Solid hardware with good app at a great price. I’ve dabbled in multiple sets of home automation solutions and consistently been disappointed with connectivity of the hardware and flexibility of the software. I bought these on Black Friday without much expectation despite the good reviews but they’ve really delivered.Installation is really simple with the combination of bluetooth to find the device and link it to your WiFi. It’s nice to have the ability to adjust the hue of the light so these can blend in with other lights in the house. The application has the capability to create multiple “scenes” which is the main feature I want in smart lighting. I’ve set multiple with different clusters of lights turned on/off, dimmed to different levels and with different hues depending on the time of day.I had to play with the app for a while to figure out how to best set this all up. There may be a tutorial online or a guide that I missed in the box but it wasn’t too difficult to figure out. You just need to do a little trial and error to figure out what the different capabilities enable. Given these are LEDs, I expect them to last for multiple years; that’s really the only proof point that I’d need to give these a full endorsement but so far they’re excellent for the price.

Bulbs good, everything els…meh. I like the price. I like the bulbs for the most part. I thought they were the RGB type, but then I recall I was seeking a higher temp color, which is why I ultimately chose these bulbs.It took longer to install the bulbs and get them working because the app (running on my Android mobile device) is not well written. The organization of the app is poor and the help is minimal and not useful. fortunately, the operation of the bulbs is fairly straightforward once the setup is complete. Unfortunately, I find that to get optimal settings and scenes for the bulbs I must frequently use the TreaLife app and the TreaLife Alexa skills.About those Alexa skills: MEH!I think the skill is woefully weak and not imaginatively conceived. Alexa does not know a lot about the bulbs and many actions one would think useful for a bulb, Alexa or the bulbs do not support. I am still trying to figure out how many ways Alexa can control the lights. I note that I am using a pair of bulbs over my bed. One bulb is over my side of the bed and one is over my wife’s side of the bed. The grouping capability in Alexa does not work well in my opinion, requiring me to say more than I want to get the setting I want. I’d like a skill where Alexa can set one bulb to the settings of the other, for example, “Set Light 1 to the same color as Light 2” or “Set Light 1 to the same temp as Light 2.”In the TreatLife app, the “cool” minimal design is not useful because the adjustment controls are not friendly to those with visual accessibility needs. This really sucks! I cannot overemphasize this point. Also, the scene editing is limited and limiting–even for a basic bulb like this. Many of the features in the app are unexplained or poorly explained, require a lot of experimentation–which I don’t mind if such experimentation yields understanding.Overall, I like the bulbs because they are bright and the color is adjustable from warm soft white to harsh cool bluish-white. I would like them to be a bit warmer and offer finer adjustments to color and brightness. If you need fuller-featured bulbs, these are not the bulbs you’re looking for. However, for the price, they get the job done.I may revisit this review as I become more familiar with these bulbs.

Great product. I am so pleased with these smart lights. Easy to set up. It’s so nice to be able to control my lights from my bed and especially when I am away to give the appearance that I am home. I control the lights with an app on my phone.

Good to buy. The smart bulbs are reasonably price and have more features and modes than the similar recognized name brand smart bulbs which they imitate. love that these smart bulbs have the ability to be used in different settings. easy to set up.

Tje beet light for our nursery. The media could not be loaded. We absolutely love this lightbulb that we can use with our Alexa device. I love that you can control the color of the lightbulb from your app as well as the brightness to it. You can also set a schedule of when you want the light to turn on and off at different times in the day. I wanted something that we can control by voice in the nursery and it’s the perfect light bulb for the room. Very easy to set up and very user-friendly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who was thinking about buying it. It also was less than $10 which is even more amazing

Reliable and Long-Lasting Bulbs – Still Going Strong After 2.5 Years. I purchased four sets of these bulbs (16 bulbs total) back in December 2022. At the time of purchase, two bulbs were faulty, but I contacted customer support, and they quickly sent me a replacement pack with four extra bulbs — great service!Since then, I’ve used a total of 18 bulbs from this product, and all of them have been working flawlessly. As of April 2025, after more than 2.5 years of regular use, every single bulb is still performing perfectly. That level of durability at this price point is seriously impressive.Based on my experience, I believe these bulbs are solid and dependable. I highly recommend them, assuming the brand maintains this level of quality going forward.

excellent customer service. I ordered a four pack and one of them did not work. I contacted treat life customer service directly and they sent me a replacement with in 2 days. excellent customer. I’ve never had a problem connecting their bulbs.

Economical, Reliable, Dimmable Smart Blubs. My old smart bulbs were burning out rapidly, and the current cost of replacements is simply ridiculous. Looking for a more economical solution, I landed on Amazon’s top inexpensive smart bulb, and I’m genuinely impressed! These bulbs connect effortlessly with Alexa and Google, and so far, they’ve been perfectly reliable. Installation was surprisingly simple—if you can cycle a light switch a few times, you’re all set. The basic control app makes dimming and setting up automations very intuitive. I bought two packs, totaling eight bulbs, but two were unfortunately dead on arrival. Despite this minor issue, the value and performance of the working bulbs are excellent, which is why I’m still giving them a solid 4-star rating.

Affordable Alexa compatible smart bulbs. After a popular brand stopped supporting Alexa, I was in a tough spot and wasn’t sure if a different brand would measure up. I’m happy to report these bulbs are fantastic! Setup was incredibly easy with zero issues. They are affordable, work perfectly with Alexa, and the best part is that you don’t need a separate hub. If you’re looking for a reliable, hub-free smart bulb, this is it.
