Finally My Washer Is Clean. The smell and grime in my front loading washing machine had been bothering me for a while, but I didn’t really know what to do about it. It seemed like running the Tub Clean cycle (even with vinegar) wasn’t quite tackling it. I also wiped out the gasket and tub regularly, but what about the parts of the washer I couldn’t get to? I saw an ad, and decided to give this product a try. I’m super picky about ingredients and I use toxin-free laundry detergent (and toxin-free EVERYTHING) so I appreciate that this had NO FRAGRANCE. I don’t love that it contains PEG and EDTA, which are nasty for humans and the environment, but since I haven’t found anything toxin-free for this particular purpose, I opted to give it a try. Again I’m picky; most people won’t even care. Afterwards there was a lot of grime that had made its way to the opening of the washer, underneath the rubber gasket, as the instructions stated might happen. I used old rags to wipe that out as best I could. I even ran it twice in a row, the first time, since it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Now, I’m using it every 2-3 weeks and finding there isn’t quite as much grime after each usage. This product has changed the game for my laundry – no more stink!
Great Cleaner. I saw this product on social media, we live in Texas now, but moved here from Memphis which was humid. We had issued ever since my MIL closed the washer door and allowed mold to develop. I have battled this until now. I had to use this product a couple times to get rid of the mold and do not recommend using this with clothing. It appears to be Chlorine tabs. I made the mistake of washing a load of laundry after cleaning and some of my towels were damaged. I would recommend running a rinse and drain cycle after cleaning your washer with these. When I purchased these I noticed an odor coming from our washer and some mold around the inside of the rubber seal. I looked for ways to clean my washer online, this popped up on my feed. I am so happy I ordered them. That smell and mold are gone after just two cycles about one week apart. I have not had to clean my washer for about a month now. No funky odors in my clothes, I just used the clean washer setting about once a week while doing a normal load of laundry. Highly recommend this if you hare having issues or smells with your washer. Plus leaving the washer door open had been good. Doesn’t allow for condensation build up and seems to keep the front load washer aired out.
Got rid of that stank smell. I bought this for my parents washing machine and thank goodness I did because I had to use it for the first time the other day. I opened the machine to do a load of laundry and the smell that came from the washer was TERRIBLE. I mean just a nasty rank smell and mind you, my mom keeps it “clean.” So I followed the instructions and popped one of these suckers in and pressed “clean washer.” There was already a feature on the washing machine so I just used that and by the end of it, the smell was GONE. It didn’t smell like flowers and rainbows but it smelled SO MUCH BETTER to the point where I was comfortable enough to wash my clothes. I will definitely be using it again.
College students in dorms will LOVE these. I live in an on-campus apartment complex at Wichita State, and I believe that these washers and dryers are original to the building from 2017. For only being 6 years old, these washers have definitely seen better days, and the odor from them was quite bad, as well as some visible dirt particles in the bottom. When I came across these washer cleaner tablets, I really couldn’t quite believe the price, given the amount of tablets that were in them compared to other companies, so it seems like a package deal. Just one tablet run through the general electric washer here in my apartment absolutely blew me away. It smelled amazing, and my clothes are noticeably cleaner and fresher after the cycle. I recommend Active brand cleaner tablets to just about anybody who’s having odor and dirt problems with their washers, seriously these are incredible.
Thorough and effective washing machine cleaning tabs, great value. These washing machine cleaning tablets work extremely well to remove all the soap scum, grease, and grime out of the inner workings of your washing machine. The tablets are small and concentrated and work better than the much larger cleaning tablets that my washing machine manufacturer had recommended. Individually wrapped and extremely easy to use, just drop one into the drum of your washer. In my Whirlpool Cabrio I just run the Clean Washer setting. Instructions are also provided if your washer does not have a clean washer cycle. After one use my washing machine went from muck and musty smell to, nothing. All the soap scum on the outside of the wash basket had washed away and the inside had zero scent. None. That’s how you know it’s clean. Used on a biweekly basis, the box of 24 will last an entire year which is a fantastic value above more well known cleaning tablets. These are hands down the best available and a necessity to keep your washing machine running its most efficient and getting your laundry its cleanest.
Deeps cleans but there is a slight odor. These washing machine cleaner tablets are amazing! There’s a ton of gunk and grime they are able to remove from the washer. Super easy to use – just toss one in and run a cycle. My washer smells fresher and works better than ever. Only downside is my sensitivity to smell…there is a slight odor that lingers for a few days after. It still far outweighs not using it.
Worked better than expected. If you’ve never “cleaned” your washing machine, you should…and will probably be grossed out too! Previously used different brand about a year or so ago but definitely don’t recall being surprised (grossed out) at what I saw, like I was with this! Since using, white clothes actually appear brighter/cleaner and laundry is smelling fresher. Have not used dishwasher tabs yet, but will be soon and hoping for similar good results. Great value.
Works Great. Not only does it clean really well, but, my dishwasher smells wonderful after it is cleaned. As well as my wash machine. You get a lot for your money. Washing machine good, dishwasher didn’t work. I bought a dual pack with washing machine and dishwasher tabs.The washing machine tabs seemed to work well, but didn’t totally remove the stuff around the door gasket.I ran 2 cycles with the dishwasher tabs and there’s still dark greasy stains in the back where I can’t get to them.
AMAZING. I can’t emphasize enough how much I LOVE these cleaning tablets! If you think they’re too pricey it’s only because you haven’t experienced the miracle of both these products. So easy to use and they truly make a HUGE difference in your appliances. If you’ve never gone deep into your washers you will be aghast at how much grime they can hold onto, and I’ve used all kinds of cleaning products and methods for tackling the gook that builds up, but these tablets are the most effective and easiest way to clean. 100% worth every penny!!

