  1. Solid Lightweight Mop + 2 Hacks To Save You Some Moolah. So I already owned a Swiffer Sweeper mop (the green on that doesn’t spray) so I had a fair idea regarding the quality of the product. Long story short it’s a solid mop for the price point. Are there better mops out there? Yeah of course but for a mop in the mid $20 range it’s hard to beat. In my opinion the reason they sell this for such a low price is because they intend to make their profits over the long run with disposable pad and cleaning solution refills. In business school they called this the disposable razor strategy, give away a cheap razor and make your money over the long run selling cartridges…That said I’ve got a couple hacks that can make it so you don’t end up spending $100+ over the life of your mop. I wish I could take credit for them but I honestly saw a youtube video and I’m just parlaying the info into this review haha.First things first though let me cover a few of the pro’s and con’s.Pros:- It’s very lightweight & easy to move around for cleaning. Also comes with a swivel head which makes it convenient to get into tight spaces- It’s reasonably compact so it’s easy to find a place to store it.- It comes with batteries for the handle trigger so you don’t have to go to the store to get them.Cons:- The cleaning solution and disposable pad refills are expensive- The disposable pads don’t pick up a lot and really only work well for light messes.- It’s not a super durable mop so I imagine I’ll have to replace it eventuallyMoney Saving Hacks:Tip 1: To save a ton of money on the cleaning solution you can just cut a small hole in the back of a cleaning solution bottle and then refill it with whatever cleaning solution you want. I personally just use vinegar with a little dawn soap and it works great for me. Then just use a standard cork (good excuse to drink a bottle of wine) to plug the hole.Tip 2: Buy some quality microfiber pads for the mop. There are a handful of companies (on amazon) that sell reusable microfiber pads for the Wet Jet mop. I personally bought the Turbo kind but searching reusable wet jet pads on Amazon brings up a ton of different options. Once you’ve got some reusable microfiber pads just throw them in your laundry with your towels and you’ll save a literal fortune on disposable pads while also making the mop way more effective.Obviously it depends on how often you clean and how large your place is but personally I’m saving over $20 a month by doing the two above things while still getting all the convenience of the wet jet mop.

  4. Good product. I like the product. This is my second time buying it. However it did not come with the batteries like it was supposed to. Slightly annoying because it meant I had to go to the store which I was trying to avoid by buying this on Amazon. However despite that quick delivery and great product. I highly recommend it. I do suggest buying a reusable mop pad for it though. It will save you money in the long run.

Use this at my Job and Had to Have one for my Home. I absolutely loveeee using a swiffer wetjet. It makes cleaning the house bearable and the cleaning solution smells good! This is also a great bang for your buck because it comes with everything you need (including the batteries) to start mopping right away!

  6. There is no reason to mop anymore. What a neat Product! This is roughly the same price in stores but it has x4 extra heavy pads and x6 regular pads and a mini bottle of spray that will likely last through all 10 pads. (The ones in stores only have x2 heavy duty and x3 regular, so this pack includes double the mop pads than the store versions for the same price, which I think is important to note if you are solely focused on price).I was at the store yesterday comparing what I got to a store version (before it got delivered) and that is when I noticed that they are the same price but you get double the amount of pads in this starter kit (which from what I saw is about a $9.99 savings value in mop pads for a x5 pad refill box)… the trial sized bottle of cleaning solution will likely go out before you need to buy new mop pads. It does not take that much spray to clean.I suspect I could do a full floor mop about 40 times before the liquid would be gone, judging from the amount I copiously used on my first time.Overall, it’s worth it. Yeah it’s the same price as stores, but you get double the amount of pods and the pads are not exactly cheap.I also heard, although I would use caution doing this, that when the liquid is gone, you can drill a small hole into the bottle, dump in some floor cleaner you have, then either tape it shut or cork it shut (near the bottom since the bottle is inverted when being used, and the top has a rubber seal to prevent leakage while also feeding in the cleaning solution). I have not tried that, but I will.It also HAS batteries included (they are in the “normal” pad bag, somewhat hidden)… at first I thought they didn’t come in the package due to some other Amazon reviews, and I have no spare batteries, so I thought I was out of luck until I started feeling into the sealed mop pad replacement bags… There is even a little text on the plastic packaging on the pad bag that says “batteries inside”. I am glad I checked in every bag since I genuinely thought I didn’t get batteries which would have been very upsetting (batteries are like $5 now). While I vacuum my floors every 3 days, I smartjetted my apartment floor (first time in 3 years) with the heavy pad and was surprised how much invisible soot is on the floor. It feels cleaner when I walk barefoot, and it “looks” much cleaner; and if the refill solution kills 99.9% of bacteria like it says it does, even doing a pass on a clean looking floor helps actually clean it without just looking clean (like vacuuming).Although vacuum your floors first before using the wet jet. If there are little crumbs and bits of stuff on the ground, it’s not going to let the middle scrubbing pad fully make contact with the ground… although it surprising picked up all those little bits my vacuumed missed and keep them sealed inside the mop pad, so there was not loose debris when I took the pad off, which is a plus since gross debris falling off as you switch pads sort of negates the cleanliness of it all (and that does not happen). Also, this must be an updated/industrial grade Swiffer, it has the plastic shaped Velcro notches on the bottom of the mop head, so you just press on a pad. The older one’s you had to pinch the corners into little rubber slots. The pads still have extra fabric if you have an older wet jet that you need to pinch in the fabric corners to hold the pad on, but this new one you can just lay a pad on the floor and tap it with the mop piece and it connects. You should get one of these. You’d be surprised what your floors actually look like even if you take good care of them, when you actually get them wet and scrub (which is easy with this wet jet… it’s like vacuuming but mopping) no gross mop buckets and no hands and knees scrubbing.I would whole heartedly recommend!

