Sweet, light, magical detangler 4 hair disasters. Effective for detangling, even under disaster conditions–Before and after pics included.Sooo…I had a real nightmare of matted knots on my head. My hair is baby fine, very fragile, poker straight, and very thick. My sleep bonnet went missing, my brushes went missing, and I’d given up my bed to a friend in dire straits and was sleeping on a cordoroy couch. I’ve been narrowly avoiding foreclosure during the pandemic, and truly didn’t have the money to spare to buy extras of something I *knew* I had… I just couldn’t find it. I work from home, with no video conference meetings, so I typically just put my hair up and tried to find the missing items while trying not to think about the growing rat’s nest on my head.The cordoroy was causing mats I couldn’t guard against because of the missing bonnet, and I couldn’t brush them out because I couldn’t find my brush, and finger combing wasn’t cutting it.This went on for weeks before I bit the bullet (yes, I routinely washed my hair– I just couldn’t brush it out)–the mats were several inches deep, thick, and wide. If a brush and detangler didn’t work, I was resigned to cutting it all off. You can see a bit of how bad the problem was in the before photo.I settled the honest company’s detangler, a detangler brush, and a wide toothed comb because they had good reviews, were economical, and would get here FAST. As you can see–I was approaching the point of no salvaging my hair, but I at least wanted to try.I nearly gave up a couple of times, but I finally triumphed. The scent is reminiscent of an orange creamsicle, very sweet, but not offensive to me. The formula seemed nice and lightweight, it made my hair feel softer and more moisturized, and most importantly, performed the desired task of acting like near magical WD40 for hair in loosening up and helping unsnarl even the worst knots and mats. My hair in the ‘after’ photo is still full of detangler–but absolutely tangle free, and you can see the dramatic difference. Aside from blocking out my face, no alterations were done to the photos.As a result, I highly recommend the honest company’s detangler for tackling truly horrific hair disasters. It works and is effective.

Untangles long hair and leaves hair soft and smooth. I wanted to try a product to untangle my hair. I use extremely expensive shampoo and conditioner, but that doesn’t help when I remove the towel on my hair and it is a wet rats nest. I have tried several products on the market, including salon ones to help me with this problem. I absolutely loved this product! Not only did it smell like a Creamsicle, it de tangled my hair, and also added a bit more conditioning before I blew dried and straightened my hair. The reason why I bought this product was from reading the reviews. I never heard of it and the product I tried before, I returned, because it made my hair extremely dry. I highly recommend purchasing this product if your hair is tangled and needs a bit of extra conditioning before blow drying or styling your hair. It definitely did wonders and saved me an enormous amount of time getting my hair untangled.
Not my favorite. I started using this when I was maybe 5 months postpartum for my horrible tangles. I have type 2C curls and the tangles are awful. My postpartum hair loss was already bad and then when I would brush it I would lose more after pulling out the tangles. I got this to spray on it and I would have to spray A LOT for it to even make a difference. I discovered the Eva NYC hair conditioning mask and used it for the first time. I of course sprayed this detangling spray before I brushed and it was a world of difference after. It was much easier to brush after using the hair mask than it was before. I think my expectations were just a tad high and my hair was more damaged than what i thought. I still don’t like that I had to spray a lot more product to see results. It smells good, and the price isn’t bad. I will probably try another brand to see how they compare since I didn’t get the best results the first time around though
Long haired teenage boy hair. My 16 year old has really long curly hair. Being the typical teenager he only brushes his hair once a day before school, zero times if he isn’t leaving the house. After the first several days of school and waiting 40 minutes for him to comb the tangles out of his hair I threw in the towel and decided to find a product to make it easier for him.Pros:-Makes it easier for my son to comb his hair thoroughly-Has a pleasant smell-1 bottle will last a couple weeksCons:None
The best. This is the best detangler I’ve ever used. It smells so good. It really works to detangle your hair. Definitely will continue to use this. Great product. I have no frizz when I use this. Hair looks great too. Keeps my hair soft, smelling great, and tangle free.
Great for the whole family. If you have kids with sensitive heads, this is a must! Great detangler and it smells wonderful! Perfect for my soft-headed daughter. I even use it to help comb my son’s hair, instead of just getting it wet. I love using it on my own long hair when it’s extra frizzy and tangly. It’s become a staple in my home.

The product comes out in a light mist, as opposed to a heavier spray, so I end up using a good amount each use. My daughters hair is long and she has loose curls that generally tangle at the bottom. There have been times after activities like swimming when the tangles happen in the back, center of her head pretty badly and the spray does help. It has a pleasant natural fragrance similar to orange creamsicle that is not overwhelming. It leaves her hair soft after air drying. I do wish the bottle size was larger for the price because it goes fast for us!

This Detangler’s So Good, My Kid’s Hair Finally Gave Up the Fight. Listen, getting a comb through my kid’s hair used to be like wrangling an octopus in a windstorm. But then, I found this Hair Detangler, & now? It’s like her hair’s surrendering peacefully. A few sprays of this citrus vanilla magic, & suddenly, those knots just slide right out. It’s like my kid’s hair finally decided to stop fighting back!Plus, it smells so good! Like, tropical vacation good. And it’s tear-free, hypoallergenic, cruelty-free—the whole good-for-you checklist, so I can feel good about using it. Now, my kid doesn’t run when they see the bottle, & I don’t need a wrestling match to get them looking halfway decent. This little bottle’s a miracle worker.
Excellent product for my toddler. My baby has curly hair and I’ve been trying so many different products for curly hair. I’ve tried many but finally found something that is healthy for her hair and smells amazing! It really helps with the detangling as well. We are very happy with this!

Great hair detangler. Got this for my kids hair. It smells nice and works good for fine hair and keeps my baby’s curls plump and curly. My older daughters hair is more thicker and I need more of the product on it for her hair to fully detangle. It smells great. And great ingredients.
