good cleaner. I originally bought this to clean an old china cabinet I purchased on line from a couple who moved to my area. Of course that was after I vacuumed it and cleaned it with Murhphy’s oil soap. This took even more dirt off as the cloth was slightly black after I used it. So it works. But I also used it on the piano my parents bought back in the 70s for my sister and I learn piano on. I just got it from my sister as she no longer wanted it. Of course after she let her two young kids (who are not adults) kick it, bang on it, and whatever else they did to it. It had wax build up. Smelled like her potpourri’d home. The rag wiped all of that off of the piano. The piano was shiny again. Not dull. It looked like it had been waxed actually. Anyway I haven’t seen any damage to the wood I used this on. I haven’t seen anything negative. Just good results. I read where you can use this for everyday cleaning if you like.
Great wood furniture cleaner. The Amish furniture maker who sold us our wood furniture suggested that we use Guardsman products to clean and polish our new furniture. We took his advice and have been hooked ever since. This wood cleaner has done an excellent job of keeping our furniture clean and looking beautiful as new. We’ll be continuing to use only Guardsman on our wood furniture!
Really cleans. I never knew cleaning my wood kitchen cabinets could be this fast and easy! I’ll never use anything else now.
Be Careful will take the finish off. The stuff really worked. They one thing you have to watch for is it will take the finish off your cabinet. So use it sparingly.
Used whole thing and didnt get rid of smell. I bought two different products to clean my wooden dresser because it was stinky. First tried this one. Used entire bottle but it didnt get rid of small and the bottle goes fast. Then i went ahead and used murphy wood cleaner and that worked wayyyy better and now my dresser had a lovely smell to it.
It works great and doesn’t leave streaks. I love it, but it is a little pricey.
Okay for cabinets, BUT Fantastic for cleaning stainless steel appliances. I find that there are better products for cleaning my cabinets. However, I accidentally discovered it is fantantasic for cleaning stainless steel appliances or any appliance for that matter. I personally do not use it for cleaning cabinets but have back ups for cleaning the household appliances.
It Cleans/Polishes Varnished Wood without Residue. It’s great. Use it daily. No scent, so not sure why they ask for a scent rating.

This is great. I use this on my finished and non-finished solid wood furniture to clean off daily gunk from my kids. It works great!

Great Wood Cleaner. I ordered this hoping it would work as well as another product I had used and was discontinued. It was easy to use and did an excellent job cleaning and polishing my kitchen cabinets. I will continue to use and purchase this product.
Easy to use. Cleans nicely and provides a nice matte finish. Not sticky at all.
It Works. The new, improved version is even better (from when we first bought 10 years ago). Although I still wipe my wood table with a damp cloth, removing small debris and dried food spills, I can see the product would do the cleaning and shine effectively. Spray on soft cloth and go with the grain, couldn’t be easier.
