Great quality video, head to toe cam added just a bit more needed resolution to the front door!1. I have good number of cameras, doorbells, and alexa devices all configured and paired together. I bought this doorbell to upgrade my front door. Wow is it nice!! I really can see the difference in verticle resolution. These have a lot of great options and features that really give you good control over your devices with a few major cons that really are hard to overlook and should cost a few stars.Pros. Great alerts, great video quality for just 1080p, range, and night vision. I can have it setup so if my front door gets motion alert, all the flood lights and cameras that can see that area light up and record. You can share with family members and determine what cameras they can see and which they cannot. I.E. we have a bedroom cam for our rottweiler puppy that has a large crate we can see right into during these early training months. I’d rather not having my teenage kids seeing into my bedroom but them getting motion alerts for the doors is awesome.Cons. Local storage is blocked behind a paywall. I literally bought a 512gb microsd card and found out when I couldn’t find where to enable that you have to not just pay more than what I was before with one camera, but you have to move up to their most expensive 20 dollar a month plan!!! What… The…heck Ring!??! I’m reading also that even after you do this, you can’t use both cloud AND local storage.. This is double dumb and downright either HORRENDOUS design by the developers or just intentional extortion via nickel and diming of their already paying customers.I’m a 25+ year IT professional. In EVERY camera system or data suite you care about, local and cloud storage together IS the bee’s knees. It should be available on cloud no matter what in case of fire/ring alarm theft and local storage used for faster replaying of recent events up to the amount of data your SD card can hold.Rather than giving in and paying, I returned the SD card and said screw it. I previously was paying about 3.99 a month for my single ring camera. I got tired of maintaining my local IP camera setup and needing a vm (virtual machine) running to record and eating up storage on my NAS to save it all. I was stoked when I saw the local storage. I dropped over 500 bucks on doorbell cams for back and side doors, flood light cams, and interior cameras to ensure our pets left home are fine and being checked on when we go on longer trips. I was OK moving up to 10 dollars a month for all that I get. Adding another 10 on top for something that costs RING NOTHING for me to use. is unacceptable. This is just a money-grabbing paywall and it needs to stop.Lastly, the biggest operational con besides this is the poor integration with Alexa for scheduling camera functions. I.E. I do like getting driveway alerts via the alexa when motion is detected because its a blind spot inside my house. One window on the back side of the house can see the driveway due to garage location. I set a schedule or snooze it to not give motion alerts if I’m having people over and it completely ignores this schedule and gives endless motion alerts via the alexa devices. Stupid annoying and it seems people have been complaining about this on the forum since 2018.
Best Bang For Your Buck. It’s been 40 days since I bought and installed this and battery life EXCELLENT. It is approximately drains about 1% day – for my use case – which I kept all the settings to the recommended.Apart from every other reviewers’ pros (and cons), I’m facing a minor issue. I have multiple ECHO devices all around the house and use all of them as my “Chime”. So it announces any motion detection on all of them – however it did miss the announcement a couple of times (and didn’t record the event either). The “Package Detection” feature also seems – hit or miss – sometimes. You don’t have to subscribe – unless you require cloud storage – and I find it very cheap – for it provides the most – PEACE OF MIND.Even it was only just over a month – I already started feeling like I can’t live without this. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
Great. Ez to install if u r running on battery power alone. If you wire it you will have a cord running behind ur door.Head to toe view is amazing and the depth (how far out it sees from the door looking out) that it catches is pretty impressive. The battery life goes pretty fast, I have to charge at least once per week. So I just pick one day a week to charge for a few hours as part of my routine. It needs a better form of security for the unit it’s self, my husband had to actually screw it to our door. The ring can get annoying, awesome that u can change the sound, yay!It has perimeter options, night light options, head to toe, like I said, amazing.I do feel more secure having it. I can see who is at my door and they have no idea I’m viewing them or I can choose to talk to them or they can ring the bell or even leave a message on the ring assuming I’m not home. The options are pretty good for this lil gadget. I recommend getting the cheapest per month package so u can keep ur recordings.
Works great. Excellent video quality. Finally decided to get a video doorbell. Love it. Now I know anytime someone is at my door. The $30+ yearly fee to record and access videos is worth it to me. I also purchased the indoor chime. Works great. The doorbell was easy to install. Be sure and put it at the height recommended in the instructions. My old wired plain doorbell had quit working, and I could not troubleshoot what was wrong. So I purchased the battery operated Ring. I got the quick change battery model. And bought an extra battery pack. It’s very easy to change. Tool is included. The battery lasts quite a long time. The Ring app is great. Everything is accessible. And an added benefit is Neighbors on the app. People in your area with Ring post messages and info.
Easy to set up and connect with Echo devices. This is so simple to set up, great video quality, and easy to connect with my Echo devices. Don’t even need a chime. Someone walks up to the door and echo alerts us! Same with the door bell, you just use your echo. Don’t forge5 to turn it off at night if you don’t want to be told that the Amazon delivery just got dropped off at 4am. So far we are super happy with it! Let’s see how long the battery lasts.
Great Camera Quality, Customizable Notifications, Easy to Install. I debated for a long time about which door camera to get, and after reading a ton of reviews, I decided on this Ring Doorbell Camera. I wanted the Head-To-Toe one so I could see the ground for packages. It not only comes with super easy set-up instructions, but it also comes with a AA battery and charging station. ALSO WORKS WITH ALEXA. When someone rings the doorbell Alexa will notify you.Box: In the box is the camera, instructions for set-up and how to add your device to the mobile Ring App. It also comes with an extra battery for charging the camera, extra screws, and a wedge to lower the angle of the camera (it can tilt down or to the side depending on your space).Mobile App: The mobile Ring app is user friendly and easy to navigate. You can see all of your doorbell history free for 30 days (after that, it is $4.99 a month for the basic subscription). It is CHEAPER to pay for a year than to pay monthly. I chose the basic subscription because I only have one device and opted out of needing certain features (which is a personal choice). The layout of the app is clear and easy to understand and you can change the language.Camera/SoundQuality: The camera quality is excellent. It’s very clear even at night. Camera quality is one of the first things to look for when deciding on a camera and I have ZERO complaints so far. The video quality is just as good as pictures and when talking to someone, the sound is clear and easy to understand.I love being able to talk to people at the door from the app.Overall, I LOVE this camera. Idk why I waited this long to get it. 10/10 Recommend!!

