Good for the price. UPDATE: The nail clippers didn’t stand up well, they bend the nail and dulled pretty quick. I noticed they didn’t cut well after a day or two of use. The brush has been doing really well however the head does come out of the handle if I catch a snag in the coat. I am not sure if this is a feature of the brush or a flaw. I have a love/hate relationship with this as it keeps me from hurting the dog but does make it difficult to take out even small tangles. The comb is awesome. Very sturdy.Not a bad set for the price I paid. I bought these for work as a dog bather so I imagine they won’t last as long for me as they would for a personal pet. The comb feels sturdy and like it will last me awhile. The nail clippers are smaller than I thought they would be but they should do great for small and most medium sized dogs. The nail clippers have a built in lock and a stopper to keep you from going too far while clipping the nail. If you don’t like it, it is removable. The brush seems okay but after continuous use I think the soft bristles might get stuck under the self cleaning back. They do lock in an “out” position, you just have to press the button until you hear a click. Then press again to have the self cleaning back push up the hair and bring the bristles back into the brush. I’ll update my review if anything breaks doesn’t live up to expectations. I only paid $10, so again, the items are great for the price I paid. Normally it would cost me $10 just for one of the combs.
Thinking About Buying A Different Brush? Don’t. First of all, this is a great company. The packaging was very cute, and I liked their little card that came with. Upon looking at the products, I noticed that a couple of the plastic bars were broken. The product was still functional, so it was most likely a damage during transit. I decided to send an email to the company to ask if they sold replacement parts in case I needed to order it in the future. They responded in a quick timeframe, and were absolutely intent on making sure I was satisfied. I sent them the amazon order and my shipping information, and they sent me an entirely new brush!! They even sent a follow up email a couple weeks later just to ensure I received the item and didn’t have any other issue or questions! As someone who works in the customer service industry, I really appreciated their time and effort into making sure I was completely satisfied!!Now, on to the products. I have 2 cats and my aunt has 3 large dogs. The brush and comb worked great on all of them. I have a metal comb from before, but my cats and even my aunt’s dogs didnt complain about the use of the comb and its effectiveness. I dont use the nail clippers, but I did try them and really like the grip and quality. Finally, the slicker brush. My cats arent used to being brushed, but they instantly love the slicker brush. It pulls out quite a bit of hair and doesnt seem to cause discomfort for the pets! You press the button until it clicks to extend the tines, and press it again to retract them. Once you retract them, it’s very easy to clean the brush! Simply wipe the hair off with your hand and voila! It’s clean! My cats now come running whenever they see it in my hand, and it helped reduce the dog’s shedding by a noticeable amount. If you want to help care for your pets by brushing and combing them, then help this company too and buy this product. Effective products and incredible customer service, what more could you really ask for??
Love this brush and so does my kitty. We moved and I misplaced my cat’s brush and comb. I have to admit I looked for it half-heartedly since she enjoys being brushed but didn’t truly like the old brush and comb I had been using. My cat has medium long and quite thick fur which tends to develop “dreadlocks” if I don’t keep up with her grooming. Again, I’ve been remiss. I kept “promising” her a new brush and finally after much reading of reviews decided on this one. No lie, when it arrived she watched me open the package and ran over to me when she realized it was her long awaited new brush. To say she purred loudly and rubbed her face on the brush repeatedly as I brushed her would be an understatement. She loves her new brush and so do I! In fact after a brushing and a nap while I typed up this review she’s back for another brushing…that’s amazing.First off, I have severe arthritis in my hands but holding the brush is effortless and pain-free thanks to rubber grips. It is lightweight and the handle is soft enough but not so flimsy that it bends unnecessarily while using (which would require more effort and a tighter grip) on my part. The button to click the bristles in or out is easy to use and works flawlessly when pressed for hair removal. Hair removal is a breeze. The bristles themselves are stiff and short but have little plastic/rubber ends so I don’t worry about scratching her skin. They work great on her thick coat in removing surface hair and her dense undercoat but she didn’t complain once. Being that my girl was overdue for a grooming I did get a great deal of hair off her including undercoat with just a few swipes, more than her old archaic brush ever did. I like that the bristles retract and won’t be broken off while sitting in a drawer. Also, another nicety is that the brush comes in a plastic bag which I plan to store it in when not in use. Just a thoughtful extra.All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase. Grooming my dear kitty will be enjoyable for both of us now and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this brush. I am actually planning to purchase two more, one for my Frenchies and one for my nephew for his kitties. Thank you Ruff ‘n Rufus. (PS I can’t comment on the nail clippers bc I didn’t try them and didn’t choose this brush bc of them as I already have great nail clippers for my pets.) Good luck and love your babies! Quality Product – Kitten LOVES It❣️. I’ve had a few grooming brushes and nail trimmers in my life with owning many dogs and cats (among many other pets) as most do throughout the years raising children; and some grooming brushes & nail trimmers have been better than most, but THIS Grooming Kit has to be one of the BEST I’ve owned out of any hands-down! 1A bit bigger than I thought was going to be, especially for a kitten, however, he loves the brush and HE WILL GROW 😊 so I definitely won’t need to purchase another as he becomes larger! Gets all the hair. Brushing a husky malamute is a challenge on your own, and not having an adequate brush, (loop brush) was just impossible to keep up with. Most of the time it felt like I was Edward scissor hands, plucking hair out of my puppers and the hair flying all around me. I had excepted that this was the life with husky’s. Then I finally searched for a brush getting my hopes up, and I’m very happy I did because this brush is amazing! More than amazing. Middle of blowing a coat, brushed my girl and the amount of hair that came out, (in a good way) was unbelievable. I could not believe how much was just there. The best part about it, the dogs love it and the second best part is that I didn’t have to brush the dogs for two days! Two days, not even plucking little toofts out.
Such a great brush. I bought a glove brush and a furminator and a comb for grooming my cats. The glove brush didn’t get enough fur out and the furminator wasn’t big enough to cover more of my cats. Plus I felt like it was pulling their hair rather than removing it. The cats didn’t like it at all. The comb sorta works but they prefer to chew on it instead of letting me brush them. This brush however works great. It keeps the fur in one place and covers a large area. And it’s super easy to clean! This is for dogs so it’s pretty darn big but I wish there was a medium size for cats. But hey I’d rather have something too big for them than not be able to groom them at all.
My dogs and I love this brush. We have 3 dogs of “mixed heritage” and 2 of them shed like crazy. I was attracted to the comment that the brush was pain free and of course I like the button to clean the hair. I was very impressed with the quality and weight of the brush. My worst shedder didn’t want me to stop brushing. I had to clean the brush several times. It was obvious that the bristles were getting to the under layer of hair and getting more than the top hair off. My dogs were all dumped out in the area by evil people and have emotional issues so the fact that the 2 that shed so much were not running off when I started brushing was huge. They can be suspicious of anything new. I would definitely recommend the brush for all your furry kids!

Works great. I used this on my medium to short haired cats. Not only does it do a great job, it’s easy to clean and most importantly they love the feel of it! Great grooming tool.
