The big picture. a LOT of information here. Taking my time to read it and will probably go back and read it again. I’m enjoying how it ties so many things together. A wonderful piece of work!
Very interesting and a modern new way to looking at astrology. Incredible book! The writer manages to put together theories of the unified fields and sacred geometry, and makes a clear new way of looking at astrology with new and freest eyes. Very profound research.
New Map for Territory Ahead. The new paradigm is here. Jennifer Gehl not only gives an accurate view of where we are but also of how we got here. Her review of the earliest healing modalities and healers stands as a gem itself, a veritable Cliff Notes of the classics and obscure alike. We are introduced to the science of vibration, sound, and energy and their relationship to healing in a way that’s accessible to the layperson but full of substance for health and wellness veterans. After all, it’s an energetic universe! Concepts such as sacred geometry (which should be taught to every student) reflect the fact that matter is condensed energy and always follows the implicate order of energy patterns underlying everything in the universe. As you follow the narrative that Gehl skillfully weaves, it is easy to comprehend that we live in an energetic universe and that there are rules to it that we haven’t been taught. Any person with an ounce of curiosity has to be chomping at the bit. “As above, so below” the saying goes. If we look around us, we can see that the universe is constantly sending us signals once we learn how to look and listen. In Planetary Signatures, Jennifer Gehl invites us to consider the possibility that we haven’t heard the whole story regarding health and that taking the journey to understand a new, more comprehensive worldview is not only delightfully entertaining, but yields us our biscuit at the end: new modalities using this information to achieve balance and healing in our energetic universe!

An excellent overview of the history of planetary medicine; short on actual medical astrology. I have nothing but the deepest respect for the accomplishment embodied in this book; it is scholarly, comprehensive, well-researched and certainly worthy of addition to any astrologer’s bookshelf, particularly if they are interested in knowing more about the historical sources of medical astrology. It also brings in considerations from the Eastern healing traditions, which is a unique aspect of the Acutonics sound healing system of which Ms. G is a proponent.Where it falls short, in my estimation, is that it offers nothing to the actual medical astrologer about practice or techniques (perhaps this is intended in a future book?); there is no interpretation of horoscopes from a medical perspective in the book, save for a single hypotheticial case in the final chapter.This is somewhat surprising, because Ms. Gehl is a member of an esoteric community that routinely uses planetary tuning forks in healing treatments, the frequencies of which are derived from actual planetary motion. The use of these forks in a method of vibrational bodywork, utilizing among other aspects of the human bioenergetic field, the points and meridians of acupuncture, can present the serious astrological medical practitioner with the potential for authentic planetary remediation, in an extension of traditional techniques, such as the Vedic upaye. However, this exciting aspect of this medicine is not explored.Nevertheless, I would wholeheartedly recommend the book as an excellent resource …
