Related Product Deals & User Reviews

  1. Easy to use; Great Quality; Excellent Value; Reliable Use; Better than I Expected. The media could not be loaded.  Setting up the Sunny Health & Fitness unit:I am so THRILLED that I did not spend over $300 on the expensive more advertised version of this machine made by a different company. I’d have paid for their advertising and glossy box but would not have gotten the great product that I received today (at least it could not have been better). The large box was delivered in 2 days (thank you Amazon Prime) and there was NOTHING to put together! YES! All I did was get rid of the packaging and put it on a mat on the floor (I have tile floors and everything slips on them, so a kitchen rug under the exerciser worked). Note: there is a clear strip of plastic you need to pull out of the side of the digital meter to allow it to start working. That I didn’t notice at first but that was the extent of setup. It was wonderful. Now about my experience in using it:I sat in my low comfy leather couch in front of my tv and put my feet into my new Sunny Health & Fitness unit. I didn’t bother to adjust the dial/meter whatever it is, I just started peddling and off I went. It was a little harder than I wanted to peddle so I turned the resistance dial down and off I peddled again. It was great, I watched tv sat on my comfortable couch and exercised. No muss no fuss no problems at all.THE PROS:Price: $100 as opposed to $250 to $350. This unit is a real savings.Setup: There is nothing to set up but don’t forget that little plastic strip.Quality: Right up there with the other more expensive products (I have had an opportunity to use my friends more expensive exercise machine and really not a bit better). It is also built very solidly, I’m very impressed. Do put a rug under it, any machine like this needs something to keep it from slipping (yoga mat, kitchen floor rug anything).Warranty: It comes with a company warranty of 1 year frame and 180 days (6 months) parts warranty. Other companies come with 1 year 90 day warranties or less. Of course you can buy an additional warranty if you feel the need for a few dollars when you check out but it’s important to know that this company stands up for its product better than other companies.CONS:Uhm ….. none yet. I’ve only researched this for months and had it for a short while. I will have to return to this review in 3 and 6 months (May 2020, Aug 2020), to update this product review and let you know how this product does.IN SUM: This is an affordable 5 star product that I highly recommend to everyone!

  2. No assembly required. I love this elliptical bike. Ready to use right out of box. It’s manual so nothing should break or battery or need to be near an outlet. So many settings to make it easier or very very difficult. I can only do setting #2 out of 8!! I highly recommend it and yes it is a heavy. I would not want to have to move to often. I keep it in one place in my house.

  3. 👍🏼. UPDATE AFTER 1 WEEK: This thing is FANTASTIC!!!! I’m gradually adding tension. It exercises my calves, thighs, knees, helps with knee range of motion. THIS IS THE ONE YOU NEED!!!ORIGINAL REVIEW: Even better than I hoped for. The foot peddles are perfectly shaped. The machine is WHISPER quiet! There is a nice handle on top to move it. The 25 pound weight IS challenging for me but that weight makes it so very sturdy! It doesn’t slide around or tip. The electronic features and tension control are great. I think it’s a fantastic bargain. I highly recommend it!

  4. Excellent. Read on. I received this 2 days ago and used it the next day. The only regret I have was not ordering a exercizer with foot straps. I have neuropathy in both feet and I can not feelk very well so my right foot will easily slide off the pedal. I wish I ordered a model with foot restrainsts to limit that, BUT it is an excellent reliptical and I will find a work arount for thuis minor issue

  5. Work From Home Use. I use this under my desk on days I work from home in order to not be totally sedentary while sitting most of the day. I do feel it in my thighs. I Iike being able to adjust the resistance, and it’s relatively quiet. The tracks that the wheels roll on are a bit greased so cat walking over it leads to greasy footprints…When considering using this device under a desk, do take into account how close your knees & thighs are to the underside of the desk because they do need room to move up and down while peddling. I have about 2-3 inches of vertical travel at my knee when peddling depending how close your chair is to this device.

  6. So glad I got this. This is my third Sunny product, and all 3 are great. It fits under my desk, my knees have plenty of room. It came fully assembled, so all I had to do was open the box. The pedals are long and grooved, to hold your foot, with or without shoes (I use it both ways). The display has all the info on it I could want (time, distance, speed, calories burned). The levels of tension… there’s almost none in the first 5 levels, the last couple do tick it up a notch. It isn’t gonna give you huge quad muscles, but if you’re using an under-the-desk machine in the first place, you’re probably not a body builder. It gives me great, easy range of motion while I sit on my butt at my desk. It’s exactly what I wanted.