This WORKS. My washer started having a “stale” smell to it, so my husband researched and got these cleaner tabs for me. What can I say, I use one 2 times a month, and there is no odor anywhere in my washer! We own 2 German Shepherds and 2 cats, so we have enough pet hair and stink to make a cow barn smell fresh! Love these tabs. This company also make coffee maker cleaner tabs (try saying that 3 times fast!) that I also highly recommend!
Washing Machine Cleaning Tablets. This product worked great. All the odors have disappeared. I would highly recommend trying this product. We cleaned our soap tray and rubber around the door before using as well but well worth the money.

After 3+ years of using these washing machine cleaning tablets I can say I fully recommend them.I recommend them to family members (especially my family members who otherwise wouldn’t even rinse there washer let alone scrub it) and to my neighbors.I have 3 early 2000’s top loading Kenmore washers. One at my house, one at my moms, and one at a house I rent out.For most of my life I’ve known you only get to keep things that you take care of and maintenance is HIGHLY IMPORTANT to machines you want to last. For 20 years of my adult life I have always Once a month taken a stiff brush, some liquid bleach, and hot water to scrub out my washing machines. I would then run the machine through a cycle with the hot water and bleach in it. Usually that was enough to get the tub visually clean, but some times there was still a faint odor of what I would describe as a mold smell.Most people don’t think about the OTHER SIDE of the inside of the washing machine tub. The side you can’t see. All the waxy fabric softener, soap residue, and dirt that is inevitably building up where you can’t reach.Since adding these cleaning tablets to my monthly cleaning I no longer smell anything inside my washer. It took a few washings to get it completely gone, these are 20+ year old washers, but they smell clean now, virtually like new.While they may not be perfectly clean because that virtually impossible, they are definitely as clean as they reasonably can be and MUCH MUCH cleaner than they ever were before.My towels never have any smell in them anymore.I don’t use fabric softener at all so if there’s any smell, chlorine, mold, mildew, body order, that’s left over I can smell it and will usually wash everything again. But that’s all gone now, which essentially saves money on needing to rewash things.I normally don’t leave reviews but I noticed a hand written note at the bottom of my most recent box of cleaning tablets informing me that this is a small family owned business. Since this is a very good product that I use on a regular basis and I believe it works. I really like this brand for appliance cleaning, nice fresh scents and seem to be effective. I have a lot of scale problems due to the hard water in my area and scum problems due to someone using vastly too much HE laundry detergent in each wash. The washing machine tablets are a lifesaver, I use them once a month or sooner if I start to smell the tell-tale whiff of mildew. Afterwards the machine smells fresh or at least neutral, and the drum is pretty shiny — there is often some dark/dusty/flakey residue that I just vacuum out.The dishwasher ones seem to have a harder time getting a great result, I either run it twice (as the instructions suggest) or fill the rest of the dispenser compartment with citric acid crystals to supplement the power (which I bought in bulk here on Amazon). After either the double run or the supplemented run the hard water deposits and white staining on the shelves is basically gone.

Clean washer, great product. I’ve been hearing great things about this product so after a few months I thought I’d give it a try since my washer really needed a cleaning. I have a self clean option on my washer so I used one tablet and let it run its course and I was totally shocked when the cycle was done. My washer was very shiny and it smelled cleaner than when I first started it. We have 2 pets and so ensuring the washer is clean is important. I’m happy I purchased this product and all the reviews I’ve been seeing and hearing weren’t wrong on this product. I’m pretty hesitant at buying impulsively I always make sure to do my homework before buying a product so this purchase was worth it. Plus it has a year supply for that cost, not bad at all. Great product and great quality. I understand some customers having trouble with it the first time due to the amount of water or the type of cycle they are using but thankfully I didn’t have that issue with the self clean setting, I saw it on someone’s review and tried that and it worked great.
