Super Convenient But Upgrade to Reusable Pads. If you haven’t heard of the Swiffer you’ve probably been living under a rock. That said I had never owned one until now. We recently swapped out our carpet floors for bamboo so we needed something easy to clean it with that wouldn’t take up a ton of closet space. I guess all the commercials worked because I gravitated towards this mop.It shipped quickly, was easy to assemble (didn’t need the instructions), and it’s easy to maneuver around. The handle doesn’t extend or anything but I’m ok with that. Also it comes with a few disposable dry pads and a few wet pads. I’ve given both of them a try and I think the dry pads have more use in day to day life but honestly the pads are the weakest point of the mop. Super convenient but not the best at actually cleaning.Also maybe it’s just my sensitive nose talking but I found the wet ones to be really strong fragrance-wise. They worked well, but the smell just seemed to linger and I wasn’t really a fan of that. It seemed to dry fast though.That said I quickly realized how expensive these pads are to replace, especially if you use 5-6 pads during your weekly cleaning session like I do.So instead of buying another pack of refills, I ended up buying a set of reusable microfiber mop pads that I can wash and reuse from Amazon. If you search reusable swiffer pads on Amazon you can likely find them, they are the green multi-surface ones with the white straps on the backside.Anyways, they work great with the swiffer. The size matches and you can put it on easily with the velcro. The only thing is that they’re not pre-wet (since well, they’re more of a cloth) so you have to use it with a separate bottle of cleaner. I just ended up using white vinegar and water, spray the whole rooms floor in like 30 seconds and then get down to business.I will say, however, that the swiffer is not designed for heavy scrubbing. I mean, you could probably do it but honestly for spots that need that kind of cleaning, I just go on my knees with a regular cloth.A list of pros and cons:(+)- The swiffer is compact and very lightweight- Easy to set up, you can start using it within minutes- Doesn’t take up much space in the storage closet- The mop is really cheap so I’m not worried if one of the kids breaks it- It comes with all the stuff you need to use it right away(-)- The handle is kind of flimsy and not extendable so you might have to bend down- Refill pads are kind of expensive but you probably already know that- The mop head isn’t very big so it might not be best for larger areas- Wet pads have a very strong fragrance that lingers after cleaningOverall…I am still pleased with the purchase. It’s not perfect but then again I didn’t expect it to be anyway when I bought it. For under $20 (not including the refills that you have to get), it does the job well and I’m satisfied with the results. Plus with how light weight the mop is basically anyone of any age can use it. If you’ve got kids or elderly parents in the home this is probably one of the better options out there.
Nice and Simple Mop/Sweeper. I mostly use this to mop my hardwood floors after sweeping. I have used the sweeping pads that are included with this as well and they actually pick up a lot more than I thought! Its not the best for big particles but get a LOT of the smaller unseen dust and particles on the floor. I love using it as a mop with the wet pads or with my own spray bottle. I like how you do not have to have the disposable pads in order to use this. I have owned this one in the past and would use a reusable pad or even just a washcloth in just a pinch. Cheap and multipurpose!
It’s 2023 and I finally have a Swiffer. I’m very happy with this kit. I also bought an extra box of the very wet mopping clothes. I also very much like the thickest dry mopping cloths and will be buying those next, because that way all the little rocks, crumbly pieces off dog or human treats, things that make you bend over to pick up and you notice when you get a bad back? They get cleaned up by the fat dry swiffer, so that I could follow with the very wet mopping swiffer and quickly clean the floor.I own the highest-end Tineco stick floor washer and their stick vacuum cleaner which many times beat out the Dyson V-10. But guess what? I hurt my back and fell behind in my cleaning. These devices are excellent, but you can’t use the floor cleaner until you’ve vacuumed because it is such an excellent machine it picks everything up and then stops working and you get an error message because it’s clogged up. No complaint on the device. But how do I spot mop a new mess until I can get the house cleaned? Answer: Swiffer.And I now realize in EVERY household you never want to have to pull out the big guns! For every instant mess? This is what Swiffer was designed for! I can’t believe it took me decades to finally get one. I chose this over WetJet because it also had dry pads.
It’s fine, probably I just don’t know how to use it. I thought this would solve all my cleaning necessities, however I ended up buying a regular broom and a mop.I mean, it’s good for like superficial cleaning, but not for a space in which you actually live.It’s compact and saves a ton of space but you cannot clean up like, I don’t know, spilled cinnamon for example.And the mop it’s savable but it gives me the ick using one moist towel for the whole space, like carrying dirt from one place to another.In the end it’s like a Roomba, nice and convenient but doesn’t substitute the old fashioned cleaning supplies.
Convenient and easy. Love this thing it’s really a game changer for me . It’s great for when you want to clean your floors but don’t want to bust out the mop and bucket and deal with all that . The scented pads smell amazing and leave the floors looking great and plus it dries quickly perfect for small apartments with wood floors and tile . I get my whole house done in like 5 min
Price. The sweeper is easy to assemble and use. The products work great. The price for what you get in terms of cloths is a little high. I can get a comparable cloth sheet for cheaper with a larger quantity in a different brand.

Works well but the wet wipes were leaking. The mop works great and it’s super easy to assemble, but I think the wet wipes packing had a tear so it started leaking a bit.
Can’t go wrong with a classic. I’ve been attempting to clean my bathroom without a Swiffer for the past few years (vacuuming + mopping), but it is really a pain, especially if you are like me and want a spotless bathroom all of the time. The Swiffer is still, hands down, the fastest way to quickly spot clean, and pick up all of the hair in less than a minute or two. This kit came with so many different types of cloths to sample, both wet/dry… and I’ll use all of them. Definitely a good bang for your buck!
Swiffer sweep. I tried this mop due to how great swiffer wipes worked at holding dirt . This mop is easy set up and ready to go . Now I’m not gonna lie they’re fantastic for spills but if used all over floors will leave a residue. They do move around easily changing angles for corners. But to mop your floor if dirty all over don’t think they’ll remove like a ring mom would . I still love them after the full mom is done to keep up with between heavy cleaning . They’re also very functional,I’ve done walls,ceilings and corners around the room . The ease of use keeps the house clean between cleaning without dragging out the whole mop and buch .I’d recommend for a fast efficient way of getting the floor back without hassle

Awesome. Loved the sampling of products that comes with it. Helped me decide what to buy. It works very well as a daily dry cleaner for pet hair and a quick mop up before bed. Very happy with the maneuvering. I had an old wet jet that I replaced with this. Much easier to use.
