Fabric is the perfect “in between” weight. When I first got these, I was a bit disappointed about the weight of the fabric, it’s very lightweight, almost like a T-shirt material. When that order arrived, I really didn’t think I’d get much use out of them. I was wrong. It was still winter, and I put them in a closet and almost forgot about them. Then on a cooler summer day, I was cold, but it wasn’t warm enough for my normal fleece sweatshirts. Then I remembered these buried in my closet and pulled one out. It was perfect! I was warm, but not overheated.I started to wear them when we went out to eat. I’m always cold in diners and restaurants, but my fleece sweatshirts are usually too much; I’m too warm with them on and too cool with them off, so I wind up draping them over my shoulders, and I’m constantly having to reposition them because they slip down. These lightweight sweatshirts are just perfect in a cold restaurant.I had originally purchased only 2 of these, but after using them all summer long, I bought 4 more. Now with the cooler weather moving in, I’m wearing these around the house, and when I go outside, I put one of my fleece sweatshirts on over them. I have a lot of fleece sweatshirts and wear only a couple of them because my skin is very sensitive and I can’t wear any scratchy material against my skin. After numerous washings, the once soft lining of my heavy fleece sweatshirts gets stiff and scratchy, and for me, very uncomfortable. So basically out of about 4 dozen fleece sweatshirts, I only wear a few of the newest ones that are still kind of soft. I’ve found that I can wear one of these lightweight sweatshirts under my heavy fleece ones, and I’m comfortable because these sweatshirts are just so soft. With using these as liners, I can now go back to using my entire collection of sweatshirts comfortably.As for fit, I always buy any kind of outerwear in a larger size than I actually wear. I do this so I can layer different articles of clothing, depending on how cold I am. I wear an XL, but buy sweatshirts and jackets in either 2X or 3X. The lightweight sweatshirts I purchased are 3X, but I feel they fit more like a 2X, so I would recommend sizing up a bit.All in all I really love these hoodies! If you are like me and are cold most of the time, these will give you the little bit of warmth that you need for those in-between conditions where you’re cold, but a fleece sweatshirt is too warm. These are just right.

A word to the wise…. I’ve purchased multiples of these lightweight hoodies in different colors over the years. I take them everywhere and live in them all summer with cold indoor air conditioned offices & buildings. I’m a 2x in most plus sized brands. The2x JMS hoodie fits more like a 1x on me. What I’ve found out by buying these again & again and not truly paying attention to the actual label brand, is that the Hanes Her Way slub hoodies (which are exactly the same hoodie in regular women’s sizing) in XXL fit much more comfortably than the JMS 2x. I can zip the HHW xxl and still have a comfortable fit & feel, but if I zip the JMS 2X, I look & feel like a stuffed sausage lol.Both brands have a similar oddity in that the bright colors are a tad smaller with less stretch than the black & white colors (although not enough of a difference to size up, just something I noticed). Bottom line with these- if you’re sold on the Just My Size branding, go up 1 size, or get the same thing in the Hanes Her Way in XXL.
Nice and Light. I was looking for a light jacket to wear in evenings, or layered under vests, etc. Totally fits the need. I like the softness, weight of fabric, fit….My ONLY complaint is the zipper; its a plastic rather than metal, so it’s difficult to zip and unzip. I work around it by never unzipping completely. I keep the bottom zipped, and pull it over my head. I don’t recall reading the description to see if that was noted. I now know to look for that point, as there was another brand/color I bought at the same time, and I have the exact same issue with the zipper. Its a great jacket
Nice and lightweight. I was looking for a lightweight full zip hoodie like this and I am very pleased with the fit. One caution: NOT colorfast. Wash separately.

They seems to be running larger now. Have to update my review. I wear these little hoodies daily, and am on to my third round of the exact jacket. This time they ran large! Had to return the 3x and get the 2x. I have not changed in size, but the hoodies did. They are thin – but that is why I like them. Perfect over a t-shirt.Older review was: I followed the other reviewers suggestions, and bought one size up. Fits perfect. The women who state the arms are short are not wrong – they are. I am 5’2,” and they hit right at my wrists. Typically a sweatshirt that actually fit around my middle would be beyond the end of my fingertips.
Nice hoodie for warmer weather. I was looking for a new hoodie and this one was a pleasant surprise. It’s very thin, but the material seems like it’s a decent quality and will be nice for Spring/warmer weather. The fit is nice, too. It’s a little more fitted than other hoodies I’ve owned, but I don’t mind it. I haven’t washed it yet, so I’m hoping it will hold-up well. I may purchase another one in another color. For the price – it’s a good buy.
Quality. I ordered a size larger than I normally wear based on other reviews. Glad I did, it is still a bit snug, but I am ok with that. I like that it is truly light weight. I have washed it 2 times now and so far so good on hold up.

Glad I sized up smells a little funny. I’m glad I sized up I usually get a 4 xl for a baggy look I was surprised how small the 5 xl is and the leave are perfect for my short arms but if you have longer arms that might be a issueIt’s thin but that’s what I wantedKinda smells but should go away with washOverall definitely worth the money

Lightweight, perfect for summer. I bought two of these, one white and one black for if you go somewhere who has the air conditioner set to cold. Two years later still look new, they wash up very nice, no piling, no shrinking. A very good buy. I’m not sorry I bought either one of these.

Really nice fabric, size is to big for me fits really baggy. This will be nice to wear in the spring not thick enough for a Florida winter but still a nice light hoodie.
true to size. Order your “regular” size. 3X would be my comfortable go to and I ordered 5X based on the reviews. This is a cotton hoodie, thin material and wrinkle city (why rated 4 stars). It did not shrink AT ALL in the wash as I expected so it’s a bit baggy, but it’s for casual around the house use. Colors are true and I’m overall happy with it.

Lightweight and comfortable. Lightweight jacket, t-shirt material. I work in a medical office and sometimes it’s a little chilly, this jacket is perfect. The fit is true to size. I wear a 4x, but bought the 5x since I would be wearing it over 2 tops, fits perfectly. I already have 2 more in different colors in my cart!