Awesome battery powered video doorbell. This is the doorbell from great quality & easy, hassle-free installation. Wether you have an existing doorbell or not, or just need a temporary camera in place, this ring video Doorbell is awesome. I have 2 that I use at one of my properties. The batteries last for months without needing replaced. I bought 2 spare batteries just to limit interruptions. Works perfectly.
A Nice Upgrade. I got this doorbell Plus model used at a pretty good price. I have been using one of the older early generation models for the longest time and this is indeed a noticeable upgrade, it performs faster, smoother and the camera’s image quality is definitely more crisp and detailed. Also a lot wider view angle than what I had. Really happy with it.Having said that, there is no way I’m gonna pay more than $100 for something like this. These things are overpriced at the regular price.
Good monitor. I installed a ring peephole camera in previous home, so the setup with this was a snap (pun intended). Hardest part was not dropping those tiny little screws on the cover. Easy to install and use, but its not sliced bread. It happened to me. Porch Pirates. So we discussed and though, sure lets give one of these a try. Since its battery operated, install was easy, just two screws.Looking at advertising we though, sure we’ll get instantly notified is someone was gonna be on our porch about to take a package. In reality, the porch-pirate would be long gone. But at least you would have them on video. All told, it works pretty well. One unintended side benefit is that our (still working) doorbell is almost NEVER used. So if our dogs are NOT paying attention, people drop off packages and the dogs do not see them and go nuts.Pros:- easy install- easy battery replacement/removal to charge- the app is straightforward and pretty easy to use (once setup)- battery life is quite good. At least two month or moreCons:- the app can be a little confusing on how to best setup the device- the charging port is micro usb, not USB-C- detection time and notification is not as fast as advertising.- would recommend the indoor chime, else its just your phone being notifiedWould I purchase again: YesWould I recommend to others: Yes
Makes me feel safe. This has helped my anxiety so much. I am in a one bedroom condo , but it’s a duplex like set up (unit on top of-me – and a u it below me —so we share a door and stairs). Well I am or find if my neighbors behavior or company, nor that she does not own her even rent…- either way some trouble happened and now having this I know o one will even go near the deck d flight. The motion detector is great. The ni they price for basic is outstanding. I can get recordings and download em send them / save them/ whatever. Picks upVolume very well- you can hear everything ! I did this note for security, but as a doorbell it is fantastic too with different options for answering and leaving g messages. So simple to set up took five minutes (well maybe bit more ) but this is absolutely worth it if you just need something so you can check in on your house if ok vacation (the app allows you to watch live whenever – you can watch listen and even talk no matter where you are!). This is awesome for me. And if anyone does walk near or data it off my phone goes off, my Alexa show picks up the video, etc. it’s pretty cool. Definitely worth it! Has saved me so much stress.

Nice device when it works. My initial experience with Ring was rocky. There were bugs in the mode settings, support was poor AI, and and it took time to figure out how to turn off things like neighborhood, where you get the joy of getting notifications from neighbors from miles around you, like, two miles away “have you seen my cat?”.Once the dust settled and mode functions started working correctly, I have found the RING app to be useful and well done. You can set the sensitivity to the camera to a range that suits you, and tell it to ignore things like birds and house flies. The image quality is quite good, and I have been able to monitor my home and office in real time, even when overseas. The battery life is quite good, and seems to easily be able to last a couple of months between charges. It would be super nice if you could change camera modes on a schedule. Like I want my home office door to disarm from 9-5, M-F. I don’t want to have to go disarm it in the app manually every day. It would be nice if I could completely get rid of “neighborhood”. But overall the app is quite useful and it seems easy to add cameras and devices at will.
Nice quality. I’ve been using it for my front door and the quality has improved compared to previous models. The video resolution is crisp and the wide-angle view gives me a great perspective of visitors or deliveries. I also moved my older Ring camera to my back door and setting everything up was a breeze. It integrated seamlessly with my existing Ring account, which made the whole process super easy. It’s an excellent upgrade and a fantastic addition to my home security setup. Highly recommend it!
Ring Door Camera. Works great, great picture quality during daylight, not so much at night. Battery easy to change out. Instructions could be more user friendly.

Works great. Very durable, no lag, records well, perfect picture, great value, easy to setup. I have loved having this little ring cam.

Love it. Great price, super clear picture, works well, easy to set up!
