works for home grooming of my dogs. I have 2 shih tzus and have been grooming them at home for the last 3 years. My clipper set came with straight scissors and the thinning shears but they didn’t work great. This set is nice because the curved scissors really help give them nice, rounded faces. The thinning shears also worked better than my other pair to soften up their edges.
I love it but my dog despises it. All the scissors cut well and the comb is nice and its case is very nice and as a spot for everything. The only downside is my dog runs every time I get the scissors out because she doesn’t like getting haircuts.
Impressed. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and performance of this scissor set. Didn’t want to invest too much so wasn’t expecting much. Smooth cuts, great weight and feel to the scissors. I’m right handed so can’t speak to use for a leftie… though if I recall the product description, these are good for either hand 🙂
Good product. I use them frequently. Love the rounded end of the scissors because that way I do not hurt my puppies by accident

The rounded edges are perfect and protect from harm. The sturdy case is convenient to keep them all together and easy to pull out when needed. The price was fair for the quality. The comb is great; strong and the two sides are perfect for grooming!

Excellent grooming kit. These shears are have worked great when grooming my poodle/shih tzu mix. Definitely very sharp, I have cut myself a couple of times. I really liked the curves shears for when grooming around my fur baby’s face, it makes it very easy to give her that round “teddy bear” look. Thinning shears work perfect when removing all that extra bulk of hair she has, without taking away the length. The case is very helpful keeping everything together and staying organized!

In the evenings, the cat will lay next to me on the sofa and lets me stroke her, finding her mats. This is a nice set of safety scissors for cutting out said mats.