  7. Works and is very quiet. I bought this product to be able to exercise anytime at home. I put it next to my computer chair and I use it most of the time that I am sitting in that chair. The machine has a wide variety of setting, from easy to more resistance. It also has a built in timer so you can see how much time you’ve been exercising, among other items being tracked. It says that it is easily transported, but I do find it a bit heavy to love. I’m sure younger, stronger people will have no difficulty moving or transporting this machine.I’ve only been using it for two weeks, but this is one exercise machine that I actually use, and enjoy using.

  8. Sit-down elliptical for sedentary jobs. Purchased to force-function some exercise while seated in front of the computer 8-hours per day, five days per week. It arrived timely and intact, requiring no assembly. It fit easily under the desk and has grippy feet to reduce movement on the floor. Because my floors are LVP, it did slide with some pushing so I put a box between the front and the wall to keep it firmly in place. The pedaling does result in some noise as the ‘flywheel’ moves, though there is no motor or other sounds. The resistance knob allows for increasing the challenge and benefit of the workout. At $117, it was expensive but less so than other brands. It does not have blue-tooth so the workout has to be manually recorded in whatever app one uses for exercise tracking. It has a battery-operated display of distance, time, and calories but I don’t use that part. I focus on time and heart rate, which I track through an Apple Watch. I would recommend for those who want to trial something to ensure they will use it before investing in a more expensive device, which was my motivation. I have learned that I will use such a device and plan to keep using this one until it dies or I am able to peddle quickly at the top resistance for 30 minutes without an increase in heart rate. I do recommend it and, if I had to replace it due to maxing out resistance or breakage, I would buy something similar with blue-tooth technology. For beginners or those who don’t want to spend $300 on a desk elliptical, this is a good option.

  9. Excellent Product. Pop it out of the box by it’s handle, put it on the floor, start peddling. Solid, easy quiet operation, perfect for sitting at your desk or in a chair watching TV. Keep the joints moving after knee surgery or any other applications where you need to move your legs. Simple, non-stressful exercise. Quality product.

  10. Quiet and Discreet. I took this to work, stuck it under my desk and have been loving it. I work in a quieter office setting so I was worried that you might be able to hear it, but it is VERY quiet. I am typing as I am using the elliptical – my upper body is able to stay completely stationary so no one even knows that I am using it unless they come behind my desk. I love that it keeps track of my calories, minutes used, distance. At the end of the week, I look and see how much I was able to do. This is ABSOLUTELY worth the money and I highly recommend.

  11. Works great. This is a quiet, compact, easy to use exercise peddler. Comes fully assembled just take it out of the box and start exercising. Adjustable tension for more resistance while peddling. I am using this as part of my recovery after knee surgery. Very happy with my purchase.

  12. good elliptical. The good: No assembly was required. It wasn’t too heavy. It does a good job requiring one to exercise the ankles, legs and hips. The not so good: It can slide, so be sure to put the front of the machine against a wall. And if you have hardwood floors, place a non-slip mat underneath it to avoid scratching the floor. One last thing, for those who need to begin with an elliptical with a low resistance level, the first setting is a bit hard; a zero setting would have been better. So, just be advised, you may want to look at other machines.

  13. Perfect for Rehabbing a Broken Ankle. My wife broke her ankle in 3 places and she lost her leg strength and range of motion due to not being able to walk on it for 2.5 months. We watched the videos on the Sunny Elliptical Peddler and noticed that there was much more ankle flexing when using it compared to other products with strap pedals. She has been using it for a month now and it has significantly helped increase her ankle range of motion as well as strengthened her leg muscles. The key difference is the long flat foot petal which allows her to push down on the front part of her foot in the downward motion thus increasing her range of motion over time. The unit is well made, easy to pick up with a convenient handle and quiet. Highly recommend for ankle rehabbing!!!

  14. EFFECTIVE WORKOUT / NO STRAIN. This excellently designed machine was inexpensive, comfortable, came completely assembled, stays in placeon my rug. NO STIRRUPS – The large foot platformsaccommodate any footwear. It fits under my desk.I wanted a small, quiet and portable device. This offers a similar workout to the cardio gym’s NU-STEP machine ($4ooo) used to give me for my heart, back & legs.THIS LITTLE MACHINE IS A TRUE WORKOUT!

