Thick padding, wife loves it. My wife only asked for one thing for her birthday and it was a new yoga mat with plenty of cushion. Well, I’m um- not the hero of this story I got her diamond earring jackets, which I had ordered earlier from our favorite local jewelry store. So having not received a yoga mat for her birthday and needing one in a few days when her class started, she ordered this one that night. It shipped prime arrived on time and she was impressed when she unpackaged it on how thick it is and how nice the material feels. As I’m writing this my wife is next to me studying for her masters class and telling me what she likes about it. Her yoga class is at her work just before lunch and the exercise room where it is held has thin carpet squares over concrete and provides no padding. Thin yoga mats and ones that the foam is not dense enough make her feel like she is kneeling on concrete. When she uses this one she loves it and some of her coworker friends have knelt on it and are considering getting their own. She says yoga is much more relaxing now, she no longer notices the floor and that it was a great buy. She also likes that it rolls nicely and fits into the carry strap easily, which makes it easy to carry to and from her office and holds it rolled tightly when stored under her workstation (desk for us non IT people). She also says it wipes clean easily, stays clean and holds no odors. She did love the earring jackets to, just saying
Perfect mat for older bones and back! :-). First off, I want to be clear: I am NOT writing a review to get free products; that’s not me. I write reviews when something really wows me, or makes me happy. And also, to help other people in their searches. That aside, I have never owned a yoga mat, or even sat on one before this. I purchased this one in particular, after looking at about 30 or so- some up to $70! (Ridiculous!) And most cost more if you want an actual color. Not true of this mat. After reading almost all of it’s reviews, and reading the fact that it was THE number one top selling yoga mat, (on Amazon), it was the thickness I wanted, the right color, material, a 2-year warranty, and just $18?! I purchased it immediately! Two days later, I was very pleasantly surprised! It was packaged super great. I rolled it out, laid down, and wondered why the heck I didn’t do this earlier. Feels like heaven on my back. I’m a 53-year old female whose joints need tender care. I only do light yoga, stretches, am only 125 lbs., so I can tell that this will last me quite a while. Excellent quality. I could even sleep on it, in the event of an emergency. Lastly, it has Velcro straps to hold it together, and a nice shoulder sling. It is perfect!
From a Non-Yoga enthusiast. The first time I bought a Yoga mat, I plucked it out of the bin from either Ross or TJ Maxx. Then, I decided it wasn’t for me and I sold the mat. So, I wouldn’t know how to pick a good mat if I fell over it. I came here and purchased this one from the reviews. Again, I’m not a die-hard Yoga-er? Yogi? So I’m probably not giving it the “workout” it needs, but here’s a few things I noticed. When I unrolled it, it was nice and tight from it’s position. I had to lay it out, then lay on it to get it flat and ready to use. My dog was amused by this, but I’m not sure it counts as a position.It does dent. I’ve seen where others tear, but so far, mine hasn’t yet. But dents? Yes. I can see this as more of a “when” rather than “if.” The foam is soft– it’s bound to happen at some point.No noise noted. No squeaking or shifting, or “fart” noises. You can go about your routine in peace.I did notice a smell on my hands after. At first, I wasn’t sure what it was, but it was latex-esque or plastic like. I didn’t notice this during, but I did smell it after.To me, it’s squishy and comfortable. Like I said , I briefly used it as a make-shift cot prior to it’s official use, and I thought it was fine. Didn’t move, and for what it is, I thought it was pretty thick.I Love the strap, I love the color, it’ll do for now. Until it falls apart, I’m happy with it.
Nice mat. I’ve started working out again and I really needed something for the floor to do so on. I’ve kept my eyes peeled for a yoga mat or something on sale but hadn’t pulled the plug on deciding anything just yet, but when this gem hit Amazon Prime Day deals for $16 and some change- yeah, I snagged this. 100% worth it! The foam it’s made from seems pretty durable (aside from maybe sharp things: puppy teeth/cat claws/bird beaks, or maybe toddler picking at it) and its “cushy”. It’s also saving my back/hips/knees from hardwood flooring (cuz everyone knows hardwood floor + fitness = not a good time). I like it! Only complaint I could have is about the mat’s shape. It seems very long and not wide enough (shoulder to shoulder will fit, but just barely) then again- it *is* a “yoga” mat and I’m not exactly using it for yoga (though I probably should start doing that again too!)
Replacement of only a broken strap is not possible. Mat is ok, but the strap arrived “broken” – it was not stitched in the horizontal carrying strap – therefore, not able to carry on the shoulder. Thought it was not worth returning the entire mat for a broken strap. There is not way to ask for the replacement of the carrying strap, unless everything else is returned.
Very comfotable Mat. When I recieved the yoga mat , it was nicely packaged. I was able to start using it right away. I found it was very comfortable when lying on it. I did have a slight problem with the mat moving around on my tile floor. But for the most part it stayed in place . I look forward to longtime use .
Perfect for any yoga mat. I bought this to keep my yoga mat, wrapped and tight during transport. The strap is very comfortable and durable. I bought one for myself and my daughter. I highly recommend this. I did not make the yoga mat heavy, but rather kept it, rolled nicely. The Velcro is very durable and holds nicely. Packaging came on damaged and arrived on time.
Great mat. This mat turned out to be better than expected but that was surprisingly good! It supports so many moves with great comfort. The price was right!

Eaxcatly what I needed! Great beginner yoga mat. This yoga mat was a great purchase for the price and size. I am a beginner when it comes to yoga and this matt has the perfect balance of grip and softness. It is not too thick and very easy/convient to roll up and take with you. It’s still working well, even though there is some signs of wear & tear, but that’s to be expected with near daily usage. The household uses it for exercise, yoga, stretching and even for quick naps. For the most part, it’s comfortable enough and definitely has enhanced our experiences.It’s a got a decent 1/2 inch foam, that offers good cushion, good feel, non slip surface. Although, some household members wouldn’t mind being slightly thicker.The price point is ok at $20, any discount priced below that would be a good deal.

great mat. what can i say, it’s a nice yoga mat!i like the thickness. it’s flat and level but gives that extra cushion and support. perfect length for me (5’1ish). and i like the dark color. i also like the strap that it comes with to keep it rolled up but also to use as a carry strap, extremely convenient. and i dont find it hard to keep the ends flat even after being rolled up for awhile.purchase with confidence!

Great support, long lasting. I’ve had this mat for 7 years and it has only recently started to shed. I’d say that’s pretty good and it’s held up through countless workouts and yoga sessions. It’s perfectly cushioned and I always feel supported. I’ll continue to use this mat until it falls apart lol!
