Transformative. This yoga block has really transformed my practice. I used cheap compressed foam blocks for years and didn’t think a heavier cork block would make any difference. Then I attended a yoga class at a new location and they had several Manduka cork blocks mixed in amongst the usual foam blocks. I decided to try one out for the heck of it. I was absolutely floored at the difference the block made in my stability during balance poses. As counterintuitive as it sounds, it actually allowed me to be less reliant on my arms for the additional balance as I didn’t have to grip as hard to keep the block from moving and when I did need the extra support it was firmly yet comfortably there. From that day on, I tried to get to class early enough to grab one of the Manduka blocks. A few months later I came late and had to use a foam block. I hated it so much I went onto amazon and bought my own Manduka block as soon as I returned home. These blocks will likely outlast all of my other yoga accessories. They are extremely high quality and feel so much nicer on your hands than some of the other cork blocks I’ve felt, which seem to have a chunkier, harsher texture. You really do get what you pay for and these blocks are 110% worth the extra cost.
Everything I was hoping for. This is a great yoga block. I like it much better than the foam one I had before. It is sturdy and smooth and made from a natural material. It looks nice in the corner of my living room when it’s not in use.But most importantly, it is NOT very heavy. I really left this review mostly to say that. When I was shopping for this, I read all the reviews that said it was a nice block but way too heavy to take to a class, it’s only for home use. This is nonsense! If you are able-bodied enough to go to a yoga class, you will have no problems carrying this block with you. It weighs about 33 oz (I weighed mine). About the same as my big water bottle when it’s full. It is heavier than a foam block, yes. But it is still not very heavy. I mean, really.I mostly practice at home, but a few times a month I join in a class and I will not be hesitating to bring my block with me.
Great block, husband loves it. Blocks are one of those yoga tools you don’t realize how much you need till you regularly use it. It has really enhanced my husbands practice.

Each block is just over 2lbs, which is light enough to move easily while adjusting a pose, but heavy enough to create a strong foundation. I chose the larger dimensions because I enjoy using them as a seat when I am meditating or sitting at a low table. I would recommend these to anyone. They are beautiful, functional, and all around well made.

Well made. Got some weight to them, very sturdy and durable. Well made blocks. Nice rounded edges so they’re comfortable and well.
Firm blocks. These blocks are exactly what I needed. Solid with no give. Not at all slippery.
Excellent product! Disregard the negative reviews. I can’t believe people in the negative reviews are complaining that the blocks are heavy and/or too firm. That’s the whole point of a cork block. You going to write a negative review for York Barbell that their weights are too heavy? These blocks are freaking amazing. Oh, and if you received a damaged product, well, that happens. Stop being such a baby and just submit for an exchange. I just did that with a pair of foam blocks! GAH!
Manduka is awesome. You cannot go wrong with Manduka products. They are great! I got two of these blocks from my husband as my Christmas 2023 gift and love them!!! they are sturdy, relatively light and good size. I am using them in every yoga session! I recommend.
Sturdy blocks. I love how sturdy this blocks are! When I do use block I need something that doesn’t feel foamy, so this are the best ones for me. Great support and grip which gives great stability to my practice when I use them

Wonderful product, great quality. I have been using these blocks for a year now, twice a week yoga class. They look nice, sturdy, bit heavier than normal block. I was concerned about the material shedding or breaking since it looks like cork, but it didn’t. I love them so far.

So having the two, here are my pros and cons when choosing: for hot yoga, or heavy sweaters, the brick is less slippery. For balance, the brick is heavier feels very stable. If you plan to lean on it, the foam is a little softer. Also the foam is lighter for travel. I’m comparing blacks of identical dimensions. Happy with both sets for different needs.

Very stable. Love these yoga blocks. They are much more stable and environmentally sound than the lightweight plasticky ones at my classes. They are heavy to carry around in my bag, so I primarily use them at home.
Great sturdy blocks. This is my first set of Manduka blocks and I am so impressed. It is sturdy and well made. I’ve used them a couple times already. It looks like ithry will last I have used another brand previously and it was made of a super light foam material that got scratched and dented easily. I am So happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend for others to purchase.

Solid. Supportive. Excellent cork blocks and fortunately my cat does NOT love to sink her teeth into them like she does with the foam blocks. These should last a very long time. Extra firm and supportive, although sometimes a little too firm for things like lizard, resting forearms on the blocks, or under the lower back for legs up the wall. For softer positions that need support, I might switch to foam blocks but for stronger poses like flying half moon or even standing L or standing splits with blocks, it’s nice to have a more solid support block.
