  1. Great Values for Baby. I’ve been taking this prenatal since before I got pregnant. I chose it due to the high vitamin values compared to other brands. I read a lot of reviews before choosing, most people saying it leaves no aftertaste, but that is not the case! You definitely burp it and taste it. There’s also over 7000% of Vitamin B12 that makes your urine really yellow as you pee it out, and you’ll even smell it exactly as the pill smells. Definitely don’t love that and now being pregnant, I’m finding these are hard to take because you have to take 3 and they really do taste awful. The only reason I didn’t rate lower and still take these is because of the high values. But yes, you will taste it. And it gets worse when pregnant! It meets most of the minimum necessities to grow a baby. My PCP and gynecologist don’t seem to care which prenatal I take, as long as it has enough folate. So these aren’t necessarily necessary, but I wanted all the high values for the baby. A plus is it doesn’t make you sick.

  2. Good prenatal but not for those with enough iron. This one does includes iron and is more rounded than most vitamins out there for a lower-middle price range. I wanted to try Thorne out before actually getting pregnant then switching to my expensive prenatals, but now realize the iron was too much for my body to take. If you know you are deficient in iron then this prenatal might work for you and you might not have the same experience as me.After 3 weeks, I’ve stopped taking these due to the gastrointestinal issues and immediate aches I get from these prenatals. It was immediate reaction when I started but I thought maybe it was my food, or just “getting used to it”. I peeled back the bottle label where the other half of the remaining ingredients were listed and remembered that the extra iron might be causing me these issues. Having too much can mess with your gut microbiome and I felt it was obvious by my daily bloat and stomach rumblings that my body was working way hard but in a bad way. Typically I’m very regular, but had multiple days of strain. For now, I will be switching back to my usual capsules that do not include iron until maybe later in pregnancy and could use the extra.Update: I stopped and my body is back to being regular, so confirmed it was this supplement. Also this brand/seller is extremely honest and responsive. They sent me a refund after seeing my review. I wasn’t expecting it but really appreciate that they care. Because of this I added an extra star back from 3 to 4 as I would be willing to try their other products.

  3. No nausea. I’ve been taking this prenatal off and on for around 6 years, and they seem to work just fine. I’ve had 3 extremely healthy babies in that time. I really liked them for early in my pregnancies because they didn’t cause nausea like all of the other prenatal vitamins I tried. I also chose them because they have folate instead of folic acid. I continue to use them postpartum. Downside is you have to take 3 capsules daily. For me the trade off in not causing nausea was worth it!

  4. Great brand. My nurse practitioner suggested I start taking a prenatal to get nutrients I was lacking in. These supplements along with Thorne’s B12 pills have been a life changer for me!

  5. The best one yet. I can no longer afford this prenatal, but it has been my favorite option so far. Of all the prenatal vitamins I’ve used this is the only one that has never affected my stomach in a negative way. Very happy with and wish I could go back on it.

Excellent. Like:-noticeably stronger hair and nails (never happened with other multivitamins or prenatals, or hair/nail/skin vitamins)-noticeably glowier / healthier looking skin-high quality ingredients-reputable brandDislike:-very mild iron scent, just swallow them quickly-nausea: to troubleshoot this side effect I take all three at night right before bed and never have an issue. They make me very nauseous if I take them in the morning. I’ve never tried taking them in the middle of the day like some other users have posted.

Take at night. Love:- Hair and nails are strong and thick- Skin has been nicely glow since starting these- Noticeably more mentally clear with more energy when I take these vs when I skip doses- No vitamin burpsDislike:- Can only take them at night otherwise I get super nauseous. However since switching to night I noticed morning sickness was a lot more bare able.- constipation! I sometimes have to skip a day or two to encourage my body to let go.- they smell strongOverall, I love these vitamins. They really do work. Just find the best way to take them for you and you’ll be really happy

  8. Higher end Prenatal. I’ve done quite a bit of research on prenatal vitamins for my last pregnancy. Thorne matched everything I thought my baby and I needed. It was a toss up between this and fullwell (but I couldn’t stomach 8 pills at once). Although it was tough to swallow 3 pills every day it is nearly tasteless and I didn’t have any after effects. I appreciate that Amazon offers subscriptions and free shipping.

  9. Clean and feel great. So I use to take Olly but recently been really into changing my diet and using clean products. This has been game changer for me personally. Since taking this my overall energy has improved. The only downfall is larger size pills and they sometimes taste fishy. Not pregnant currently but if your sensitive these might be hard.

  10. Quality vitamins. Thorne prenatal vitamins are at the top of list in most vitamin reviews I read when I was looking for vitamins. They are third party certified which is important to me. They do not upset my stomach or make me burp. Yay! The gel caps are on the large side but I don’t have an issue with that.