  7. Does the trick. Needed a swifter. Amazon had one. Not sure how the price compares to the same item in local stores. I do know that within 2 days I was able to clean my floors. Does a good job.

  8. Does a great job on my tile floors. I have a steam mop that I use on my tile floors and while it does a great job it is heavy and it has to be plugged in. I also have to refill it with distilled water to make it through the house and I’m constantly moving the plug from room to room. I saw this battery powered Wet Jet Sweeper on sale on Amazon and I thought it would be convenient for touch ups between moppings. It was easy to assemble and it came with 2 AA batteries that were easy to install. It is lighter than my steam mop but the real shock was that it cleans so much better! My steam mop has a thick washable cloth on the bottom that gets dirty and after a while it seems to transfer the dirt back to the floor. I used the Wet Jet and it does a really good job of trapping the dirt and keeping the floor cleaner. I have already used it for quick clean-up of of spots in the kitchen and in the dining room near the dog’s food and water-making sure the floor was completely dry before the dog came in-and I don’t know how I got along without it!It came with 10 disposable pads and I am still on my first one. You can also order cloth pads that are washable and reusable and I may look into that after I use all the disposable pads. In the meantime I am impressed with how easy and convenient the Wet Jet is and it’s great not to have the hassle of the cord! I forgot to mention that the cleaning solution leaves a nice clean smell that is not overpowering!!I highly recommend this mop and I think it’s a great value for the money.

  9. Easiest way to clean floors. I love this thing. It cleans the floors SO well! Love how easy it is to put on a pad, spray the solution, and wipe away gunk. I have three small kids so the floors get messy all the time, this makes the floors look spotless. You do need to use a little muscle but it gets even sticky messes up easily. The scent of the solution makes the whole house smell good for days. The only downside is the price. I feel like it could be cheaper in general. The starter pack is pretty small so you definitely need to buy more supplies, they arent the cheapest but it works really well. I can use one pad for my entire living and kitchen area which is probably about 500sq ft.

  10. I guess I really can’t complain for the buy. It did finally work when I first got it it wouldn’t work. I went and bought new batteries. It still would not work. Come to find out. I didn’t have the handle push down in it to where it snaps for the batteries to make the stuff come out other than that it works great.

  11. Better than the original Swiffer. I have the basic Swiffer with the replaceable wet pads. I’ve used it for years and I decided to give this one a try. I used to have to Scrub to get stains up but with the sprayer of this, the spots clean so easy. The refill is super easy to put in and lasts me a couple of months. This is lightweight and easy to fit in the closet. I use this all of the time now!!

  12. Easy to use and saves lots of time. How did I survive all these years of floor cleaning without this?! This mop works very well. It is easy to distribute the right amount of cleaner (although I often overdo it!) and mop the floor. No bending or wringing necessary. The pads work well at cleaning the floor and are durable enough should I have to do some spot scrubbing. If your floors are really dirty, you might need more than one pad per session. However, the time saved makes it worth it. I find that because it is now so easy to clean, I do it more often (which also helps the wood floors last longer!).

  13. It’s too small and I need to send it back .For a bigger size XL . November 15, 2024 at 12:00 am

The sprayer did not work. Just the sprayer did not work they way it should. Also because the sprayer wouldn’t work and gave me trouble. But Amazon was very kind to tell me to send it back. And I did.Thank you for your time.Maricela Ruiz

  14. love it. I have the green swiffer with the pre wet pads and it’s too much soppy wetness, leaves streaks and I it’s messy to put the pad on. So much wetness everywhere.I have the o cedar and I love it! There is minimal cleanup after. Dump bucket, clean it out and wash the mop head.I have the bissel wet/dry vac with steamer and love it but it’s not necessary. Does a great job but the cleanup after is time consuming and messy. Now I have this one and I forking love it! It’s not messy, it’s convenient, it’s affordable, doesn’t leave streaks, no clean up after.

  15. Worth it. This is probably my fifth time buying the Swiffer Kit and for good reason—I absolutely can’t live without it! Every time I move to a new place, I make sure to get a new one because it’s just that essential to my cleaning routine. The WetJet is so easy to use and incredibly effective at keeping my floors spotless. The spray mop system is perfect for hardwood and other surfaces, and it never leaves streaks behind. I love how lightweight and convenient it is, making cleaning quick and effortless. If you’re looking for a reliable, no-fuss way to maintain beautiful floors, this is the product for you. I couldn’t recommend it more highly!
