Cheapest listing of this product; great for the price, but you do still get what you pay for. I’m not a fake plant connoisseur, but I looked at a LOT of fake ivy before I settled on this one, and I’m pretty confident in saying that this is the cheapest listing for this product. There are a lot of listings selling this particular variety of fake ivy (7 foot strands, 80 leaves a strand, 2 leaf sizes, fabric cutouts with a print, usually comes in a 12-pack), and this, at $10 for 14 strands, seems to be the cheapest. While it’s definitely cheap, it does the job, so it’s pretty good for the price.Okay, so you’re looking at fake ivy in the ten-bucks-for-a-hundred-feet price range. You’re not getting perfect realism here. Anyone who looks at this stuff from closer than 20 feet for any length of time is going to see that it’s fake. It’s just single-color plastic vines with some printed fabric leaves glued on. That said, it looks good in pictures, and it’s not distractingly fake. It adds a feel of greenery without mess and the need for watering. I find this soothing, but I’m usually sitting at my desk and see this stuff only in my peripheral vision. If you’re going to really be looking at your fake ivy, then depending on your fake plant standards, you might want to spring for something more expensive.I’ve seen some complaints about durability, and I did lose one leaf just taking them out of the bag, but I think that must’ve been a fluke, because I handled them rather roughly while hanging them up (these get tangled immediately) and didn’t lose any more. I’ve also seen many, many complaints about the smell, and yeah, when you first get them out of the bag, they’re pretty rank. I aired them out for a couple hours before I hung them up, and there’s still a faint plasticky smell about them, which I’m hoping will go away after a few days of open windows. If I were to do it again, I’d put them in a bucket of soapy water for a while before hanging them.These garlands are pretty sparse, so I highly recommend hanging them in uneven bunches so there’s always at least two vines overlapping. If you can afford it, I’d get a pack or two more than you think you need. I bought one pack, which was just about sufficient for a small wall with three windows, including trailing over a bookcase. Would buy again. PACKAGING: There are a lot of similar products on Amazon, but after reading some reviews, I decided to go with this one and I am perfectly happy! They came on time and were packaged well, but I ended up detangling them for a while anyway because the vines themselves just stick to each other very easily. I did this carefully because the leaves fall off if you try to pull them apart quickly.SMELL: Like some other people mentioned, they do have a chemical smell, but I only aired them out spread out by an open window for about an hour before hanging them up around my classroom and my room didn’t smell at all.QUALITY: When you look at the vines one by one, they don’t look particularly real/natural, but when you overlap them when you hang them up, they look really great. One of my students was flabbergasted when he finally looked at them up close and realized they weren’t real (lol). But that being said, if you ever look at real vine, real vine looks plastic too.APPLICATION: Super easy! I didn’t even need to use tape or command strips to hang them up around my whiteboard because they stick together easily without having to intertwine them much. I just perched them along the edge of my whiteboard and let them hang.
Good. I was not dissapointed. As almost all reviews mentioned, the vines did have a chemical, fishy stink to them upon opening – however, the reviews I had read made me believe that the stink would be unbearably strong. In my experience, the scent was rather faint and did not fill up the room. Nevertheless, it is noticeable, and as one that is not entirely fond of chemical, fishy scents, I would recommend that before using these, one shall soak them in Febreeze spray or some anti-odor formulation, and let them sit somewhere for a couple of days. As of quality – the leaves are not the biggest leaves, more of a medium to small size. However, this fit well in my chambers. Who needs huge leaves anyway? For decorative purposes, these definitely suit just fine.
you get so much omg. you get a tonnn of them. you might even have too many honestly. Definitely open them a good bit before you use them because the smell is horrid. we had to spray them with air freshener to even be able to use them, but now that theyre hanging on the walls they’re not that bad
Super Cute. It was really easy to hang them and they stayed in position so far. They’re a dorm room decoration for me, and the smell isn’t noticeable after 30 mins to an hour. Very worth the price, I decorated a good section of my wall, and I still have lots of vines left. I’d definitely purchase this again.
Pretty. Durable, quality is what you’d expect. They are pretty but do come tangled. They are not connected and are like 20 individual vines. 3.5 stars was not an option so I put four. They are slightly above average
Got way more than I expected! :DD. I ordered this product a with the hopes of getting maybe ten feet of vines but I got around 30! Super pleased just be ABSOLUTELY SURE TO EITHER LET IT AIR OUT OR SPRAY IT WITH FABRIC FRESHENER. Smells like bacon bits and funeral homes at first, I wish I was joking. Other then that they look great and fit my rooms aesthetic really well :]
Great price! Looks great. I purchased 2 sets of the 36 vines. Great price and perfect for filling the space above my kitchen cabinets. They look great! Exactly what I was hoping for. They come in vacuum-sealed packs of 12. So, I had to separate each strand and shake them out, but it was super easy. They are a bit flat, so you do have to do a bit of twisting and fluffing, but totally worth it. And yes, as others have said, they do smell for a while. But I’m sure the smell will go away once they’ve had time to air out and settle. 5 stars!

They don’t shed, since taken out of their packaging only one leaf came off of the vines. They do have a very pungent smell, but for my ppl who wear wigs, it just smells like hair out the box. I didn’t think the smell was bad, but when my sister came in my room she said it was very strong. So I’d recommend washing and drying them out first if the smells a problem for you. To hang them up I used command replacement strips, I prefer these better, since you can’t see them unlike with tape and they’re sturdier.

Buy them trusttt. I love these vibes I’ve had them for so long they give a nature vibe, vibrant color and leaves are very green the quality is so good and they are easy to install just soak them in water before so u don’t leave behind small pieces of the leaves. I would say they are bright.
CUTE. Yes, it does smell, but if you let it air out with a window open, you should be fine in no more than 10 min. I got this for my room and it is literally so CUTEE! It makes my room feel more alive and that someone actually sleeps here LMAo.
I love these. I’ve had these for a few years now and i just moved! I was able to move the ones from my old room to my new room and use the ones i didn’t use from last time. They add a lot to your room and just look very cute! Out of the whole thing only a few leaves fell off and i just taped them on the spots that lacked leaves. I recommend getting these to decorate, they’re a cute inexpensive way to make any area look warm and homey! For the price you receive and good amount! You can cut them for the size you need!
Love. This is such a good pack of fake ivy for the price. It is expensive EVERYWHERE else!! The only downside is they smell like fish for the first 48 hours but it goes away.
BUY IT. It’s good quality and it looks real. Yes, it does have an odor at first but eventually it goes away. But I have them everywhere and love it.
great. i got this to create an accent wall in my dining room/bar area in my apartment. i actually got 2 packs because one wasn’t enough, but i love the results. i always get compliments from guests who come over. i have high ceilings and they ALMOST touch the floor. i remember there was a strong weird smell when i first opened them, and it was really annoying to keep them from tangling together. but Febreze and a little bit of patience went a long way. i would buy again if i needed to.
