools that come with it, I was throughly impressed by the quality of them, and it saved me the hassle of having to buy those separately.I would definitely recommend this product if you own a working breed that requires a lot of upkeep like Dobermans. All we need is 3 minutes “in the air” and he is done, we are trying to do his grooming sessions 3 times per week with this hammock and so far I’ve had no issues. It is definitely worth the purchase if you are a dog owner who prioritizes their pet’s grooming needs.

Simplify your grooming. Love love LOVE this dog hammock!! It comes with everything you need to groom your pup. Nail clippers, nail file, and a sturdy comb. My dog was a bit squiggly getting in so we just did a couple practice lifts and gave him some treats and then he was straight up chilling! We were able to effortlessly trim his nails. It’s so nice not having to hassle with him and fight to grab his paws! The hammock is super easy to set up; you just use the provided hooks and slide the hammock on. The material is super light weight and has a bit of padding so its comfortable for your pet. It’s very sturdy and I trust that he’s secure when he’s up there. This product is a great value for the price. It saves the expense and inconvenience of all the trips to the groomer for a simple nail trim. I’m able to put him up and get it done in less than 20 minutes. If you’re considering getting this, don’t hesitate any longer because it’s a great investment! You can fold it up and wrap up the tools in the hammock making it super easy to store and easily accessible. Make you and yours pups life easier with this grooming hammock!

Not safe for wild cats. Our cat is a rescue and freaked out and wriggled right out of the small. I think it’s too big, but to be fair he is pretty feral. We may try the XS for a tighter hold but after the first rodeo idk, I’m worried. He’s 10lbs but we got a size up because other mentioned they liked having extra room. The clippers are dog clippers, so may they may not be too useful for kitty’s.Safety issue is that the hooks are not very secure when a cat is bouncing around in the air trying to get out, they easily bounced off the curtain rod.Couldn’t get a picture as all havoc broke loose once he was in and we had to catch him before he strangled himself since the back hook came off. So FYI, don’t leave your animal unattended in this thing at all, it could easily turn into a hanging situation.

An easier way to cut my pup’s nails. I’ve been looking for an easier way to clip my dog’s nails, and this hammock has been really helpful. It lets me suspend my dog in the air with her legs out, so she can’t run away or wiggle too much. I like that it comes with a strap to keep her in place. The color is nice, and the included nail trimmer and file are a great bonus. It does the job well enough, and the design is simple to use. Overall, this hammock makes nail clipping much easier and less stressful for both me and my dog.

It works, but there is a learning curve. My little sweetie did not like being hung up in the air. They can still pull their paw away, so I used my body to snug him up against the wall. I think will do better next time but all in all it works pretty well. Sincerely, Cheryl and Zeus
