Soft and adequately padded. It’s very difficult to find acrylic socks of any kind, much less thick well-padded acrylic socks for diabetic men. These thorlos socks almost fit the bill. They’re a bit light compared to some we’ve found in the past but adequate to protect fragile feet. We’ll see how long lasting they are. Acrylic yarn has a relatively short life compared to cotton or polyester but its so much softer, warmer and more comfortable so it’s worth the extra expense of replacing them more often.