  15. Elliptical unit is great if you sit much of the day. I’m in my mid-40s, and I work from home full-time. I bought this just to keep moving, and have no issues with the tension, or moving the unit back and forth from under where I sit to work (which is the kitchen table). It’s awesome if you sit much of the day- I believe over time this will improve my fitness level. I’m on Day 3, and have pedaled between 2 and 3 hours a day. I can see where this might be bulky or heavy depending on your workspace (and physical condition when it comes to lifting things), but for me it’s not a problem. This is a handy little machine for continuous exercise.Edit: after nearly another week of use, this machine is solid. I suspect there must be some quality control issues however, if others are noticing theirs moves around. The unit is 25 pounds, so I can’t see how that possible with normal use. I’ve used mine primarily on carpet, and a little time was spent on hardwood. It doesn’t move at all. It will be interesting to see if the tension still works in 6 months, but my initial opinion of this is that it’s awesome!

  16. Close to perfect. Purchased this under desk pedaller as my own Christmas gift. Honestly, it’s near perfect. It makes no noise, the pedaling is smooth, my knees dont hit my desk and, the best part, my legs feel stronger. I bought this bc I am on work calls most of the day. My legs get cramped and my butt hurts, in spite of my comfy desk chair. I just wantes to keep my legs moving. This has done the trick. My legs feel great and my strength has improved. A few issues – the heel of the pedals could be closer to the ground and the tension could go a lot higher. I’m already at the highest tension. Wish it went higher. And I’ve seen a more expensive brand where the pedals seem lower to the ground. Since my office chair isnt particularly high, and I dont want to replace my chair, lower pedals would be a bit better for my set up. But that’s just me. The unit doesn’t slide forward on carpet, the weight of it is fine, it’s smooth and quiet and it serves its purpose – keeping my legs strong. I’m very satisfied.

  17. Excellent Exerciser. I used this Sunny exerciser every day for about a month before writing this review and the more I use it the more I like it. The pedal mechanism is silky smooth, the main resistance motor is silky smooth, it’s totally quiet, the resistance level is easy to set and it actually is very cool looking. It’s kind of on the heavy side but the weight makes it rock steady and it stays put, never moves or shakes. Though one month is a little soon to be sure, it looks and feels extremely sturdy and should last a long time trouble free. Overall this is an excellent exercise machine a bargain at the price.

  18. Very Impressive. I just received this today, (6-8-24) and I already can tell how much that I like this machine.I am 71 years old, 5′-11″, 190 lbs., I used to be in good shape but not doing as much as I used to, I have gotten to where my joints hurt when I squat, up and down. I used to also exercise, but I stopped that, I am REALLY hoping that this will get me to at least get enough cardio (I know, very little) to get up and get on my treadmill.Anyway, as soon as I got it, I started pedaling away, it is as effortless as one could ever hope, too. I pedaled for probably 20 minutes while I was online reading, and when I stopped, I was surprised.I could feel that it was working on my thighs and my calf areas, it wasn’t like I did a strenuous workout, b ut I could feel that the blood was being pumped into places that it forgot all about! :)When starting, I did find out that by pedaling like a bicycle, that felt awkward, so I started pushing the ‘pedals’ forward, rather than trying to push them down as I would on a bike.If that doesn’t make sense, just know to try different ways, you’ll get a feel for it, I’m sure. So, with that said, with it being right underneath my computer desk, which I actually have the room for, I can’t see that I would not use it. I mean, I’d have to REALLY be lazy to come up with an excuse to avoid it, like I am known to do.Using it, I wondered if it was going to slide, but on carpet, it doesn’t, I have not used it on tile. If it does, I would suggest to place a small rug underneath. It does have rubber feet on the bottom, so I am pretty sure it won’t slide on tile or slicker flooring. The new faux wooden flooring is usually actually kind of ‘grippy’, so it should work out well on that. It’s as quiet as they say, it makes ZERO noise as far as i can tell.Like I said, it’s effortless when pedaling, I have it on the easiest because starting out on the HIGH was just not as fun. It’s not like I am a doddering old man type, it’s just that I have gotten lazy, that’s all.So, as time goes on I am sure that I will creep up the tension, or, not, it really probably doesn’t matter.I mean, on the least tension is fine, it still gives you a slight bit of cardio, even barely pedaling, it’s not much, but it’s more than I’d get sitting here not doing anything.I can see this is perfect for older people, I mean, it’s as easy as you can get, and, it will get the job done. The main thing that it is slightly heavy for older people, I didn’t have any trouble, but if a person has a bad back or knees, or, whatever, they may need someone to help them get it in the PERFECT place and then just leave it there.Anyway, a long story short, I don’t foresee any problems with the machine itself, but if something does come up, I will update this.

