Real Nice TV Stand Even For 77 Inch. Yet another Chinese piece of photographed wood furniture. This one we were very happy with. The color is great for most off white and retro looking. I have to say this was soooo much easier to put together than the bureaus with drawers. It was very straight forward to assemble with minimal pieces. They thought to put two extra legs in the middle of the bottom piece to reinforce and stop any bowing from weight. Being low at 24″ it is extremely stable and the top weighs a ton. We put a 77″ TV on it and it took up all but two inches of the top piece. It looks great and kind of downplays the large size of the TV. I tossed the mickey mouse school glue they included and used Titebond III wood glue. I put if liberally on the entire edges which joined and not just the little wood dowel plugs. An occasional wack with a rubber mallet or hard push with a hand and everything went together with totally acceptable tolerances. The cabinet doors are fixed hinges so no adjustment ability like a kitchen cabinet. They will line up as straight as you put the piece together. They can be very slightly adjusted by loosening the hing screws a little.All in all a very good piece which is sturdy, looks good and will last a very long time.
Time intensive assembly but a solid piece. I’m 8 months pregnant and was able to put this together myself. It’s not hard but as other reviews have said, it is time intensive! It’s solid and heavy, I ended up carrying the pieces upstairs and assembling it where I needed it. Would be easier with two people but one person can do it. Seems very sturdy. For $160 I’m very happy with this piece!Only negative is that the top piece seems like it bowed slightly (see gap where the drawer is) and it’s noticeable to me, but others probably wouldn’t notice without me pointing it out.
Almost a perfect experience. I wanted to give 5 stars but had to take a star away bc of how annoying the assembly was. Took almost 3 hours with 2 people to assemble this. It was really time consuming but was going pretty smoothly until it came time to put on the cabinet doors at the end. That was the most time consuming part of this whole thing and we couldn’t get the magnet pieces attached at all, so I bought command strips to attach it instead and that worked out perfectly. I also didn’t attach the plastic pieces in the back of it, not even sure what that is for. Overall, it’s a really nice TV stand and it’s super sturdy. I have a 65” TV on it with no problems!
TV Stand. This TV stand was just the right size I needed, very pretty in my living room. matches my floors, i’ve had so many compliments on this stand. Very sturdy and heavy. Walker Edison is to be my only furniture purchase in the future.
Nice looking and good value. Affordable, yet stylish TV stand for my living room. I was nervous because several reviews mentioned how difficult assembly was. I’m not a very handy guy, but it took me about two hours to put together. Just follow the directions with diagrams carefully and it’s no problem. If I can do it on my own without cursing assembly isn’t too bad!
