Nice cabinet to use for entryway shoe storage. I wanted a taller cabinet to store our shoes in the front hall but something that was more aesthetically pleasing and didn’t break the bank. It was hard to find a tall enough one and one that was the right width to fit that one section of wall. I bought 2 of these cabinets and stacked them. It was super easy since you have to add the legs during the assembly process so I just skipped that part and easily removed the wooden piece you would insert the legs in with a manualScrewdriver. The cabinet sits nicely flush on top of the other. The cabinet looks nice with the exception of the wooden handles it comes with. You will see in the one picture where I replaced the handles with nicer brass looking ones and left the old wooden ones on the bottom cabinet just to show the comparison. I was worried everything wouldn’t come together well or that it would look cheap. I think it looks great. The cabinet is well enough made but I also know it’s not solid wood and won’t last forever but for our purposes and storing lighter items such as shoes it should be fine. I bought some shelves from Home Depot and plan on adding 2 addional shelves in each unit to hold more shoes.
Seller response. At first we were pretty upset, because the furniture was sent to us after cancelling and we were notified we were being refunded. They ended up showing up at our door and when I went to UPS to return, I was advised it would be $200 to return. The label that was sent to us from the seller, would not work, because they’re large packages.Seller refunded us $200 and let us keep the furniture. Even though we don’t need it, we are going to figure out what to do or give it to someone since no matter what route we take we can’t really send it back without paying high shipping rates.My husband decided to put one together to see how it looks and it’s actually really nice piece for the price. Wood is thick and sturdy. Definitely a great piece to design with.
Price and quality is perfect match. Price and quality is perfect match. It is a 2 persons job to assemble. Not the whole part but initial steps. If you do not have a extra hand then find a place in your house were a wall support is there.It looks very beautiful. I have ordered one more.I like furniture which has legs so that i can clean underneath. This is just perfect. Have your expectations at particle wood furniture. you will not be disappointed.It is not wobbly.
Looks good/lots of storage room. I liked this so much I bought two even though the doors don’t line up. I needed storage for photo and craft stuff. Assembly would have gone more smoothly with two people as well as knowing ahead of time that the holes for hinges needed holes drilled behind the holes so the screw could fit properly.Since the wall behind cupboard is paneling (too flimsy to hang anything to it,) I didn’t secure the backing of cupboards with the hardware provided for more stability.
Great colors – easy to install. This was exactly what I was looking for with the black outside trim, and brown/beige doors. It was easy to install – but they’re a bit wobbly. I won’t be moving them often, so it doesn’t bother me that they’re wobbly.I especially like these because they’re one continuous shelf inside, so okay to store larger items. I removed the backing out of one and store my small microwave in it. 🙂
