Wand did not work* got replacement. Edited: the seller reached out and offered a refund for a replacement, hopefully this one works!I’m really sad 🙁 there’s no way for me to reach out to seller to request a new wand, I replaced battery and it still does not work. I used it once and the lights were stuck on so I had to untwist all of them to turn them off since the wand is now useless. I really hope I can get a replacement wand so I don’t have to purchase another set of candles 🙁
Super cool product but don’t waste. You’re money on the set with the wand controller, it won’t work. I’ve bought several from different companies and none of the wand remotes work. Also two of the candles from this set don’t react to any controller and I have to screw/unscrew the bottom to turn on and off.
REQUIRES 2 AA batteries in each candle. 24 AA batteries total. Edit: This company has awesome customer service. They reached out and offered to refund me, which I didn’t think was necessary. But they did anyway. The product works great, just know they take a bunch of batteries. 🙂 I am going to order another set, because we do really like them.Original review: This product REQUIRES 2 AA batteries in each candle. 24 AA batteries total. The remote also requires a battery, but that one was included. The product details above said no batteries required. So just be prepared to spend a bit on lots of batteries. The box doesn’t even mention batteries being required. Nothing would work when we opened the box. Finally, we unscrewed one of the candles and look there’s a spot for two batteries. We had to try a bunch of batteries to see which ones we needed, because nothing says AA batteries anywhere. Otherwise, it seems to work well. Seems like they really need to fix that on their marketing.
Spooky Season Decor. a cool magical decor that makes you feel like your in the wizarding world though the remote is a bit wonky.
Cute Floating Candles. The media could not be loaded. I got this floating candles to decorate my fireplace, they are cute and easy to install. Love the remote control because it’s easy to turn them on and off. Just be careful when putting the batteries, I put them backward and the candle didn’t turn on and started getting hot, I notice right away and corrected the batteries and it light up.! One of the candles didn’t work, that was disappointing, but the ones that work look pretty hanging! If there was one thing to change would be the batteries, I wish they came with the coin batteries because in the day time you could see the batteries thru the plastic, but to me that’s not a deal breaker. I’m buying another box for my Halloween decorations outside

Smaller than expected. I think they will still look okay hanging, but they are not the size of a standard candle stick.
Cute- wand works after great customer service. These floating candles are adorable and hang from clear fishing line. Two hanging options are provided – sticky hooks and thumbtacks. I am opting to use 3m tape in conjunction with the sticky hooks, as we have had past good luck in easy removal without damaging drywall/paint. I am leaving two stars because the wand does not work despite changing battery, screwing the lid at different levels of tightness, and pushing the buttons a hundred times. The candles work, but I have to unscrew the bottom a bit on each candle, which is a bit of a hassle as they are hanging from the ceiling and there are a lot of them! It is past the time period for me to return them (I should have tested them immediately upon purchase rather than wait for Halloween season). If the wand worked, it would be five stars. FUTURE BUYERS, test your wand within the return period.EDIT! The seller made it right and now they are working and look so awesome. Thank you for promptly and professionally responding. I still recommend checking the wand and candles upon receipt.
Need to order more. The media could not be loaded. These are so cute! Have these hanging on my front porch and received lots of compliments and the wand remote is the best idea. I’ve had these for over a week and turn them on at night but I’ve forgotten a few times and had them on all day and night…. And I haven’t had to change out the batteries yet. These have a soft glow like a candle which is perfect. Also I love the hanging options! The tacks didn’t work on our porch ceiling so I had to use the sticky clips and they have held up wonderfully even in the unpredictable Midwest weather.
complete duds. I’ve seen the reviews about people getting 1 or 2 candles out of the box that don’t work, but for me, it was the entire box. I contacted the seller and they immediately sent out a replacement order that came within one day. Great, right? Wrong, because this entire box was also complete duds. I thought maybe it was something I was doing wrong, so I messed around with them for a bit, but no, the assembly is extremely straight forward. And no, it wasn’t a problem with the remote, because it was controlling OTHER remote-controlled lights nearby without a problem. Looking at these closer, the mechanics don’t really make sense for it to ever work in the first place. The battery doesn’t even touch the metal piece at the bottom, and there’s nothing connecting to the top of the battery. Not sure if they’ve changed the design of these or what, but both orders were basically trash.
So magical. These look so beautiful when they’re lit! They are pretty good quality and we love the flickering effect! We bought these for spooky season but we will probably leave them up all holiday season. They will probably look great for Christmas time too! It came with everything you need plus an extra candle!
Non working remote. Love everything about them except that our remote came broken. We tried a new battery but that didn’t help.
Candles turn on randomly. They look really good. I hung them outside on my pergola so they had metal to attach to with the sticky things. Those work really great each item requires two AA batteries so it’s a lot of batteries and the lights turn on randomly throughout the day. I have to keep turning them off. I just hope they last until Halloween . Also, one of my candles did not work sometimes it will when I slap it really hard. The great construction, but when they are all working, they look really good
Look great but remote doesn’t work. The media could not be loaded. I bought three of these. Kit one (with wand remote)- The remote wand didn’t work. Kit two (regular remote)- worked and remote also operated first set. Kit three (regular remote) – remote didn’t work. So only 1/3 remotes work (but all candles work). I kept trying because look amazing. Like Hogwarts
