Keeps the sand out. I love being at the beach and being in the water. I do not like stepping on all the rocks and seaweed etc. that are in the water. So I began a search on water shoes that would be protective and yet not make my feet feel hot or overly constrained.PROSI have wide feet and these still allow for great wiggle room.I usually wear a size 6 shoe. This size was slightly large, but I think that the smaller size would’ve been too snug.The solid bottom is very protective (saved me from getting a push pin in my foot just the other day) while also being flexible. The sole is more like a ballet flat.The opening is perfectly snug to keep out the sand while swimming but not so snug that it leaves a mark.The material is lightweight so my feet stay cool even on hot days.The removable insert is held firmly in place by little nubs located on the sole of the shoe.CONSThe lining on the insert is already peeling off after only 6 uses.Must remove lining in order for the shoes to dry between uses.These water shoes definitely fit the bill. They are so comfortable without being overly fitted. The insert has a nice bit of cushioning without being chunky. I haven’t had any sand get into the shoes at all. Next best thing to being barefoot. These would definitely have a 5 star review if the lining of the insert was holding up better.

Worked as expected. My first time using shoes like these for the beach. I bought this pair and another pair in a different style from another company on Amazon. I am satisfied with both purchases. I have used this pair for over a year and they have held up. I am glad I purchased them. The fit seems true to size. It’s a water shoe so it has no arch support. It’s very easy to clean the sand off after being on the beach. They are lightweight and foldable which made them easy to pack in my suitcase. If your foot is on the wider side; I would suggest going up a size since the shoes do not come in half sizes. I have only hand washed these shoes with woolite or laundry detergent and lay flat to air dry. They have held their color and shape for me this way. Great pair of shoes and great price if you needing water shoes.

Slips on like a sock. These are form fitting, just like a sock. Except they have a thin firm bottom. It’s just enough to create a thin barrier to keep the yuckies off your feet. I really don’t like anything slimy touching my feet! But lakes in Maine can sometimes have icky parts on the bottom of a lake where twigs/leaves have fallen to the bottom have had time to collect slimy stuff. So they aren’t going to protect against sharp rocks very well because the bottom sole is very thin, but it will keep your feet from feeling the slimy ickies at the bottom of a swimming hole!If you are expected some rocks or anything sharp/pokey, go with something with a more substantial sole. But if it’s really just a slimy texture you are looking to avoid touching, these will do the trick and are very light weight.

One time use. Got 2 pairs for my children, they were great for our water park trip, but after day 1 they were frayed and coming undone, BUT they were comfortable, kept the kids feet well covered, and they weren’t slipping all over. So, they’re good shoes, just don’t plan to use them multiple times.

Comfortable and fits well. My husband and I were in a pinch and needed water shoes last minute for a kayaking trip. The stores immediately around us didn’t seem to have any for us to try on. We generally try to get recognizable brands for things like these, since we’ll be using them for years to come, but these were the only highly reviewed ones that we could find with next day delivery – and we figured if they’re only $10 each, we’ll just buy other ones if these fall apart or we don’t like them.We spent about 5 hours kayaking. We had to get into the water a few times and walked on rocks (not long distances, just here and there), and I fell off my kayak once also. The shoes remained comfortably on our feet. We did not do a ton of walking on land with these – we brought other shoes for that. I can’t speak to the long term durability, but the material felt good and there was zero wear and tear after our first trip. We’re going to continue to take these with us for outdoor water adventures. Nice price and worth the money.

The best for water sports. I bought these water shoes for my trip to Jamaica and i wore these way more than i thought i would. You can walk in these with no problem and they are not slippery after being wet and can walk on the floor.They were super easy to slip on and off and didn’t feel bulky or thick at all. I used them to go snorkeling, kayaking, ATV riding and they were great. Didn’t feel hot with them on and didn’t feel like they were uncomfortable. Super breathable and lightweight. I definitely recommend!

These are great. The media could not be loaded. For the low price of these water sock/shoes I wasn’t expecting much and was quite surprised at the quality. I bought these because I’m always going outside with just my socks on and got tired of putting holes in them so this was my solution. I use these as my indoor / outdoor socks. I totally like these for the following reasons:* Comfortable!*Very light weight!* Slip resistant* BreathableThese do fit a bit snug but a comfortable stretchy kind of snug if that makes any sense. I’ve been using these everyday for about a week so far without any issues. I do plan on getting another pair so I have a dedicated indoor and a outdoor pair.

Comfortable, but it ripped. Great shoes for the price! However, the seam at the top of the shoe ripped my first time putting them on! They are very comfortable though.

Great comfort, long lasting and cute. Very comfy I wear 81/2, ordered and they fit great. Initially ordered for swimming at the Y. Great for pool walking and on the deck. Got another pair for around the house. The removal insert adds great padding. Wash in machine and air dry. Great price for a good product!!!