  20. Funciona muy bien para personas mayores, se la regalé a mi mamá de casi 80 años y le ha gustado mucho.

  21. Easy, low impact, great for legs. Sunny is a top pick of ours for exercise equipment like their indoor bike and now this, the Under Desk Elliptical Exerciser. Easy out of the box already assembled. It weighs 25 lbs and is somewhat heavy to lift and relocate, but we use it in one area so this isn’t an issue.Excellent little pedal machine and I like that it isn’t electric, your feet and legs do the work. After the initial full revolution at the lowest resistance, it’s pretty much effortless and motivating. I took it to each level of impact, all 8 in sequence, and the feel of motion was not too noticeable. In other words I can do a gradual workout with each selection from level 1-8 in a preferred time set with overall comfort and ease. I would say this is a low impact unit, yet gives a decent workout. You can manage the machine with whatever suits your routine. I choose less impact being conservative with resistance and it still has good results in toning my legs and very moderate cardio. If I want a rigorous ride I’ll jump on the Sunny indoor bike. All in all, we are very happy with this pedal exerciser. Good while watching the news or just hanging out being social in the living room. It might get too distracting for me to use this while working on projects at the Mac. We highly recommend this for anyone looking to keep their leg circulation in good form without taking it to the streets or trail every time the urge to move comes along. And speaking of move, this does not! It stays put on carpet and I’m sure it wouldn’t slip on hardwood or linoleum. Very sturdy and safe. Do not stand up on this machine. The company posts a warning about that, could cause serious injury. One thing we suggest is if you’re looking to buy a machine for older parents or grandparents, an electrical apparatus might be best, and Sunny has those available too. There are other products that connect to power with very little to no impact but keep circulation alive and well. We love this Under Desk pedal addition and it seems to be built exceptionally well, a positive point to note for the long haul.

  22. long time amazon customer August 28, 2024 at 12:00 am

Quiet and does the job. Foot platform large enough for hubbie’s size 17 feet. All manual and very quiet. A little tricky to get smooth movement at first, but a little practice will do it. Don’t use any of the metrics. The tension selector is adequate. Had to try several chairs to get the correct height and angle.

  23. Voted top product by Good Housekeeping. I needed this product because while I try to keep a routine work out schedule, work sometimes gets in the way and I don’t want to go to the gym or do a video or Oculus workout late in the evening. It just never happens. But this product is AMAZING. I can get a great workout after dinner while watching TV or on my phone. My favorite setting is 5 or 6 and for 30-40 minutes, my heart rate hovers between 90 and 115 and 150-200 calories burned. Similar to the treadmill or elliptical in 30 at the gym. It is 25 pounds, but as 64 yo female at 5’2, 138 pounds and good health, it’s not really a big issue when I want to move it. It reminds me that it is sturdy and well made. After I purchased, I did some research on recommended brands and was thrilled to see this exact model was voted BEST OVERALL of under desk elliptical by Good Housekeeping for 2024. Plus, it was under $100 before tax in black. Pink may be slightly more. No more I can’t work out excuses and extremely happy with my purchase. Get it.

  24. Smooth and silent elliptical motion. I started using this the same day I received it. Other than popping the 2 AAA batteries into the LED readout, there is no assembly required. It’s ready to use right out of the box. It’s solidly built and is heavy, so it doesn’t shift around, even when peddling as fast as I can on a polished wood floor. It has a low profile, which makes it perfect for my 27″ (in height) desk and I’m short (5’1″). The elliptical motion is more forwards and backwards with a small delta in up and down motion, so if you have less clearance under your desk, it won’t cause the issue I had with an under-desk bicycling exerciser. The bicycling pattern made me move my legs with a lot more up and down motion, which in turn caused my body to move side to side. This is not great when you are trying to type on your keyboard, or are in a video meeting. The magnetic resistance goes from almost no resistance to high resistance in 8 increments and is manually set using the big dial on the front of the unit. No dependence on being near an electrical outlet lets you exercise anywhere there’s a flat surface big enough for it and something to sit on. This is not a model built for standing on. So far, it’s everything I’ve been looking for – heavy, quiet, easy to use, low profiled, perfect resistance range, sturdy, and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this under-desk elliptical. NOTE: I bought this unit because my job is totally sedentary, and this was causing edema in my ankles. I’ve only been using the elliptical for 2 weeks, and the edema has lessened dramatically in that short a span of time. I’m expecting the edema to become a non-issue by the end of this month. Yay for staying in motion even when you’re sitting at a desk all day long!

  25. The reviews dont lie. Just had double knee replacemenr and didnt want to clutter my space with a full size exercise bike. Found this and omg its perfect! No plugs. No loud noise. Super smooth. No hassle set up. Love the different levels. This is the perfect device to get my knees moving and use for future exercise! Excellent product super well made!
